The rich carpet and silk wallpaper seeming all too familiar. Her eyebrows hiked and she gurgled something under her breath as she voiced a key note of displeasure. The thick bit gag that filled her jaws doing its job and muffling her sweet voice into a low grunt. The thick rubber cylinder glinting in the gaslight from a slick of her own saliva. The cocker unable to control her own drool.\n\nLady took a measured step forward. Devotion was key in this life. Tardiness would be punished severely, a fact she knew from experience. Thus, the point of this exercise being to come when called, no matter what. Each step of her sharp heels into the threads of the carpet was met with a soft jingle from the padlocks that hung from her ankles. The shackles and short chain locked together in a manner that made sure that Lady would be forced to trot along at a set pace. Any doors she came upon were locked shut, and no paintings, plaques, or otherwise identifying features hung on the walls.\n\nThe spaniel had always been a very well-heeled woman. To that effect, the posture collar around her neck and the tight mono-sleeve that restrained her arms forced her body into a graceful arc, head hiked proudly. The leather edge of the collar digging into the bottoms of her jaw whenever she moved her head. Forcing her to remain in position. Each step caused her delicate bosom to ripple and jiggle. Her pink nipples stood out against the low brown of her flesh. The cool air of the hallway causing them to perk in all their rosy glory.\n\n“Muumph?” Her slender fingers where intertwined within the very end of the tight mono-sleeve. The tight leather bulb encasing those wringing hands rolling side to side as she wiggled those digits.\n\nA faint tingling sound of a bell reached Lady’s ears. Causing them both to perk. Her brown eyes blinking a few times as she paused. Trying to zero in on the direction of the sound as it called her to its direction. She twisted her body around so that she could get an earful from the side in order to determine if the gentle tinkle of brass chimes was coming from behind her. A clear indication that she had gone the wrong way. For a second, she stood there with her legs braced. Ready to swing around should she need to. The sound ceased right when she needed it most, and she was left with her eyes darting side to side wondering which way she should go.\n\n“Mhuhuummp….” The spaniel groaned to herself. She rolled her shoulder blades to the soft tune of creaking and crackling leather. Long and luxurious ears tumbling back behind her shoulders.\n\nStanding there would get her nowhere, and she took the gamble to continue on her present course. Each step was exaggerated thanks to the binder and posture collar. The hallways silent aside from the gentle tingle of Lady’s chains and her own footsteps. That was until another far-off note caused her ears to perk once more. The spaniel swung around on her heels, her long ears tumbling over her shoulder blades from her quick motion. Somewhere not far away, she could hear the faint moan of another gagged female.\n\n“Mmmmmmm…”\n\n“MHHHUMMMPH!” Lady squealed. “Bwixie, his pat hue?”\n\nThe voice went silent. But it was enough behind her that Lady was confident the Irish setter switch wouldn’t catch up. Unless of course, it was the cocker who had gone the wrong way. Otherwise she would be the one who was behind, and would surly lose the race down the maze-like corridors and flights. She started to trot, moving carefully in order to keep from tripping. Bound as she was, should Lady take a tumble, she would never get herself back upright in time. Failure being hers to grasp, and with a fate of both pleasure and pain waiting.\nShe turned a corner and stopped. She had to turn her whole body first one way, and then the other, thanks to the immobilization of the collar. From the corner of her eye, she thought she saw another figure in the darkness down the hallway behind her. Moving much like herself, proud and erect, into a side corridor and out of sight. The cocker swinging around to face in that direction, and taking a few steps back. Brown eyes seeking through the darkness.\n\n“Mhwixie?” Lady murred from behind the thick cylinder of rubber.\n\nShe was breathing hard from the exertion of her posture. Her chest rising and falling in firm slow circles. Turning back around, she picked up her walk again. This time with a renewed vigor. Following the ornate patterns on the carpet, and guided by the dim glow of the gaslights. Another corner, and then another she padded. Turning right down this hallway, then left down that one. How could this place have so many empty halls with closed doors? It was almost supernatural.\n\nThe sound of the bell tingled again. This time, it seemed as it was right in front of her! It had to be.
