And if you don't want you childhood memories raped; don't read this!", "writing": "On a usual bright and sunny morning in Care a Lot, we find Harmony Bear sitting in a comfy garden chair on the front porch of her cloud cottage. On a small table next to the chair are several items, under which were a glass of milk, a platter of small mini-muffins, a wind-light, a small cloud-o-blaster and several sheets of blank paper, held down by a big rubber eraser. Against the wall of the cloud cottage, next to the front door, was leaning an acoustic guitar. The small cloud-o-blaster was playing \"Touch me when we're dancing\" by the Carpenters. Harmony was quietly humming along while jotting things on a sheet of paper with a pencil.\n \"[i]Hmmhmhm, touch me, when we're dancing, you know you've got that loving touch... Touch me, when we're dancing, I wanna feel you when[/i]... Oh heck, now I'm writing [i]that[/i] down! Sheesh!\"\n\nShe took the eraser and rubbed it over the paper a couple of times. Then she put it down on the loose sheets of blank paper again and returned to jotting things down. She stopped singing along with the Carpenters though, having found out now that subconsciously, you write down what you're saying. Every now and then she took the glass of milk and sipped from it, and she put a mini-muffin into her mouth. Now she couldn't sing along with the cloud-o-blaster anymore anyway, so she got on a bit better with whatever it was she was writing down. Just as she took the glass of milk and lifted it to her lips again, the ears of a lightgreen bear appeared over the porch rail right behind her chair, and the next moment the entire lightgreen Care Bear jumped up, merrily yelling \"BOO!!\". With a startle, Harmony ducked over forwards a little, dousing herself with the milk from her glass. Dripping with milk, she rose back up and looked around, seeing Surprise Bear laughing at her at the porch rail.\n \"Hahahee, surprised you, didn't I?\" the lightgreen bear chuckled.\n \"Surprised me?\" Harmony said, wiping the milk from her face with a grin. \"You scared the stars out of me, you moron! Why are you doing that all the time, anyway?\"\n \"It's so funny!\" Surprise Bear giggled. She leaned over the porch rail, trying to look at the sheet of paper Harmony was holding. \"Hey, what're you writing down there?\"\n \"I'm trying to write a song,\" Harmony said, wiping a few last drops of milk from her face.\n \"Wow,\" Surprise said. \"What kind of song? What's it gonna be called?\"\nHarmony grinned a bit evilly.\n \"I ain't telling you, it's a surprise.\"\n \"Oh goodie, I looove surprises!\" the lightgreen bear giggled. \"When will it be ready, Harmony?\"\n \"That's for me to know and for you to find out,\" Harmony said with a giggle. \"And if you would now excuse me, Surprise, then maybe I can get back to work again.\"\n \"Oh sure, sure,\" the lightgreen Care Bear giggled.\n\nShe left Harmony's cloud cottage skipping. The lavender bear looked after her with a chuckle, ran her paw over her face a last time, and then turned her attention back to her paper. The cloud-o-blaster had in the meantime started playing Johnny Logan's \"Hold me now\", and again Harmony couldn't stop herself from softly singing along.\n \"[i]Hooold me now, don't cry, don't say a word just, hooold me now, and I, will know though we're apart, we'll always be together, forever in love... Whaddaya say when words are not enough. Time, time will be kind once we're apart. And your tears, tears will have no place in your heart. I wish I, I could say how much I miss you when you're gone. How my love, for you, will go on and on and... Hooold me now, don't cry, don't say a word just, hooold me now, and try, to understand that, I hope at last you found, what you've been searching for, and though I won't...[/i]\"\n\nVery suddenly Harmony stopped singing and looked down on her sheet of paper with a frown. Again she took the big eraser and vigorously rubbed it over the paper, because again she had unnoticedly been writing down the lyrics of \"Hold me now\" instead of the ones she was inventing herself. How she by the way ever was able to compose lyrics to a song while singing along with a completely different song was something that always drew a lot of respect for the lavender Care Bear from the other Care Bears. It was part of Harmony's power, being able to concentrate on two different things at once, or at least where it concerned music.\n\nWhile the cloud-o-blaster now softly sounded Kansas' \"Dust in the wind\", Harmony took another mini-muffin (probably to stop herself from singing along again) and started writing on the sheet of paper again. Quite soon she turned it over and went on writing on the back, every now and then turning the paper back to look a what she had already written and nodding approvingly. After some time however she looked up when a voice rang out from quite close by.\n \"Heya sis, what're you so busy on?\"\nA smile slid over Harmony's face when she saw Opposite Bear leaning on the rail of the porch with both arms, looking at her. She really liked the black and white Care Bear; he was the embodiment of what she herself tried to make people clear: differences brought together in harmony create something beautiful.\n \"Hi Opposite. I'm writing a song.\"\n \"Cool,\" the black and white bear smiled. \"Getting anywhere?\"\n \"Yes, I think I'm almost done now,\" Harmony said with a smile, looking back at the paper again.\n \"Cool,\" Opposite Bear said again. \"Can I hear it?\"\nHarmony smiled deeply.\n \"You'll have to bring up just a tad of patience more, Opposite, until I'm totally done with it, okay?\"\n \"Oh, okay,\" the black and white Care Bear said. \"Can I sit with you while I wait?\"\n \"By all means,\" Harmony smiled. Opposite sank down in a garden chair close to the one Harmony was sitting in, and the lavender bear took the plate of mini-muffins and presented it to him. \"Want a muffin?\"\n \"Thanks,\" Opposite said with a smile.\n\nHe took one of the mini-muffins and nibbled on it, meanwhile looking at Harmony putting the plate back down on the small table, turning back to her paper and slowly chewing the end of her pencil, her brow wrinkled a bit in thought. Then her expression brightened, and she jotted something down on the paper again. She kept at it for a few moments more, but then she stuck the pencil behind her left ear and held the paper straight up in front of her face, looking at it with a smile.\n \"Yes, I think that'll do just fine,\" she said softly.\n \"So you're done now, sis?\" Opposite asked with a merry grin.\n \"I do think I'm finished, yes,\" Harmony smiled. She looked up at Opposite and pointed. \"Would you be so kind to hand me that guitar over there by the door, Opposite?\"\n \"Sure,\" the black and white Care Bear said.\n\nHe rose up from the garden chair, stepped to the front door of Harmony's cloud cottage and took the acoustic guitar that was leaning against the wall. Harmony took it over from him, checked the strings of it and re-tuned two of them. Then she pushed the \"stop\"-button on her cloud-o-blaster and started playing the guitar, singing the song she had just written. The chorus was: \"I miss me, I miss me but I am underway. I miss me, where I depart or stay. Nowhere home, at my place, or where I would just like to be. Wherever I am, I miss me.\" When the lavender bear had finished her song, she looked at Opposite with a smile.\n \"What do you think?\"\n \"If I'm honest, sis?\" the black and white bear said with grin. \"I really liked it, but it did sound a bit egotistical. \"I miss [i]me[/i]\"? I dunno quite what to think of that. But other than that, it sounded very good. It has a nice tempo to it. Happy and upbeat.\"\n \"Thank you,\" Harmony said with a smile, leaning the guitar against a side of her garden chair. \"That [i]was[/i] the intention.\"\n \"Then you have succeeded in your intention,\" Opposite grinned. \"I liked the rhythm of it. You really have a way with music, sis.\"\n \"Thanks again,\" Harmony smiled. She rose up from her garden chair while taking her empty glass from the small table next to it. \"Can I get you anything to drink? I'm going to refill my glass.\"\n \"Some cool, refreshing lemonade on this hot summer day would be nice,\" Opposite smiled.\n \"Be right up,\" Harmony said with a giggle.\n\nShe stepped through the front door, disappearing inside her cloud cottage. A few moments later she reappeared, carrying two glasses this time, one filled with milk and one filled with dark pink lemonade. She handed the latter to Opposite and sat down in her garden chair again. Opposite sipped the lemonade, and nodded appreciatively.\n \"Mh, very nice. Made it yourself?\"\n \"No, Share made it,\" Harmony smiled. \"She's so good at that.\"\n \"Agreed,\" Opposite said, taking another sip. \"This is really good.\"\nThe two bears sat in silence for a while, sipping their drinks and looking at the colorful birds and butterflies flying by.\n \"So,\" Harmony started after some time. \"Since you live so close to the Forest of Feelings, can you tell me what's going on there lately? Are they making any progress in repairing the damage?\"\n \"Oh they are,\" Opposite nodded. \"The slightly damaged houses, like Loyalheart's for instance, have all been completely repaired now, and the houses that had been washed away totally and needed to be rebuilt are really taking on shape. Brightheart's workshop also is completely repaired already, and they're working on his house now. There's been a violent row between Frolicheart and Proudheart, but even that is repaired now.\"\n \"What?\" Harmony said surprised. \"They had a fight? Those two? How did that ever happen? If there are two who are really in love with each other if you ask me, it's them.\"\nOpposite raised both his paws.\n \"I really don't know the exact details, sis, so I won't go telling you speculations,\" he said. \"All I can tell you is that things have been quite rough between them, and that everything is solved now.\"\nHarmony shook her head.\n \"Sheesh, I can't believe it. I just can't picture those two fighting together. I always thought they made such a cute couple.\" She breathed deeply. \"Hm, well, but you say it's solved now, so I guess I won't go breaking my head over it. After all, it's not like there's [i]never[/i] a fight in the Kingdom of Caring. We all disagree with someone else sometimes.\"\n \"True,\" Opposite nodded. \"Just the other day I was talking to Secret, and...\" He smirked a bit. \"Or well, [i]talking[/i]...\"\nHarmony giggled.\n \"Oh yeah, you can hardly call a conversation with Secret [i]talking[/i] with her. She never says anything. She's so afraid she might sometime let something slip that might have been secret that she decided not to speak at all. I think it's adorable!\"\n \"Well, there you have it, I disagree with you on that,\" Opposite said with a grin. \"I don't think it's adorable, I think it's really weird, and it can be quite exasperating too. How are you ever supposed to get wise from her mime-acts? Surely she can speak? I mean, she even mimes when she greets you. And for as far as I know, \"hello\" is not a secret nobody is supposed to know.\"\nHarmony laughed cheerily.\n \"Oh Opposite, come on now. Of course you are entitled to an opinion, but you shouldn't think of it like that. We all have our own quirks and idiosyncracies. That's what makes us all so beautifully different from each other! Think about it, if we all would be exactly the same, life would be pretty dull, right?\"\n \"I guess,\" Opposite said with a grin. His eye fell on the CD-case that was lying next to the cloud-o-blaster. The cover sported a picture of some singing kittens, and a line of colorful text saying \"Just Some Nice Songs, volume 2\". He picked it up with a look of surprise. \"Hey, what's this for a kind of CD, sis? It doesn't exactly look like the kind you'd find in the music store.\"\n \"Very likely, because I made it myself,\" Harmony smiled.\n \"Really, now?\" Opposite said. He turned the CD-case over to look at the back. That was just rainbow-colored, with a summary of track titles and performing artists. \"Wow, a varied ensemble. Oh, hey, you got \"Hold me now\" on here? I [i]love[/i] that song! I always sing along when it's on the radio.\"\n \"Do you?\" Harmony said with a giggle. \"I didn't know you even [i]could[/i] sing?\"\n \"Ha, well, you may not think that of me, but I have quite a good singing voice, if I may say so myself,\" Opposite grinned.\nHarmony prompted him with a paw giggling.\n \"Go on then, let's hear it.\"\n\nThe black and white Care Bear smiled at Harmony, bent over to the cloud-o-blaster, searched for the correct track number, and then pressed the \"play\"-button. Johnny Logan's \"Hold me now\" started sounding from the cloud-o-blaster again, and Opposite sang along with it in a remarkably good voice. Despite the slightly Creole accent he normally spoke with, his voice was melodious when he sang, with a very nice, good clear timbre. And you could tell he really liked the song too, because he placed the perfect amount of emotion into his voice while singing along with it. Harmony sat listening to Opposite's singing with large round eyes, actually not having expected the black and white bear to have such a good singing voice. When the song had finished, Opposite pressed the \"stop\"-button on the cloud-o-blaster and looked at the surprised lavender Care Bear with a grin.\n \"Well sis, how was that?\"\n \"Sheesh, Opposite...\" Harmony said. \"I didn't know you could sing [i]that[/i] good! It was beautiful!\"\n \"Yeh, not bad, was it?\" the black and white Care Bear grinned. \"Say, I have another one for you. Can I hold your guitar for a moment?\"\nHarmony nodded, took the guitar leaning against her garden chair, and handed it to Opposite. He took it, checked the strings, and then smiled at Harmony.\n \"Right, do you know this one?\" He started plucking the strings, and a moment later he started singing. \"[i]Thinking of you's working up my appetite, looking forward to a little afternoon delight...[/i]\"\nHarmony knew that song of course, so at the second verse she joined in, singing the girl part of the song. When the two Care Bears had finished the song, Harmony clapped her paws, smiling at Opposite.\n \"Wow Opposite, that was great! You can sing, man!\" She drew a deep breath. \"Wow, it makes me think back on the times I had the entire family singing together in a choir. That was such fun!\" She suddenly looked up at Opposite. \"Hey, you know what we should do? Make a music video!\"\n \"You mean, like an MTV clip?\" the black and white Care Bear said.\n \"Yeah, exactly!\" Harmony said enthusiastically. \"Nothing really serious, I'm not expecting to make TV with it, but just for fun, you know! Just the two of us!\"\n \"Sounds cool,\" Opposite grinned. \"Yeah sure, I'm game, sis.\"\n \"Great!\" Harmony exclaimed happily. \"This is going to be such fun!\"\n \"I hope you have a camera though,\" Opposite said with a grin. \"I don't have one.\"\n \"Yes, don't worry, I have a camera,\" Harmony said. \"Oh, this'll be so exciting! I have tons of ideas! We can do location-shots, and special set-ups, and everything!\"\n \"Tell you what then, sis,\" Opposite grinned. \"It's time to grab a bite to eat now, so I'll be heading home. You look up that camera, I'll meet you here with the car tomorrow, and we'll do some scouting for suitable locations. How's that sound?\"\n \"Wonderful!\" Harmony squealed excitedly. \"I love that plan! Yes, let's do that, Opposite! I'll go look up my camera right after dinner, and I'll meet you tomorrow! Oh wow, I'm getting so excited about all this!\"\n \"Then I'd better go now, before you start bouncing around with excitement,\" Opposite chuckled. \"See ya tomorrow, sis.\"\n\nHe rose up from the garden chair, gave Harmony her guitar back and walked away from her cloud cottage, waving at her. Harmony happily waved back at him, drew a deep breath, and went inside.\n\nThe next morning, Harmony was sitting on the rail of her porch, looking around her through the lens of a compact camcorder to test the autofocus and all. She jumped up happily when she saw the special Jeep-like Cloudsmobile Opposite drove heading towards her cloud cottage from the left somewhere. The black and white Care Bear merrily pulled to a stop at the driveway, and Harmony grabbed her guitar in one paw, holding the camera in her other, ran down the driveway and jumped into the Cloudsmobile.\n \"Hiya Opposite!\" she said, bubbling with excitement. \"I'm all ready to go!\"\n \"So I see,\" Opposite grinned. \"Well, let's set off then.\" He accelerated and started calmly driving through Care-a-Lot, meanwhile looking aside at Harmony with a grin. \"So what's the first plan, sis?\"\n \"Oh, I was thinking we could first try out a few things,\" Harmony said. \"You know, when we find a nice spot, you film me while I play and sing a bit, and then we look at how that shows on the screen.\"\n \"So you have a playlist all ready then?\" Opposite grinned.\n \"Not really, I'll just play and sing what first pops into my head at a certain spot,\" Harmony said with a giggle. \"When we look back at the shots, we can always decide what would look and sound best.\"\n \"I'm all with you, sis,\" the black and white Care Bear chuckled merrily.\n\nHe calmly drove down the rainbow paths, past the Hall of Hearts, and around Wish Bear's cloud cottage. A little way furtheron Harmony put a paw on Opposite's arm.\n \"Oh, stop here for a while, Opposite!\" she said enthusiastically. \"Look at that! That looks just perfect!\"\n\nThe lavender Care Bear was looking at a wide-open landscape of clouds, stretching out to the horizon. The smiling yellow sun was lazily hanging in the blue sky above it, and from a few higher clouds a couple of colorfully glittering rainbows ran down to the lower clouds. Can't go wrong.\"\n \"Easy enough,\" Opposite said with a grin. \"There's a tape in it, I assume?\"\n \"Yeah,\" Harmony nodded, taking her guitar from the backseat. \"Now, keep in mind that you should point it at those clouds and then hold steady for a second or three, so the auto-focus can adjust. After that, like I said, just press \"record\" and everything will go well.\"\n \"Right,\" the black and white Care Bear chuckled.\n\nHarmony smiled again, pressed a soft kiss on Opposite's cheek, and then ran off to the clouds in the distance, disappearing behind them with her guitar. Opposite grinned a bit again, held the camera up in front of his face and directed it at the clouds Harmony had disappeared behind. A mass of dark blueish grey clouds rose up there, continually raining down into a waterfall that fed a creek running through the dark clouds. Opposite parked his Cloudsmobile on a last patch of fluffy white clouds, and together with Harmony he walked to the dark, gloomy, raining clouds. The black and white Care Bear looked around him a bit, scratching the top of his head, but Harmony looked around her with a smile.\n \"Oh, this is just perfect! Look Opposite, you go stand over there, with the sun in your back. I'll go sit on that cloud there, right next to that one that's raining into the creek.\"\n\nWith a slight grin, the black and white Care Bear walked to the position Harmony had pointed at, mounting the camera on a tripod while the lavender Care Bear stepped over to one of the dark clouds with her guitar. She had first taken off the colorful ribbons of it, and she sat down on the gloomy dark cloud with it. The sun, being behind Opposite somewhere, only managed to illuminate the scene with a few rays, most of her rays being blocked by the dark clouds. Rain continually drizzled down from the higher dark clouds, spattering in the creek. Harmony looked around her for a few moments more, letting the scenery sink into her. Then she drew a deep breath, brought a sad, dark look to her face, and started plucking her guitar, singing in a soft, emotional voice.\n \"[i]Your sad moods are the dark clouds, on my happy sky blue mood. They tried several more things, like Harmony singing \"Somewhere over the rainbow\" near the giant rainbow path at the entrance/exit of the Kingdom of Caring, or \"Mull of Kintyre\" at the rainbow path leading into the Forest of Feelings, with the forest on the background, and \"Where we belong\" on the cloudly hill next to the one where Trueheart's cloud cottage was built on, with a magnificent view all over Care-a-Lot. They also tried a setting with the Hall of Hearts in the background, where Harmony sang \"Copa Cabana\", but that one didn't really go very well. Mostly because of Tenderheart sticking his head through one of the windows a couple of times to ask them if they could be a little bit quieter. The most daring thing the two musical Care Bears tried however was Harmony singing Carole King's \"Care-a-Lot\" on the hood of Opposite's Cloudsmobile, while Opposite drove the car through all of Care-a-Lot. It was the only song where Harmony was off key every once in a while, because she sometimes had to make a sudden move to keep her balance.\n\nAfter that last quite daring project, since they had ended up close to Harmony's cloud cottage, they decided to stop for the day and look at the result. So the two Care Bears went into Harmony's cloud cottage, and while Harmony got them some drinks, Opposite popped the tape into Harmony's VCR and rewinded it to its beginning. Just when it stopped rewinding, Harmony came back into the livingroom with two glasses of lemonade and a plate of mini-muffins (she appeared to really like those). She had first taken off the colorful ribbons of it, and she sat down on the gloomy dark cloud with it.
