The naga ruler was once considered a benevolent ruler of the sands but sometime during his reign, something had come over the naga. It was said that during the prime of his life that he claimed to possess knowledge of the secret to eternal life. Sadly, the secret he proclaimed was that by branding himself with a special tattoo...what he needed was to ingest the bodies of his servants. This proclamation frightened his followers greatly as soon, mostly the men of his kingdom were brought before him in order for him to devour them. Only those that he found handsome and stunning were eventually fed to him though it was said he had his way with them before he would eat them, practically giving them a pleasure none had ever known before he swallowed them whole. Though, there was a rumor that perhaps those swallowed did not die...but somehow were magically restored in some way. But, this was never proven as no sign of these victims existed beyond memory.\n\nOne day, the kingdom's greatest priests and philosophers descended upon the capital city of Amulta to capture the Pharaoh, binding him in the strongest magicks known to the ancient world before mummifying his body. He was entombed in a vast stone crypt beneath a pyramid built, not for his greatness but as a warning of whom lay beneath the sands there. But without the wisdom that the great serpent possessed nor the right leader to guide the city, the once great Amulta collapsed upon itself as some say it was swallowed by a fearsome sandstorm; a supposed result of the naga's wrath from the beyond. In time the city was lost to all knowledge as any who once resided there or even knew of its existence was either silenced or simply let all knowledge pass with them upon death. The location was lost to time and even then, the massive pyramid lost it's meaning and even fell victim to the modern world as it's stones were stolen and re-purposed to build the structures and roads of a new city: Hoplis.\n\nThe city was built in the mid 1500's as men and leaders saw the pyramid a simple obstacle so as to build a great city. Scholards admonished its destruction but it did not stop its demise. From this city bore a trade center in the desert and through it, great wealth flowed into the once barren kingdom. And as with time, the city grew and prospered as more of the ancient worlds disappeared to modern society. The skyline was broken with glimmer towers of steel and glass as the once dark nights suddenly filled with the neon glimmer of street lamps, clubs and other such structures. But in the city's avarice, a mistake was made.\n\nThe long forgotten tomb of the ancient Pharaoh was disturbed and what magicks had kept him in what was supposed to be eternal slumber was broken. The once slumbering naga then awoke with a powerful hunger and need to see what became of his great kingdom. While he was able to shed many of the bandages keeping his form hidden, he was unable to free his arms as the magick there seemed strongest as they practically bound to his chest. He needed to regain his strength in order to overcome what magick was left of the old world but in order to do so, he needed out of his crypt. Thankfully, a mining operation saw to his freedom. A company had been assigned to build beneath the city an infrastructure that would become the city's subway system. A fanciful thought to build beneath the sands...at least in the past. But thanks to the hidden crypt as well as what stones were used to build the city at its beginning somehow presented such a possibility for this thriving metropolis. They would use the deep lying stones and reinforce it into massive tunnels until once such dig led them to what seemed like a massive stone wall complete with ancient markings.\n\nWhile it would have been a major archaeological discovery, the men in charge of the building of this subway system decided to instead break it down as they had deadlines to meet. All it took was a few well placed sticks of dynamite and soon, what was supposed to be a wall to keep the Pharaoh from escaping soon was reduced to rubble. In that very instance, the naga's malevolence burst from the crypt and many from the crew were quickly subdued, hypnotized and devoured. He didn't care if the men were old, young, fat or masculine...all were his to ingest as to restore his power. But once he had his fill, he was suddenly struck with a fascination for this underground tunnel built beneath the sands...beginning to think that whoever these men were inadvertently built for him a new structure...a new kingdom to be hidden away from the modern world. He chuckled a bit as he thought himself a fool for already devouring the crew...but instantly began hatching a marvelous idea.\n\nMany months later, the subway was completed by a new mining company. The head of which was a mysterious benefactor who seemingly funded the structure's completion though hidden out of public view. While the city was able to use the new subway to its desire, little did they know that beyond the subway was a different city entirely. Here, Pharaoh Almultahima remained, gladly reaping the rewards of the subway's success. After all, he suddenly had a steady stream of new worshipers as well as those willing to submit and become a part of his immortality. In his new city, males of all sorts seemed to live in a more ancient means imbued with aspects of the modern world where some were groomed to become the man's most precious followers, those that would find themselves in not only his bed and coils...but in his belly. After all, the magick he found was able to keep himself alive...but also, in some sense, kept the males he devoured alive as well. They did not exist on this plane as physical, mortal men...but on another plan of existence entirely. The Pharaoh was able to secure his immortality not only in this world...but in a world beyond, practically making him a living being in two realms all at once. There, he was able to experience the pleasures of his devoured followers as they found pleasure among one another. Oh yes, in time...his city will be brought to the surface but for now, the new Almuta will stay buried until the day will come for the Pharaoh to make himself known to the world above.
