They claimed dominion over all life, and spread that self-centered philosophy across the galaxy, poisoning the natives of other planets with their DNA and forcing them into servitude.\n\nShortly after the discovery of space travel, hybrids sought out a planet of their own, free from human oppression. A distant world was found on the edge of the galaxy, and a mass migration of hybrids followed. The humans didn't interfere at first... Earth had grown overcrowded, and the exodus relieved pressure on its exhausted natural resources, to say nothing of tense human/hybrid relations. However, it wasn't long before humanity decided that the hundreds of worlds it had already colonized wasn't enough, and sought to bring the world of Woodland Green- our world- under its control.\n\nFirst came the mercenary forces, then came entire armies. Both were vicious beyond description. The human capacity for cruelty was limitless, unbound by restraint or decency. The lucky Woodlanders were quickly gunned down by Earth's soldiers... the rest were beaten, tortured, and skinned alive, with the dripping pelts worn by the humans in subsequent battles.\n\nChildren were not exempt from that sadism. The humans snatched me off the street when I was just three years old, stripping me of my diaper, my fur, and my free will.
