^_^\r\n\r\nPardon me if I'm a little giddy, but I thought I'd show off a little something I've been ditzing with for the past few hours. Got a new tablet PC ( HP TouchSmart tx2-1275dx ) from Best buy last night and man is it fun! ^^ I worried it might be tough making the transition from paper to digital, but so far I think I'm adjusting fairly well. Had a few initial hiccups till I figured out how to turn off the touch-screen and pen-flicks capabilities HP turns on by default... but now that the screen responds to the pen and the pen only, things are going much better. ^^\r\n\r\nThis was a sketch of Dagas from fa!wolfsilvermoon 's Gods Pack (http:/www.godspack.com ) I did as a piece of fan-art and I figured it'd make for a decent start into poking and prodding at digital coloring. Nothing too fancy, just a trace of the outline from the scan... and some flat coloring I did utilizing layers (which are /AWESOME/ by the way! ^______^ ). Not sure just yet how to go about adding some effects like shadows and whatnot, but this was a successful test and 1st start in my mind. ^^ And it seems the sketch survived fairly well through the transition.\r\n\r\nAnywho, just thought Id post this to show fa!wolfsilvermoon that I havn't given up on this project just yet... I just needed to get some better tools to continue working on it till I was satisified. XD Not sure if I'm going to complete this particular sketch, but I am sufficiently intrigued to continue working on something related to it. ^^ Will move to scraps later.\r\n\r\nNotes: Colors are probably a little off ( Definately off. I think she's more brown... I'll play with that later. c_C;;; ) - I can't get any of the 3 screens I've tried thus far to give me a representation I like. c_C; May have to ditz with that a little more.
