It was just going to be one of those overly perfect days again, like they can only occur in the Kingdom of Caring. Since the beautiful weather had everything perfectly calm on Earth, the Care Bears had all the time to play and have fun. Infected by the nice weather, Champ Bear and Swiftheart Rabbit had decided to treat Hugs and Tugs to a trip to the beach. While Swiftheart was loading a large sunshade, a picnic-basket and surfboards into a Cloudsmobile, Champ picked up the two younger Care Bears.\n \"Hey Hugs! Tugs!\" he said. \"Wanna go to the beach with me and Swiftheart?\"\n \"The beach?!\" Tugs said. \"Yeah, great!\"\n \"Oh goodie goodie gosh!\" Hugs said, clapping her paws. \"That'll be so much fun! We can build sand castles!\"\n \"Let's go then, sports fans!\" Champ said cheerily. \"Swiftheart is waiting for us in the Cloudsmobile over there!\" He looked with surprise at the Cloudsmobile he was pointing at standing right next to him. \"Uh, I mean, right here.\"\n \"Are we going?\" Swiftheart said from behind the wheel with a giggle.\n \"Yeah, we sure are, sports fan,\" Champ grinned.\n\nWhile Hugs and Tugs climbed onto the backseat, Champ hopped into the Cloudsmobile over the door, falling down on the passenger's seat. Swiftheart hit the GO-button, and the Cloudsmobile spurted off. Driving fast, like she always ran, Swiftheart steered the Cloudsmobile down to a small, deserted island somewhere down on Earth. A lush jungle covered most of the island, and the beaches were of sparkling white sand, where the deep blue surf gently lapped at. Having set the Cloudsmobile down in the sand, Swiftheart started unloading the things they had brought, with Champ Bear's help. Hugs and Tugs climbed out of the car and looked around them happily.\n \"Oh, goodie goodie gosh!\" Hugs cried out. \"It looks like a pirate's island!\"\nTugs put a plastic pail on his head and waved a small plastic shovel around.\n \"Harrr! Beware, matey!\" he roared in a pirate kind of voice. \"We must not let these landlubbers find our treasure!\"\n \"A treasure?! Oh wow-ee!\" Hugs said, clapping her paws. \"Do you think there's a real pirate's treasure here, Tugs?\"\nTugs stopped waving the plastic shovel around and looked at Hugs, right away seeing nothing anymore since the plastic pail on his head sank down over his eyes. He pushed it back on his head and looked at Hugs.\n \"Gee, I dunno, Hugs. Hey Champ, do you think real pirates hid a treasure here sometime?\"\n \"Maybe we'll find a treasure map!\" Hugs cheered.\n \"I wouldn't count on it, sports fans,\" Champ smiled. \"Pirates burying treasures on deserted islands and then leaving a map behind is mostly just a myth. What really happened in those days...\"\nHe stopped when Swiftheart put a paw on his arm, smiling.\n \"Let them, Champ,\" she smiled softly. \"Just play along.\"\nChamp also sent the blue bunny a smile, and turned back to Hugs and Tugs.\n \"Well, like I said, what really happened is that they took the map with them, not leave it behind on the island where they hid their treasure. Look, often the island itself was on the map, and imagine the pirates wouldn't be able to find the island back? Then they would have lost their treasure too. So they mostly took the map with them. Sometimes though, when times turned bad for them, they would put the map in a bottle and throw it into the ocean. Then it would wash ashore somewhere, and whoever finds the bottle can then find the treasure.\"\n \"Wow-ee!\" Hugs cheered. \"Let's go look for bottles with treasure-maps in them, Tugs!\"\n \"Don't go into the jungle by yourselves now,\" Champ warned them with a smile while putting up the sunshade. \"We wouldn't want you to get lost.\"\n \"Aww, don't worry,\" Tugs grinned, doing a bit of shadow-boxing. \"We're big bears. We can look after ourselves. We won't get lost.\"\n \"We know you are big bears, Tugs,\" Swiftheart giggled, spreading out a cloud blanket on the sand. \"But why don't the two of you come over here first and have a bite to eat? Then you'll become even -bigger- bears!\"\n \"That's a good idea, Swiftheart,\" Champ said. \"C'mon you two, we brought all kinds of yummy things.\"\n \"Double goodie goodie gosh!\" Hugs yodeled.\n\nTogether with Tugs, she walked over to the cloud blanket and sat down at it, between Champ and Swiftheart. The blue bunny unpacked the picnic-basket, bringing forth a pitcher of cool lemonade, sandwiches and tasty sweet fruit-salads. For a while the four of them ate and drank in silence, listening to the gentle murmur of the surf lapping at the beach, and the chirping birds in the forest behind them. When they were done, Hugs jumped up happily.\n \"Now, let's go look for bottles with treasure-maps in them, Tugs!\"\nThe lightblue bear also jumped up, and the two of them set off across the beach. Champ and Swiftheart looked after them with a smile.\n \"They're still so full of energy,\" Swiftheart said.\n \"Yeah,\" Champ Bear chuckled. \"They're big, full-grown Care Bears now, but still with a youthful touch. Well!\" he grinned, walking to the Cloudsmobile and taking something out of the trunk. \"Wanna play some badminton, sports fan?\"\n \"Any time!\" Swiftheart giggled, jumping up. \"I bet I can beat you!\"\n \"Let's just see, bunny-cousin,\" Champ said with a grin.\n\nHe set up a net in the sand, and started playing some badminton with Swiftheart. Somewhere behind them, Hugs and Tugs were busy scouting the beach, but they had found nothing yet. Well, a lot of pretty seashells and such, but no bottles with maps in them. After a while, they gave up and started building a sand castle. Every now and then they looked at Champ and Swiftheart playing badminton. The golden Care Bear and the blue Care Bear Cousin were a great match for each other. Champ of course was good in any kind of sport he played, but what Swiftheart lacked in techniques, she compensated with her speed. At one point in the game, Champ hit the shuttle over the net hard, and Swiftheart put her superfast legs into reverse to catch it. She made it, and she hit the shuttle back across the net really hard too, and really high. Champ looked up at it, walking backwards to catch it. Suddenly though, his left foot got caught behind something, and he fell over on his back on the sand with a thud.\n \"Ooofff!\" he said, shaking his head. He squeezed his eyes a bit when the shuttle hit him right on his golden heart-shaped nose. \"Ouch!\"\nHugs, Tugs and Swiftheart all ran up to him.\n \"Heavens Champ, are you alright?\" Swiftheart said.\n \"Did you fall?\" Tugs asked with a grin.\nHugs looked at what it was that had made Champ stumble, and she clapped her paws happily.\n \"Oh goodie, Champ, look, you found it! Well done!\"\n\nThe two boy bears and the girl bunny looked at what Hugs was looking at. The pink bear carefully dug into the sand with her paws, revealing an old translucent green bottle with a cork in it. Through the green glass was clearly visible that the bottle had a rolled-up paper stuck in it.\n \"Woooww, Chammmp,\" Tugs said impressedly. \"You actually found a bottle with a map in it. That's so great!\"\n \"Uh... Hehe... Well...\" Champ grinned a bit goofily, rubbing his head with a paw. \"Yeah, you can safely leave that to me, sports fans.\"\n \"Listen to him!\" Swiftheart laughed. \"You only found it because you stumbled over it! Oh yeah, Champ Bear, our great treasure-finder, alright!\"\nChamp sent the blue bunny a slightly disgruntled look while pulling the cork out of the bottle's neck.\n \"Hm, yes, well, let's just see what we have here, alright? It doesn't necessarily have to be a treasure-map, maybe it's just a letter or something.\"\n\nHe shook the rolled-up paper out of the bottle, unrolled it and looked at it. Hugs and Tugs crawled up close to him and looked along with him over his shoulders. On the paper was a drawing of the island they were on, with a dotted line leading up to a big X.\n \"It [i]is[/i] a treasure-map,\" the golden Care Bear said, slightly amazed.\n \"Yeah, check it out,\" Swiftheart said, looking from the paper to the forest behind them, and back. \"That line leads across that path in the jungle over there.\"\n \"Oh goodie goodie gosh!\" Hugs cheered. \"Let's go find the treasure!\"\n \"Whoa, hold it, sports fans,\" Champ said, looking at the paper. \"This looks like a real tough hike. It could be dangerous.\" He rose up and put a paw on Hugs' and Tugs' shoulders. \"Swiftheart and I will check it out, you stay here and wait for us. You'll be safe here on the beach. Grams would never forgive us if anything happened to you. Just wait here for Swiftheart and me to return.\" He turned to the blue lapine Care Bear Cousin. \"Whaddaya say we go check this out, cousin?\"\n \"Sure!\" Swiftheart said.\n \"Can we really not come along, Champ?\" Tugs said.\n \"Pleeeeeze?\" Hugs begged.\n \"No sports fans, like I said, this could be dangerous,\" Champ said, friendly but firmly.\n \"He is right, Hugs and Tugs,\" Swiftheart smiled. \"You had better wait here for us. You are safe here. It's like Champ says, Grams would never forgive us if anything bad happened to you.\"\n \"But we are big bears!\" Tugs said.\n \"And that is the reason why we trust you to be by yourselves all the time while Swiftheart and me check this map out,\" Champ said with a grin. \"Now, are you coming, cousin?\"\n \"Sure thing!\" Swiftheart said.\n\nShe and Champ walked to the path that led into the forest from the beach, leaving Hugs and Tugs at the Cloudsmobile in disappointment. The pink and the lightblue bear looked after Champ and Swiftheart until they had disappeared between the trees and bushes. Hugs sat down on one of the Cloudsmobile's fenders and put her head in her paws.\n \"Gee, they think we can't do anything,\" she said disappointedly.\n \"Hey Hugs, I know!\" Tugs said, raising a paw. \"We'll show them we're big bears! We are going to find that treasure before they do!\"\n \"Oh, goodie goodie gosh!\" Hugs said happily, sliding off the Cloudsmobile's fender. \"That is a [i]wonderful[/i] idea, Tugs!\"\nTugs took Hugs by a paw and pointed a finger into the air.\n \"Come on, Hugs! Hugs and Tugs Bear, the great Care Bear treasure-hunters, are going to find that treasure, even without the map!\"\nHolding paws, the pink and the lightblue bear ran into the forest, across the path that Champ and Swiftheart had also taken.\n\nThe golden Care Bear and the blue Care Bear Cousin had in the mean time already followed the dotted line on the map to just and about the middle of the island. There were standing on a big open spot in the jungle, near a mountain where a waterfall tumbled down from, splashing and splattering in a lake at the foot of the mountain. Standing on the shore of the lake, Champ looked at the waterfall, then at the map, and then scratched the top of his head with his free paw.\n \"Gee, whoever drew this map must have made a real silly mistake. The map says that the treasure is buried... under the waterfall? That can't be right.\"\n \"Ohh, don't be so silly!\" Swiftheart tittered. \"Of course that treasure is not [i]buried under[/i] the waterfall! I bet it's [i]hidden behind[/i] the waterfall!\"\n \"Heyyy!\" Champ said, looking up. \"You are right, sports fan! That must be it! Come on, let's go look!\"\n\nHe and Swiftheart walked along the shore of the lake, towards the waterfall. Coming closer, they could see that there seemed to be some sort of a cave behind the curtain of water.\n \"There's something there!\" Swiftheart said. \"But how are we going to get there?\"\n \"I know!\" Champ said, pointing into the lake. \"We'll go over those rocks!\"\n\nHe started carefully jumping to a few rocks sticking above the surface of the water. Landing safely, he looked around, and jumped to another rock, which was closer to the waterfall. From that rock, he looked around to Swiftheart, who was still standing on the shore, preparing to jump to the rocks too.\n \"Better be careful, Swiftheart,\" he said. \"These rocks are rather... slippe... reee-heee-heeeee!\"\n\nWith legs flailing in all directions and waving his arms wildly, Champ was desperately trying to regain the balance he had suddenly lost on the slippery rock he was standing on. He didn't manage. With an elegant dive (about as elegant as a sack of sand thrown from a skyscraper), he fell over backwards into the water with a loud splash. When he surfaced again, he was right under the waterfall, which splashed apart on his head. Swiftheart was doubled up with laughter on the shore, holding her paws on her tummy while squealing in hilarity.\n \"O-o-oh yeah, I can see-ee-ee that!\" she hiccuped laughing.\n \"Hrm,\" Champ grunted, wading out from under the waterfall and climbing back onto the rock he had fallen from.\n\nHe shook himself and looked back at the cave that was slightly visible behind the curtain of water. Carefully hopping to a few more rocks, he got close enough to look into it. Behind him, Swiftheart also jumped from rock to rock, ending up at Champ's heels.\n \"Right,\" Champ said. \"We've gotta be careful. Now, if we jump to that spot on the left there, we should be able to get into that cave. Follow me?\"\n \"I follow you, cousin,\" Swiftheart said, still giggling a bit over Champ's dive from just now.\n \"Alright then,\" Champ said. \"Here we go!\"\nHe bent through his knees, looked at the entrance of the cave, strained his muscles, and leapt. The moment he landed, he slid out of sight behind the waterfall.\n \"Whooooooo!\" Swiftheart could hear his voice quickly disappearing behind the curtain of water.\n \"Champ!\" she called out. \"Are you alright?!\"\n\nShe quickly leapt into the cave herself, immediately discovering the cause of Champ sliding out of sight. The rocky floor of the cave was covered in moss and soaked through from the water of the waterfall. The moment her feet touched the moss-overgrown floor, Swiftheart slid into the cave herself, with incredible speed. She slid right past Champ, who had managed to get a hold of a rock, and disappeared from sight into a hole in the ground.\n \"Oof!\" her voice came from the hole a moment later.\n \"Swiftheart!\" Champ said. \"Is everything okay, sports fan?!\"\n\nHe carefully crawled across the moss-overgrown floor on paws and knees, towards the hole Swiftheart had disappeared into. Looking over the edge, he saw the blue bunny looking up at him. The hole wasn't very deep, but deep enough for Swiftheart [i]just[/i] not being able to reach the edge, not even when she jumped.\n \"I'm fine, but I can't get out, Champ,\" she said. \"Throw me a rope or something.\"\n \"A rope?\" Champ said. \"Where do you suppose I magic a rope from? There's nothing here in this cave.\"\n \"Well, surely you must have [i]something[/i] at paw that's long and flexible?\" Swiftheart said. \"Or at least long enough for me to grab and climb out of this hole with?\"\n \"Well...\" Champ looked down his body with a grin. \"I might have something alright, Swiftheart.\"\nFor a moment he considered, knowing what his plan was going to lead to. But heck, Hugs and Tugs were still safely on the beach, and no-one could see him and Swiftheart in that cave, so why not?\n \"Hurry up then!\" Swiftheart said. \"I wanna get out of this hole!\"\n \"Champ Bear coming to the rescue, sports fan,\" the golden Care Bear grinned. \"Just a minute.\"\n\nHe lowered himself on the floor of the cave, until he was lying flat on his tummy. Then he started crawling sideways, positioning himself over the opening of the hole. With his feet leaning on one side and his paws gripping the other side, Champ hung his body over the opening of the hole and let his golden dick dangle into it. Swiftheart giggled merrily when she saw what Champ was doing.\n \"Oh, [i]that[/i] should surely help, Champ.\"\n\nShe spit into her paws, jumped up and grabbed Champ's golden dick. She just managed to reach it, and she quickly leaned her feet against the wall of the hole. Champ groaned a bit, and he gripped the moss on the floor even tighter with his paws. Swiftheart tried to walk along the wall of the hole while holding herself up by Champ's dick, but her feet kept slipping away. Champ trembled all over his body, and he clenched his teeth while sweat started pearling on his head.\n \"P... please hurry, Swiftheart,\" he groaned. \"I don't know if I can hold this for much longer.\"\n \"Well, I hate to be a rotten egg, but...\" Swiftheart said, struggling. \"It's just that your dick isn't quite long enough, Champ. I can't get a good hold.\"\n \"If you stay there hanging on it with all your weight like that, it'll be much longer in a minute,\" Champ groaned.\nSwiftheart giggled a bit. And she giggled even harder when an idea popped into her blue bunny-head.\n \"Hey wait, I have an idea, Champ,\" she said.\n\nPulling herself up a bit, Swiftheart extended her head and stuck out her tongue, tickling Champ's golden dick with it. The golden Care Bear groaned again, but this time not because of the efforts he was doing to help Swiftheart out of the hole. The blue bunny extended her head a little more, managing to close her lips over the tip of Champ's dick, and she started softly suckling on it while her tongue played around and over it. The cave they walked through slowly tapered into a tunnel, but after some time of walking, Champ and Swiftheart found the tunnel eventually widened into a large cave again. And they both stood stock-still upon entering the large cave. A hole high in the ceiling let in the sunlight from outside, and it appeared there was a large underground lake inside the mountain, a lake on the surface of which a large wood ship was floating, a ship with three masts with rolled-up sails on it, and large heaps on the deck which glittered in the light of the sun.
     "Wow, look at that!" Swiftheart called out. "A pirate's ship!"
Upon Swiftheart's calling out, one of the glittering heaps on the ship's deck stirred, and the blue bunny and the golden bear gasped with surprise again when they saw Hugs and Tugs sticking their heads out of the heap of golden coins and jewels.
     "Hey look, it's Champ and Swiftheart, Tugs!" Hugs said cheerily.
     "Yeah, so they have finally found the treasure too," Tugs said with a grin. "But we did first, Hugs."
     "Hugs? Tugs?" Champ stammered, slowly walking up to the ship. "What are you two doing here?"
     "We found the treasure!" Hugs and Tugs said in unison.
Swiftheart also stepped up to the ship and boarded it, looking around at the heaps of golden coins and gems and jewels with big round eyes.
     "Wow, I almost can't believe it," she gasped. "Look at all this stuff." She looked around at Champ. "How are we ever going to get all that to Care a Lot?"
     "We will need the help of all the others for that, so we'll have to come back here later," Champ said. "And so that we don't forget where this island is exactly..." He beamed a golden cup with a red heart on it from his tummy symbol and put it on one of the heaps of coins and jewels on the ship's deck. The cup gave off a soft, diffused golden glow. "There. And you two..." He turned to Hugs and Tugs. "I am so proud of you! You have certainly proven that you are big bears now, and that you can do anything! Well done, both of you."
     "Thanks, Champ," Hugs smiled.
     "Yeah, thanks, Champ," Tugs said with a grin. "We really can do anything."
Hugs giggled loudly at that, and Champ grinned a bit.
     "Tell me one thing; how did you get in here without us noticing it?" he asked.
     "We went around the mountain and came in through there," Tugs pointed at the side of the cave where the lake disappeared.
     "Of course, that makes sense," Swiftheart said. "That lake on the side where we went in goes around the mountain and enters it from that side. After all, there had to be some way in which that ship got in here, right?"
     "Absolutely right," Champ nodded. "Well then, we'll go outside through that way too. It seems safer than going past the waterfall."
     "That's for sure!" Swiftheart laughed.

Champ grinned a bit, and he led the way for Swiftheart, Hugs and Tugs out of the mountain, using the route Hugs and Tug had taken to get inside it. Once outside, the four of them walked around the mountain to the side with the waterfall, and from there back down the path to the beach. As Champ had said, they would come back to the island to collect the treasure some other time, since they would need the help of the entire Care Bear Family. So the three Care Bears and the one Care Bear Cousin now just went back to the beach to do what they had gone to that island for in the first place: having fun.
