"writing": "The day dawned quietly and calmly over the island of Nezinoma Salis. Thin morning mist dissipated into the skimpy clouds as the rays of the sun grew in strength and showered the land in their warmth and light. Jorbles twittered, a pair of Rukus fluttered up from the road into town as Orangeblossom - or Applesauce as she was affectionately known - made her way around and through the orchards to tend to the fruit trees.\n\nIt was the day after Cloudchaser's birthday. Fleetfire and Lucinia, having spent the night at Moonchaser's and Cloudchaser's small house, had therefore joined the two Siamese-patterned Mry on the way to the morning communal bath in the Warm Lake, meeting up with Sunfire and Skyfire, and Fleetfire's other friends. Their voices drifted happily through the morning air as they helped each other with their bathing, talking about the birthday party of the previous day, talking about things they'd had for breakfast, and making plans for the day. As there was no school that day, it left the younger Mry free to enjoy the day.\n\nA yellow Buzzy flying by had prompted Lucinia to ask Fleetfire about the incident that had caused the flame-tabby Mry to lose her eyesight\n \"Oooh, yeah!\" Fleetfire nodded, placing a paw on Lucinia's shoulder and turning a bit to face the waterfall. \"It was up in the forest there past the waterfall, see! We were playing there, looking for Faekitties in the forest! Near the source of the waterfall, there's often a lot of them! But while we were poking around bushes and trees and such, that's when we disturbed a nest of yellow Buzzies and we had to run like mad!\"\nLucinia slowly nodded as well, looking up along the waterfall and the lush forest covering the side of the mountain. Something about what Fleetfire had said made the Kattin turn and look at Fleetfire with a puzzled look, though.\n \"I never heard... what is... fay... kitties?\"\n \"You never heard of Faekitties before?\" Cloudchaser asked.\n \"No? We not have in my country. What they are?\"\n \"They're like totally adorable!\" Fleetfire crooned. \"They are kinda like... hmm... like... butterfly cats! Yeah! They're only about this big...\" She indicated a size of about four inches with the fingers of one paw, \"...but they're totally colorful! Just like us! They come in like every color you can imagine, and they can also have cute patterns of spots or stripes or big splotches in their fur! And they have big colorful butterfly wings, too! Also in all colors you can think of, and sometimes with cute patterns on them! They're so cute!\"\n \"They're also called a lonely lady's best friend,\" Cloudchaser added with a snigger. \"The one other thing that stands out about them, you know, is that they are about the most sexual little creatures you ever came across.\"\n \"What?\" Lucinia blinked.\n \"Yeah! That's so true!\" Fleetfire giggled. \"They feed on like nectar and honey from flowers, you know, like normal butterflies. But they only really thrive on, well, the nectar of a girl!\"\nLucinia's face was all questionmarks.\n \"Girl... nectar?\"\n \"That stuff we release from our sex when we're hot and feel real good and climax, you remember?\" Cloudchaser chortled, running her fingers through Lucinia's hair. \"A Faekitty can live very well on flower nectar, but they really do the best on girl juices. They're always girls themselves, and their one purpose in life is to have as much sex as possible with each other and girls of other species to get as much of those juices to live on.\" She ran her free paw over her pointy muzzle. \"I believe they also use it to reproduce in a way, but I can't quite remember anymore. We only had one lesson about Faekitties in school, and that was Seasons and Seasons ago.\"\n \"But that's why they can be such awesome little companions for a lonesome girl Mry,\" Fleetfire giggled. \"Like we told you and showed you, we can't really play with ourselves very much due to the size and shape of our bodies, so to get the best sex and have good orgasms, we need the help of another Mry. But when you can't find any to help you, for whatever reason, it's awesome if you have a Faekitty, because they will do it for you, and they hardly ever stop! They're almost indefatigable!\" She clapped her paws in enthusiasm. \"You know, that's totally what we should do today! We should go up the mountain and see if we can find Faekitties! If only so Lucie can see what they look like!\"\n \"That sounds like a great idea,\" Cloudchaser agreed with a chortle.\n \"Oh yeah, I'm in!\" Nightshade, the lanky black-furred Mry giggled.\n \"Aw, I wish I could come too!\" Golden Glory said with a bit of a pout. \"But I promised Morning Glory I'd help her with her chores at the inn today.\"\n \"Yeah, we can't come either,\" the twins Dartfoot and Fleetfoot said. \"Mom's taking us out into the valley for hunting and gathering. She said we'll probably go to the Big Lake to go fishing.\"\n \"Ohh, but that's fun too!\" Fleetfire smiled. \"Hey, you should ask your mom to go by our place on your way out! Lucie caught a Hoppie yesterday, and we still have some of the stuff we cleaned out of it left! You could take that, maybe you'll catch Snapfish in the Big Lake with it!\"\n \"Okay, thanks!\" both twin sisters beamed. \"We'll do that! If we catch Snapfish, we'll totally bring you one, Fleetfire!\"\n \"Thanks!\" Fleetfire beamed in return. \"Snapfish is yum!\" She turned when she heard adult Mry approaching them from behind, sniffing with her whiskers twitching. \"Oh, Sunfire, Skyfire! I just told Fleetfoot and Dartfoot here they should ask their mom to drop by our house when they go out into the valley to get the leftovers from that Hoppie Lucie caught to fish with!\"\n \"We heard that,\" Sunfire nodded with a soft chortle. \"Are you girls almost done here? Bathing time's over.\"\n \"Yeah, we're done,\" Fleetfire nodded. \"But hey, Sunfire? Instead of going home now first, can I go with Lucie and Cloudchaser and Nightshade up on the mountain? We wanna see if we can find Faekitties! Lucie's never seen those!\"\n \"Shouldn't you get dried off first, and put something on?\" Sunfire chuckled.\n \"Totally nope!\" Fleetfire giggled. \"C'mon Sunfire, Sister Sun is already strong enough to dry us, and we'll be going through the forest and the bushes and all, so our clothes would only snag and rip and everything! We'd be much better off just like this!\"\n \"She's got a point, grouchybutt,\" Skyfire giggled.\n \"I suppose she does,\" Sunfire nodded with another chuckle. She touched a fingertip against Fleetfire's nose. \"Alright, you can go as you are, Fleety. Just make sure you're careful, alright? You know what happened last time!\"\n \"Yeah yeah!\" Fleetfire giggled, batting a paw at Sunfire's finger. \"We'll totally be careful, Sunfire! I wouldn't lead Lucie into danger, nope!\"\n \"That we know, and trust on, sweetie,\" Sunfire nodded with a smile. \"Don't stay out too long, okay? Once Sister Sun touches the treetops, you are to come home.\"\n \"I will keep an eye on that, Sunfire,\" Cloudchaser promised with a giggle, having just gotten the same permission to go up the mountain from her older sister Moonchaser.\n \"And it sounds like a fair time,\" Forestshade, Nightshade's mother, said with a smile, still being hugged tightly by the small, lanky black Mry who had also just gotten permission to go. \"So you've heard it too, Nightshade; once Sister Sun touches the treetops, you're to come home, understood?\"\n \"I will, mom!\" Nightshade nodded happily.\n \"Can we bring home Faekitties too if we can catch any?\" Fleetfire giggled, alternating her sightless gaze between Skyfire and Sunfire with the most cutely begging expression she could bring to her face.\n \"That is a great big if,\" Skyfire giggled. \"You know how fast those little devils are!\"\n \"True,\" Sunfire nodded. \"I don't see any problems in you girls bringing home any caught Faekitties, but I seriously doubt you'd manage to catch any in the first place.\"\n \"I know, I know,\" Fleetfire nodded with a giggle. \"I don't really think we could catch any either, but if we do, we'll totally bring them home! Yeah! Lucie is so awesome at everything, I'm sure she could catch one!\"\n\nLucinia blushed a bit as they waded to the shore of the Warm Lake to dry off with the towels they had brought. It wasn't before too long Fleetfire took her by a paw and pulled her away from the attentions of her older sisters, however, giggling cheerfully. Together with Cloudchaser and Nightshade, she led the way around the Warm Lake, crossing the stream on the right side and the last part of level ground at the foot of the mountains surrounding Viola Valley.\n\nEven if she couldn't see, it was clear Fleetfire still had vivid memories of how lovely the surroundings were. She picked her way along the trees, following a sort of path that ran right alongside the waterfall which gave Lucinia some of the most beautiful views Viola Valley had to offer. The mountain from which the waterfall welled up was a dormant volcano; its nutrient-rich soil combined with the ever-present mist of the tumbling water caused an abundance of plantlife; lush ferns, copious flowers, dense evergreens, even fruit-bearing vines.\n\nThe gentle mist of the waterfall also caused a dewy glisten of dampness on the fur of the three Mry and the one Kattin making their way through the soft grass and thick moss, while the rays of the sun struck sparkles of amethyst, sapphire, ruby and emerald from the moisture and caused small rainbows across the more bare rocks directly aside the tumbling water. The rumble of the water did drown out most of the other sounds around, but as the four girls moved higher up the mountain, the noise of the water slowly grew fainter, allowing the songs of the Jorbles and Flitties in the trees to be heard.\n\nLucinia couldn't take it all in quickly enough. Every step they took there was something else of beauty that had the thin Kattin whipping her head around in amazement. A large patch of light blue bell-shaped flowers blooming profusely. Bright green and golden-flecked butterflies fluttering about. A mother Foofle with two babies scurrying around in the undergrowth. Colorful little birds flitting around from branch to branch in the trees. Every turn, every step had another new thing of beauty to show; it almost seemed as if the mountain was doing its best to show Lucinia just how beautiful the land of Nezinoma Salis was compared to the desert land the Kattin originated from.\n\nThe constant mewls and sound of surprise and delight coming from Lucinia at the things she saw quite amused the three Mry, who took turns in pointing out things of interest or beauty to the small Kattin. Before they knew it, they reached more level ground, nearing the summit of the mountain. Again Lucinia looked around with wide eyes - looking back the way they had come she could see the whole of Viola Valley laying below them, basking in the sun; looking the other way, she had a view over the fields and plains stretching out from the other side of the mountains for as far as she could see, dotted with forests and smaller clumps of trees, rutted trails meandering off into the distance, and a stream that welled up from the top of the mountain and wound its way down the outside, running towards a large lake that could be just seen reflecting the sunlight in the distance.\n\nFleetfire, Cloudchaser and Nightshade let Lucinia look around for several moments in silence, taking in the magnificent sights spread out before her. Cloudchaser lay a paw on the Kattin's shoulder eventually, drawing Lucinia's attention with almost a shock.\n \"Quite a view from up here, isn't it?\"\n \"Yes!\" Lucinia nodded with a soft gasp. \"Is so beautiful! So much... plants, and flowers, and water!\"\n \"Speaking of water, can you see the Big Lake, Lucie?\" Fleetfire giggled as she reached out with a paw and slid it along Lucinia's other arm while stepping closer, pointing with her other paw. \"It should be somewhere over there, on clear days you can actually see it from here. Or well, part of it anyway. If you follow the stream that starts up here with your eyes, you should be able to see it.\"\n \"Yes! I can see!\" Lucinia nodded, a paw at her forehead to shield her eyes from the sun. \"Is so sparkling!\"\n \"It does catch the light of Sister Sun very well, yes,\" Fleetfire giggled. \"That is where Dartfoot and Fleetfoot said their mom would take them today to go fishing. It's fun, you know! There's such different fish in the Big Lake than there are in the ocean!\" She smiled with a soft purr. \"There's a smaller lake near it, too, though you can't see that from here. When I was a little kitten, Sunfire and Skyfire often took me there so we could catch Guppybups. I think I even still have the little net somewhere.\"\n \"That is sweet,\" Lucinia said with a soft smile, tilting her head slightly. \"What is... Gup... py... bups?\"\n \"They're totally neat little fishies!\" Nightshade piped up with a giggle. \"I have a glass box full of them! They are about as big as your finger, and they have a tail like a fan! All kinds of colors, too!\" She slid a paw along Lucinia's side. \"You should come see mine sometime!\"\n \"I like! Yes!\" Lucinia nodded happily. \"Fish is nice! Is lots fish here?\"\n \"Oh yes,\" Cloudchaser nodded. \"With it always being so warm here, the water in the streams and lakes here is warm too, and there's a lot of fish that like that a lot. You don't see many fish in our Warm Lake, but that's because of the waterfall and the current of the water, and because all of our town bathes in it every morning, but a lot of the streams and all the lakes and ponds here have a whole bunch of different kinds of fish in them.\" She wrapped an arm around Lucinia's shoulder and turned a bit, pointing with her free paw. \"See where the stream that starts over there splits off in the distance? By the time the water has reached there, it doesn't flow so quick anymore, and that fork in the stream is a great place to catch Slaboobles. They're sorta somewhat squishy fish about this big...\" She indicated about four inches with the thumb and finger of one paw, \"...and they're usually white with some orange and black, or yellow. Though in that stream I've seen them with green and blue, too. And in the small pond that's near the Big Lake, you can find Fillymips! They're real delicate fish, but in that pond there's no larger predator fish so they do very well in that pond.\"\n \"Yeah!\" Nightshade nodded. \"And the Big Lake has Speckleflutters! You have to dive under the water to find those though, they always stay near the bottom and hide between rocks and stuff. But they look real nifty! And if you can catch them, you're lucky! In the fish stores in Ocean City, you can buy fish for in glass boxes, to look at, you know, and Speckleflutters are like real expensive!\"\n\nLucinia listened with rapt attention, nodding every now and then while she gazed out in the directions Cloudchaser and Fleetfire pointed at. She couldn't help giggling sometimes at the named of the different kinds of fish, eventually turning to look at Nightshade.\n \"Ocean City store... they sell fish, like, not for eat?\"\n \"Indeed!\" Nightshade nodded with a smile. \"A lot of us like having small animals in the house to take care of, and having a big glass box with water and plants and fish in it to look at can be very relaxing! And besides, most of those kinds of fish are too pretty to eat, and too small too, you would hardly taste anything if you'd eat one, hee!\"\nLucinia giggled as well, tilting her head a bit.\n \"Is Faekitties in store too?\"\n \"Not anymore,\" Nightshade giggled. \"There used to be, but the store owner couldn't keep up with the demand and breeding them. There is still a store for grown-ups where they sell Faekitties, I think, but I'm not sure, I never seen it.\"\n \"We'll probably find some up here though!\" Fleetfire nodded, putting a paw on Lucinia's shoulder and pointing with her other paw. \"See the big crater over there? This mountain was a fire mountain, you know, that's why the waterfall and the Warm Lake are so warm. And see how there's like two streams starting near the crater? That one over there, it curves around the base of the crater, see? We should go over there, there's often wild Faekitties there.\"\n \"I see, yes!\" Lucinia nodded, thoroughly impressed with Fleetfire's ability to know where the streams were and what they looked like. \"We catch Faekitties?\"\n \"I doubt it!\" Fleetfire giggled. \"Like Skyfire said; they're superfast! One moment you're looking at one, the next moment you reach out and shoom! It's gone! And we didn't bring our nets or anything, either. But we can still see if we can find any!\"\n \"I like! Yes! I want see what they look like!\" Lucinia nodded happily.\n \"Let's go then!\" Fleetfire smiled brightly, waving her paw. \"We gotta be like real real quiet though!\"\n \"So stop shouting and start sneaking, stripeybutt,\" Cloudchaser sniggered.\n\nFleetfire giggled and stuck out her tongue in Cloudchaser's direction. Still, the lilac-patterned Siamese Mry was right, so they started making their way in the direction of the old volcanic crater as quietly as they could. Keeping low to the ground, or at least as low as they could manage, they moved through the grass and flowers and bushes, careful of every step they took, every spot on the ground where they put down their soft paws. They actually managed to stay quite soundless in their movements, blending with the nature rather than disturbing it as they crept and sneaked closer towards the crater, crossing the first narrow stream and moving in a half-circle along the shore of the second stream.\n\nA large clump of enormous ferns provided plenty cover for the three Mry and the Kattin as they reached the bend in the stream. Huddling down behind and between the ferns, they peeked out between the large fronds, the three Mry laying on their feral chests and tummies with paws tucked beneath them, Lucinia merely squatting and supporting herself with one paw. Nightshade drew the Kattin's attention to an opening between several of the fronds.\n \"This is our lookout spot for when we went looking for Faekitties,\" she whispered softly. \"You can easily hide in here and look out through that gap, see?\"\n \"The ferns have gotten a lot bigger since last time though,\" Fleetfire whispered with a soft giggle. \"But that's good, because Cloudchaser's butt has gotten bigger too so she needs the extra hiding room.\"\n \"Heeey!\" Cloudchaser protested with a giggle, trying to keep her voice down. \"You're lucky we have to be so quiet, stripeybutt. Otherwise I would get you for that.\"\n \"What're you gonna do, sit on me, miss bigbutt?\" Fleetfire giggled softly.\nLucinia did her best to not giggle too much as the two Mry teased each other. They were so funny together! She suddenly whipped her head around though when Nightshade quite unexpectedly placed a paw over Fleetfire's mouth and let out a soft hiss.\n \"Ssshh! Look... there's one there,\" she whispered very softly, flicking her ears to point at the gap between the fern fronds.\n\nAll four of them fell utterly silent and started peering intently through the gaps between the fronds. Lucinia actually had to bite her lip pretty hard to not let out a sound when she saw it.\n\nIt looked absolutely adorable. A tiny little quadruped cat, a bit over three inches in size, sitting on a large flower in a patch of flowers with its head bent down to lick at the nectar in the flower's heart. Its sleek fur was a soft green in color, with faint tabby markings of a darker green resembling fern fronds. On its back, neatly folded against each other, was a pair of slightly translucent golden-colored butterfly wings sporting a pattern of thin, frilly lines of brown that resembled the veins in a leaf. The wings lightly undulated as the tiny cat sat on the flower, its little tail swishing to maintain its balance as the flower gently swayed in the wind.\n\nA rustle sounded in the huge bush of ferns at the three Mry and the Kattin stirring when after a few moments, a second of the petite creatures appeared, fluttering from behind a rock near where the stream welled up and landing on another flower near the one the green one was sitting on. The second one was a deep clear yellow in color, a solid color all over the tiny body, with smaller, more rounded butterfly wings in a soft light purple tint. It looked around once or twice before flattening itself down on the flower and crawling closer towards the middle so it could lick at the nectar.\n\nIn the fern bush, Lucinia held a paw over her muzzle to stay quiet, although her whispered, gleeful tone could still be heard by the three Mry.\n \"Is so cuuute! So small!\"\n \"They are adorable, aren't they?\" Fleetfire whispered very softly. \"What colors is that one Nightshade saw?\"\n \"There's two now,\" Nightshade whispered. \"One is light green with faint darker green stripes and yellow wings with brown lines in it. The other one is dark yellow with light purple wings.\"\n \"Cute!\" Fleetfire whispered with a very soft giggle. \"You reckon we could sneak up on them to catch one?\"\n \"I don't think we could,\" Cloudchaser whispered, chuckling. \"They're a few yards ahead of us in the big patch of white flowers. They'd be gone before we even get out of these ferns.\"\n \"Let Lucie try it,\" Fleetfire giggled softly. \"Surely you must be real good at sneaking all without sound, Lucie, right?\"\n \"I... not know,\" Lucinia whispered. \"Sun Fire, she show me, but...\"\n \"Well, you definitely have a very big advantage over us, Lucinia, you know,\" Cloudchaser whispered. \"You can stay hidden in the grass much, much better than we can because you don't have the extra lower body like we do.\"\n \"That's true,\" Nightshade nodded. \"If you crawl on your tummy, you would be like... like a Hissy. Yeah.\"\n \"You should totally try it, Lucie,\" Fleetfire urged, holding a paw over her muzzle to stifle a soft giggle. \"If nothing else, even if you won't manage to catch those Faekitties, at least when you sneak up to them you will give Cloudchaser and Nightshade a lovely view of your butt.\"\n \"Eep! Fleet fire! No!\" Lucinia mewled, blushing brightly enough for the rosy glow to show through the dark brown fur in her face.\n\nThe three Mry couldn't help bursting into giggles. Eventually, Lucinia joined in the giggles as well, batting a paw at Fleetfire's somewhat fluffy tail for teasing her like that. Of course, with their giggles being breaking the silence they had tried to maintain, the two tiny feline creatures they had spotted vanished in an instant, leaving behind just the flowers slowly bobbing in the breeze.\n \"Aww, they're gone,\" Cloudchaser said as she looked out through the gap between the fern fronds again.\n \"Well, we did laugh kinda loudly,\" Fleetfire shrugged. \"I don't know if we'll see any more either, because we've been kinda loud now. So hey! Who wants to go look for fishies in the streams? That'll be fun too!\"\n\nCloudchaser, Nightshade and Lucinia agreed cheerfully. Leaving the shelter of the huge fern bush, they made their way over to the stream that welled up at the side of the crater and flowed down along the outside of the mountain. Their cheerful voices and happy giggles carried through the air as they played and explored. All in all, it was a wonderful day. And they had even partially succeeded in their quest as well; they had found Faekitties so Lucinia had been able to see what those amazing tiny creatures looked like!\n",
"writing_bbcode_parsed": "<span style='word-wrap: break-word;'>The day dawned quietly and calmly over the island of Nezinoma Salis. Thin morning mist dissipated into the skimpy clouds as the rays of the sun grew in strength and showered the land in their warmth and light. Jorbles twittered, a pair of Rukus fluttered up from the road into town as Orangeblossom - or Applesauce as she was affectionately known - made her way around and through the orchards to tend to the fruit trees.<br /><br />It was the day after Cloudchaser&#039;s birthday. Fleetfire and Lucinia, having spent the night at Moonchaser&#039;s and Cloudchaser&#039;s small house, had therefore joined the two Siamese-patterned Mry on the way to the morning communal bath in the Warm Lake, meeting up with Sunfire and Skyfire, and Fleetfire&#039;s other friends. Their voices drifted happily through the morning air as they helped each other with their bathing, talking about the birthday party of the previous day, talking about things they&#039;d had for breakfast, and making plans for the day. As there was no school that day, it left the younger Mry free to enjoy the day.<br /><br />A yellow Buzzy flying by had prompted Lucinia to ask Fleetfire about the incident that had caused the flame-tabby Mry to lose her eyesight<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot;Oooh, yeah!&quot; Fleetfire nodded, placing a paw on Lucinia&#039;s shoulder and turning a bit to face the waterfall. &quot; It was up in the forest there past the waterfall, see! We were playing there, looking for Faekitties in the forest! Near the source of the waterfall, there&#039;s often a lot of them! But while we were poking around bushes and trees and such, that&#039;s when we disturbed a nest of yellow Buzzies and we had to run like mad!&quot;<br />Lucinia slowly nodded as well, looking up along the waterfall and the lush forest covering the side of the mountain. Something about what Fleetfire had said made the Kattin turn and look at Fleetfire with a puzzled look, though.<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot;I never heard... what is... fay... kitties?&quot;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot; You never heard of Faekitties before?&quot; Cloudchaser asked.<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot; No? We not have in my country. What they are?&quot;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot;They&#039;re like totally adorable!&quot; Fleetfire crooned. &quot; They are kinda like... hmm... like... butterfly cats! Yeah! They&#039;re only about this big...&quot; She indicated a size of about four inches with the fingers of one paw, &quot;...but they&#039;re totally colorful! Just like us! They come in like every color you can imagine, and they can also have cute patterns of spots or stripes or big splotches in their fur! And they have big colorful butterfly wings, too! Also in all colors you can think of, and sometimes with cute patterns on them! They&#039;re so <em>cute</em>!&quot;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot;They&#039;re also called a lonely lady&#039;s best friend,&quot; Cloudchaser added with a snigger. &quot; The one other thing that stands out about them, you know, is that they are about the most sexual little creatures you ever came across.&quot;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot; What?&quot; Lucinia blinked.<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot;Yeah! That&#039;s so true!&quot; Fleetfire giggled. &quot; They feed on like nectar and honey from flowers, you know, like normal butterflies. But they only really thrive on, well, the nectar of a girl!&quot;<br />Lucinia&#039;s face was all questionmarks.<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot;Girl... nectar?&quot;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot; That stuff we release from our sex when we&#039;re hot and feel real good and climax, you remember?&quot; Cloudchaser chortled, running her fingers through Lucinia&#039;s hair. &quot;A Faekitty can live very well on flower nectar, but they really do the best on girl juices. They&#039;re always girls themselves, and their one purpose in life is to have as much sex as possible with each other and girls of other species to get as much of those juices to live on.&quot; She ran her free paw over her pointy muzzle. &quot;I believe they also use it to reproduce in a way, but I can&#039;t quite remember anymore. We only had one lesson about Faekitties in school, and that was Seasons and Seasons ago.&quot;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot; But that&#039;s why they can be such awesome little companions for a lonesome girl Mry,&quot; Fleetfire giggled. &quot;Like we told you and showed you, we can&#039;t really play with ourselves very much due to the size and shape of our bodies, so to get the best sex and have good orgasms, we need the help of another Mry. But when you can&#039;t find any to help you, for whatever reason, it&#039;s awesome if you have a Faekitty, because they will do it for you, and they hardly ever stop! They&#039;re almost indefatigable!&quot; She clapped her paws in enthusiasm. &quot; You know, that&#039;s totally what we should do today! We should go up the mountain and see if we can find Faekitties! If only so Lucie can see what they look like!&quot;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot; That sounds like a great idea,&quot; Cloudchaser agreed with a chortle.<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot;Oh yeah, I&#039;m in!&quot; Nightshade, the lanky black-furred Mry giggled.<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot;Aw, I wish I could come too!&quot; Golden Glory said with a bit of a pout. &quot; But I promised Morning Glory I&#039;d help her with her chores at the inn today.&quot;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot;Yeah, we can&#039;t come either,&quot; the twins Dartfoot and Fleetfoot said. &quot;Mom&#039;s taking us out into the valley for hunting and gathering. She said we&#039;ll probably go to the Big Lake to go fishing.&quot;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot;Ohh, but that&#039;s fun too!&quot; Fleetfire smiled. &quot;Hey, you should ask your mom to go by our place on your way out! Lucie caught a Hoppie yesterday, and we still have some of the stuff we cleaned out of it left! You could take that, maybe you&#039;ll catch Snapfish in the Big Lake with it!&quot;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot;Okay, thanks!&quot; both twin sisters beamed. &quot;We&#039;ll do that! If we catch Snapfish, we&#039;ll totally bring you one, Fleetfire!&quot;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot; Thanks!&quot; Fleetfire beamed in return. &quot;Snapfish is yum!&quot; She turned when she heard adult Mry approaching them from behind, sniffing with her whiskers twitching. &quot;Oh, Sunfire, Skyfire! I just told Fleetfoot and Dartfoot here they should ask their mom to drop by our house when they go out into the valley to get the leftovers from that Hoppie Lucie caught to fish with!&quot;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot; We heard that,&quot; Sunfire nodded with a soft chortle. &quot; Are you girls almost done here? Bathing time&#039;s over.&quot;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot;Yeah, we&#039;re done,&quot; Fleetfire nodded. &quot; But hey, Sunfire? Instead of going home now first, can I go with Lucie and Cloudchaser and Nightshade up on the mountain? We wanna see if we can find Faekitties! Lucie&#039;s never seen those!&quot;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot;Shouldn&#039;t you get dried off first, and put something on?&quot; Sunfire chuckled.<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot;Totally nope!&quot; Fleetfire giggled. &quot;C&#039;mon Sunfire, Sister Sun is already strong enough to dry us, and we&#039;ll be going through the forest and the bushes and all, so our clothes would only snag and rip and everything! We&#039;d be much better off just like this!&quot;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot;She&#039;s got a point, grouchybutt,&quot; Skyfire giggled.<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot;I suppose she does,&quot; Sunfire nodded with another chuckle. She touched a fingertip against Fleetfire&#039;s nose. &quot;Alright, you can go as you are, Fleety. Just make sure you&#039;re careful, alright? You know what happened last time!&quot;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot;Yeah yeah!&quot; Fleetfire giggled, batting a paw at Sunfire&#039;s finger. &quot;We&#039;ll totally be careful, Sunfire! I wouldn&#039;t lead Lucie into danger, nope!&quot;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot; That we know, and trust on, sweetie,&quot; Sunfire nodded with a smile. &quot;Don&#039;t stay out too long, okay? Once Sister Sun touches the treetops, you are to come home.&quot;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot;I will keep an eye on that, Sunfire,&quot; Cloudchaser promised with a giggle, having just gotten the same permission to go up the mountain from her older sister Moonchaser.<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot; And it sounds like a fair time,&quot; Forestshade, Nightshade&#039;s mother, said with a smile, still being hugged tightly by the small, lanky black Mry who had also just gotten permission to go. &quot; So you&#039;ve heard it too, Nightshade; once Sister Sun touches the treetops, you&#039;re to come home, understood?&quot;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot;I will, mom!&quot; Nightshade nodded happily.<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot; Can we bring home Faekitties too if we can catch any?&quot; Fleetfire giggled, alternating her sightless gaze between Skyfire and Sunfire with the most cutely begging expression she could bring to her face.<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot; That is a great big <em>if</em>,&quot; Skyfire giggled. &quot; You know how fast those little devils are!&quot;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot;True,&quot; Sunfire nodded. &quot;I don&#039;t see any problems in you girls bringing home any caught Faekitties, but I seriously doubt you&#039;d manage to catch any in the first place.&quot;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot;I know, I know,&quot; Fleetfire nodded with a giggle. &quot;I don&#039;t really think we could catch any either, but if we do, we&#039;ll totally bring them home! Yeah! Lucie is so awesome at everything, I&#039;m sure she could catch one!&quot;<br /><br />Lucinia blushed a bit as they waded to the shore of the Warm Lake to dry off with the towels they had brought. It wasn&#039;t before too long Fleetfire took her by a paw and pulled her away from the attentions of her older sisters, however, giggling cheerfully. Together with Cloudchaser and Nightshade, she led the way around the Warm Lake, crossing the stream on the right side and the last part of level ground at the foot of the mountains surrounding Viola Valley.<br /><br />Even if she couldn&#039;t see, it was clear Fleetfire still had vivid memories of how lovely the surroundings were. She picked her way along the trees, following a sort of path that ran right alongside the waterfall which gave Lucinia some of the most beautiful views Viola Valley had to offer. The mountain from which the waterfall welled up was a dormant volcano; its nutrient-rich soil combined with the ever-present mist of the tumbling water caused an abundance of plantlife; lush ferns, copious flowers, dense evergreens, even fruit-bearing vines.<br /><br />The gentle mist of the waterfall also caused a dewy glisten of dampness on the fur of the three Mry and the one Kattin making their way through the soft grass and thick moss, while the rays of the sun struck sparkles of amethyst, sapphire, ruby and emerald from the moisture and caused small rainbows across the more bare rocks directly aside the tumbling water. The rumble of the water did drown out most of the other sounds around, but as the four girls moved higher up the mountain, the noise of the water slowly grew fainter, allowing the songs of the Jorbles and Flitties in the trees to be heard.<br /><br />Lucinia couldn&#039;t take it all in quickly enough. Every turn, every step had another new thing of beauty to show; it almost seemed as if the mountain was doing its best to show Lucinia just how beautiful the land of Nezinoma Salis was compared to the desert land the Kattin originated from.<br /><br />The constant mewls and sound of surprise and delight coming from Lucinia at the things she saw quite amused the three Mry, who took turns in pointing out things of interest or beauty to the small Kattin. Before they knew it, they reached more level ground, nearing the summit of the mountain. Again Lucinia looked around with wide eyes - looking back the way they had come she could see the whole of Viola Valley laying below them, basking in the sun; looking the other way, she had a view over the fields and plains stretching out from the other side of the mountains for as far as she could see, dotted with forests and smaller clumps of trees, rutted trails meandering off into the distance, and a stream that welled up from the top of the mountain and wound its way down the outside, running towards a large lake that could be just seen reflecting the sunlight in the distance.<br /><br />Fleetfire, Cloudchaser and Nightshade let Lucinia look around for several moments in silence, taking in the magnificent sights spread out before her. Cloudchaser lay a paw on the Kattin&#039;s shoulder eventually, drawing Lucinia&#039;s attention with almost a shock.<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot;Quite a view from up here, isn&#039;t it?&quot;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot;Yes!&quot; Lucinia nodded with a soft gasp. &quot; Is so beautiful! So much... plants, and flowers, and water!&quot;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot;Speaking of water, can you see the Big Lake, Lucie?&quot; Fleetfire giggled as she reached out with a paw and slid it along Lucinia&#039;s other arm while stepping closer, pointing with her other paw. &quot; It should be somewhere over there, on clear days you can actually see it from here. Or well, part of it anyway. If you follow the stream that starts up here with your eyes, you should be able to see it.&quot;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot;Yes! I can see!&quot; Lucinia nodded, a paw at her forehead to shield her eyes from the sun. &quot; Is so sparkling!&quot;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot; It does catch the light of Sister Sun very well, yes,&quot; Fleetfire giggled. &quot; That is where Dartfoot and Fleetfoot said their mom would take them today to go fishing. It&#039;s fun, you know! There&#039;s such different fish in the Big Lake than there are in the ocean!&quot; She smiled with a soft purr. &quot;There&#039;s a smaller lake near it, too, though you can&#039;t see that from here. When I was a little kitten, Sunfire and Skyfire often took me there so we could catch Guppybups. I think I even still have the little net somewhere.&quot;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot; That is sweet,&quot; Lucinia said with a soft smile, tilting her head slightly. &quot; What is... Gup... py... bups?&quot;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot;They&#039;re totally neat little fishies!&quot; Nightshade piped up with a giggle. &quot;I have a glass box full of them! They are about as big as your finger, and they have a tail like a fan! All kinds of colors, too!&quot; She slid a paw along Lucinia&#039;s side. &quot; You should come see mine sometime!&quot;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot;I like! Yes!&quot; Lucinia nodded happily. &quot;Fish is nice! Is lots fish here?&quot;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot;Oh yes,&quot; Cloudchaser nodded. &quot; With it always being so warm here, the water in the streams and lakes here is warm too, and there&#039;s a lot of fish that like that a lot. You don&#039;t see many fish in our Warm Lake, but that&#039;s because of the waterfall and the current of the water, and because all of our town bathes in it every morning, but a lot of the streams and all the lakes and ponds here have a whole bunch of different kinds of fish in them.&quot; She wrapped an arm around Lucinia&#039;s shoulder and turned a bit, pointing with her free paw. &quot;See where the stream that starts over there splits off in the distance? By the time the water has reached there, it doesn&#039;t flow so quick anymore, and that fork in the stream is a great place to catch Slaboobles. They&#039;re sorta somewhat squishy fish about this big...&quot; She indicated about four inches with the thumb and finger of one paw, &quot;...and they&#039;re usually white with some orange and black, or yellow. Though in that stream I&#039;ve seen them with green and blue, too. And in the small pond that&#039;s near the Big Lake, you can find Fillymips! They&#039;re real delicate fish, but in that pond there&#039;s no larger predator fish so they do very well in that pond.&quot;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot;Yeah!&quot; Nightshade nodded. &quot; And the Big Lake has Speckleflutters! You have to dive under the water to find those though, they always stay near the bottom and hide between rocks and stuff. But they look real nifty! And if you can catch them, you&#039;re lucky! In the fish stores in Ocean City, you can buy fish for in glass boxes, to look at, you know, and Speckleflutters are like real expensive!&quot;<br /><br />Lucinia listened with rapt attention, nodding every now and then while she gazed out in the directions Cloudchaser and Fleetfire pointed at. She couldn&#039;t help giggling sometimes at the named of the different kinds of fish, eventually turning to look at Nightshade.<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot;Ocean City store... they sell fish, like, not for eat?&quot;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot;Indeed!&quot; Nightshade nodded with a smile. &quot;A lot of us like having small animals in the house to take care of, and having a big glass box with water and plants and fish in it to look at can be very relaxing! And besides, most of those kinds of fish are too pretty to eat, and too small too, you would hardly taste anything if you&#039;d eat one, hee!&quot;<br />Lucinia giggled as well, tilting her head a bit.<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot; Is Faekitties in store too?&quot;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot; Not anymore,&quot; Nightshade giggled. &quot; There used to be, but the store owner couldn&#039;t keep up with the demand and breeding them. There is still a store for grown-ups where they sell Faekitties, I think, but I&#039;m not sure, I never seen it.&quot;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot;We&#039;ll probably find some up here though!&quot; Fleetfire nodded, putting a paw on Lucinia&#039;s shoulder and pointing with her other paw. &quot;See the big crater over there? This mountain was a fire mountain, you know, that&#039;s why the waterfall and the Warm Lake are so warm. And see how there&#039;s like two streams starting near the crater? That one over there, it curves around the base of the crater, see? We should go over there, there&#039;s often wild Faekitties there.&quot;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot;I see, yes!&quot; Lucinia nodded, thoroughly impressed with Fleetfire&#039;s ability to know where the streams were and what they looked like. &quot; We catch Faekitties?&quot;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot;I doubt it!&quot; Fleetfire giggled. &quot;Like Skyfire said; they&#039;re superfast! One moment you&#039;re looking at one, the next moment you reach out and shoom! It&#039;s gone! And we didn&#039;t bring our nets or anything, either. But we can still see if we can find any!&quot;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot;I like! Yes! I want see what they look like!&quot; Lucinia nodded happily.<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot;Let&#039;s go then!&quot; Fleetfire smiled brightly, waving her paw. &quot; We gotta be like real real quiet though!&quot;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot; So stop shouting and start sneaking, stripeybutt,&quot; Cloudchaser sniggered.<br /><br />Fleetfire giggled and stuck out her tongue in Cloudchaser&#039;s direction. They actually managed to stay quite soundless in their movements, blending with the nature rather than disturbing it as they crept and sneaked closer towards the crater, crossing the first narrow stream and moving in a half-circle along the shore of the second stream.<br /><br />A large clump of enormous ferns provided plenty cover for the three Mry and the Kattin as they reached the bend in the stream. Huddling down behind and between the ferns, they peeked out between the large fronds, the three Mry laying on their feral chests and tummies with paws tucked beneath them, Lucinia merely squatting and supporting herself with one paw. Nightshade drew the Kattin&#039;s attention to an opening between several of the fronds.<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot; This is our lookout spot for when we went looking for Faekitties,&quot; she whispered softly. &quot; You can easily hide in here and look out through that gap, see?&quot;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot; The ferns have gotten a lot bigger since last time though,&quot; Fleetfire whispered with a soft giggle. &quot; But that&#039;s good, because Cloudchaser&#039;s butt has gotten bigger too so she needs the extra hiding room.&quot;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot;Heeey!&quot; Cloudchaser protested with a giggle, trying to keep her voice down. &quot;You&#039;re lucky we have to be so quiet, stripeybutt. Otherwise I would get you for that.&quot;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot;What&#039;re you gonna do, sit on me, miss bigbutt?&quot; Fleetfire giggled softly.<br />Lucinia did her best to not giggle too much as the two Mry teased each other. They were so funny together! She suddenly whipped her head around though when Nightshade quite unexpectedly placed a paw over Fleetfire&#039;s mouth and let out a soft hiss.<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot;Ssshh! Look... there&#039;s one there,&quot; she whispered very softly, flicking her ears to point at the gap between the fern fronds.<br /><br />All four of them fell utterly silent and started peering intently through the gaps between the fronds. Lucinia actually had to bite her lip pretty hard to not let out a sound when she saw it.<br /><br />It looked absolutely adorable. A tiny little quadruped cat, a bit over three inches in size, sitting on a large flower in a patch of flowers with its head bent down to lick at the nectar in the flower&#039;s heart. The wings lightly undulated as the tiny cat sat on the flower, its little tail swishing to maintain its balance as the flower gently swayed in the wind.<br /><br />A rustle sounded in the huge bush of ferns at the three Mry and the Kattin stirring when after a few moments, a second of the petite creatures appeared, fluttering from behind a rock near where the stream welled up and landing on another flower near the one the green one was sitting on. The second one was a deep clear yellow in color, a solid color all over the tiny body, with smaller, more rounded butterfly wings in a soft light purple tint. It looked around once or twice before flattening itself down on the flower and crawling closer towards the middle so it could lick at the nectar.<br /><br />In the fern bush, Lucinia held a paw over her muzzle to stay quiet, although her whispered, gleeful tone could still be heard by the three Mry.<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot; Is so cuuute! So small!&quot;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot; They are adorable, aren&#039;t they?&quot; Fleetfire whispered very softly. &quot; What colors is that one Nightshade saw?&quot;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot;There&#039;s two now,&quot; Nightshade whispered. &quot; One is light green with faint darker green stripes and yellow wings with brown lines in it. The other one is dark yellow with light purple wings.&quot;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot;Cute!&quot; Fleetfire whispered with a very soft giggle. &quot; You reckon we could sneak up on them to catch one?&quot;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot;I don&#039;t think we could,&quot; Cloudchaser whispered, chuckling. &quot;They&#039;re a few yards ahead of us in the big patch of white flowers. They&#039;d be gone before we even get out of these ferns.&quot;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot;Let Lucie try it,&quot; Fleetfire giggled softly. &quot;Surely you must be real good at sneaking all without sound, Lucie, right?&quot;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot;I... not know,&quot; Lucinia whispered. &quot;Sun Fire, she show me, but...&quot;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot;Well, you definitely have a very big advantage over us, Lucinia, you know,&quot; Cloudchaser whispered. &quot; You can stay hidden in the grass much, much better than we can because you don&#039;t have the extra lower body like we do.&quot;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot;That&#039;s true,&quot; Nightshade nodded. &quot; If you crawl on your tummy, you would be like... like a Hissy. Yeah.&quot;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot; You should totally try it, Lucie,&quot; Fleetfire urged, holding a paw over her muzzle to stifle a soft giggle. &quot; If nothing else, even if you won&#039;t manage to catch those Faekitties, at least when you sneak up to them you will give Cloudchaser and Nightshade a lovely view of your butt.&quot;<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot;Eep! Fleet fire! No!&quot; Lucinia mewled, blushing brightly enough for the rosy glow to show through the dark brown fur in her face.<br /><br />The three Mry couldn&#039;t help bursting into giggles. Eventually, Lucinia joined in the giggles as well, batting a paw at Fleetfire&#039;s somewhat fluffy tail for teasing her like that. Of course, with their giggles being breaking the silence they had tried to maintain, the two tiny feline creatures they had spotted vanished in an instant, leaving behind just the flowers slowly bobbing in the breeze.<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot;Aww, they&#039;re gone,&quot; Cloudchaser said as she looked out through the gap between the fern fronds again.<br />&nbsp;&nbsp; &quot;Well, we did laugh kinda loudly,&quot; Fleetfire shrugged. &quot;I don&#039;t know if we&#039;ll see any more either, because we&#039;ve been kinda loud now. So hey! Who wants to go look for fishies in the streams? That&#039;ll be fun too!&quot;<br /><br />Cloudchaser, Nightshade and Lucinia agreed cheerfully. Leaving the shelter of the huge fern bush, they made their way over to the stream that welled up at the side of the crater and flowed down along the outside of the mountain. Their cheerful voices and happy giggles carried through the air as they played and explored. All in all, it was a wonderful day. And they had even partially succeeded in their quest as well; they had found Faekitties so Lucinia had been able to see what those amazing tiny creatures looked like!<br /></span>",
