The Bone King's Past Long ago Seth was just starting school for mages, one day while exploring the tunnels under the school he came across a very strange plant. It looked like a venus fly trap with little pears hanging off vines. Being the curious little fox he was he crept closer. To his surprise it turned to him and spoke in a alluring voice. "Come here young one and live forever" Shivering the voice drew him in closer till he stood before the plant that was taller then him. It spoke again. "Would you like to live forever?" The kit nodded foolishly and closed his eyes fully entranced by the plant's voice. The plant bent over and gently swallowed the little arctic fox with a little belch. ~Fast forward 2 days~ A pear shaped fruit fell off a vine and split open upon hitting the ground. Slowly the spilled contents formed into a small white fox with red ear tips, gloves, socks and tail tip. Shivering the newly reborn naked kit looked up at the plant that birthed him. "Welcome back little one. As I promised you will forever. Whenever you would die you will be reborn here just as you are now." The plant leaned foreword in its stalk and whispered in the kit's ear. "So long as your soul is pure and with out thoughts of hate it will be stored here nourishing me." The plant nudged the kit to a pile of clothes and books and thank the confused kit for the meal. The kit dressed and wandered back to the school, the memory of this night fading to a dream. ~Fast forward 12 years~ Seth is now twenty-two years old and a successful biomancer creating new and interesting creatures for a living. The fox had falling in love with a well known rogue named Tommy. The raccoon rogue was hailed as hero to the common people so much so they did not care he had a male lover. The nobles saw this rogue as a threat to their power and framed in for a murder he did not commit. In an instant the people turned against their former hero and booed him as he was lead to his death. Seth was forced to watch as his lover was wrongfully executed in the most horrible way. The fox mage fled to his tower and locked himself in crying. As the tears fell he scoured his books looking for a way to bring back his love. His paws fell on a dark book he had never seen before. After reading it for nights upon nights he threw it away in rage as it was no help. Sobbing and lost in madness he stalked the streets of the city he had begun to hate. Time went on and his hate grew as did his madness, it was then he remembered what was held in the book he spent so many nights studying. He decided then to take his revenge on those who murdered his love. Back under the school the plant shuddered, the soul it had carefully tended and cared for began to turn dark and rancid. To save the soul and it self it forced the soul to move on to the next life, breaking its contact with the kit. ~Fast forward 10 years~ For the past ten years Seth raised an army of undead and razed town after town seeking every rumor of bringing a loved one fully from the dead. As the year moved on his white fur darkened to a charcoal gray from despair. He started to call himself Scy Blood ass the same power he used created a new dark soul to replace his soul. Others began to call the dark fox, The Bone King, as his undead army crawled across the lands ever in search of the secret to rebirth. ~Fast forward 100 years~ A sobbing form sat on a throne made of bones, its gold crown weighing heavily on the forms head. The form sobbed as it wrote in a small book. Twenty years after he took the name of Scy Bloodmoon The Bone King, he had given up on his quest. Those that had killed his beloved Tommy had been dead for years and no new rumors for rebirth had reached his ears for months. His army stopped its rampage as he returned to his tower seeking solitude. Most of the undead had been dismissed and had begun to spread out to stalk various graveyards and dark places. A few that were somewhat intelligence stayed to guard their master's tower, keeping out all would be slayers of The Bone King. Sounds of battle rang out as the doors of the throne room burst open to revel a Mouse wizard, a raccoon thief; bearing an uncanny resemblance to Tommy, and a hyena barbarian princess. The group prepared for battle against the dread lord of the undead. When the form gave them no notice they crept forward slowly, till the stood before the throne. After a few moments of silence a faint raspy voice came from the form. "Do it all ready! I no longer have the will to fight you or your kind off." Sobbing it looked up with its eyes closed. After talking among themselves the heroes parted as the thief stepped up to the throne. The Bone King nodded and the hesitant raccoon pushed his dagger into the robed chest of the fox. The dagger pierced the heart and stuck there. Trembling the hero stepped back to see the dark lord smile happily and whisper softly into the still room before dieing. The raccoon would never forget the words only he had heard. "Tommy please forgive me. Oh gods I loved you so much" The raccoon pocketed the small book that was in the king of undead's paws. Somberly a parade of skeletons walked up to the throne and stood there bearing a litter made of bones. The heroes turned weapons and magic at ready. Slowly one of the undead stepped forward an spoke. "Stay your weapons heroes we only wish to bury our king before returning to our sleep he woke us from. The heroes parted letting the procession pass past them. ~Two days later~ The raccoon alone in his room pulled out the little book and read the title. -To My Dearest Tommy- Tears in his eyes the raccoon opened the book and began to read. I wanna thank Alex Reynard for this. I started off just writing a very quick synopsis of my fursona's back story. But as as started something took hold and I just couldn't stop till the whole story came out. THANK YOU SO MUCH YOU SILLY FOX.
