"Sit." The order was as clear as it was fast. A simple order like that was impossible to mishear. Yue, being the tall yet insecure human they once were, did not hesitate for a second to plop his tail on the ground. The one who ordered them, Kyusei, sighed in disbelief. "Gosh darn it! Why can't you listen?" Yue tilted their head to the side, "But… I did listen." The alien looked back annoyedly, "No no, the other order!" The human nodded their head, clearly not fully there at the moment, Kyusei decided to try something different. "Okay, again. And I swear to the seven immortals, if you mess this up then there's no more transforming for a week!" The threat Kyusei gave instantly struck Yue with an icicle, freezing them in place. "Y-you can't do that to me!" "Like hell I can't. If you want the privilege then you gotta help me help you." Silence filled the room. A tone of silence Yue was not used to. No transforming for a week? But how would Yue live without it? Not being close to Kyusei at all times, as their teacup, socks, even their ring whenever Kyuse was a little feisty for some roleplay. Yue needed that, it was a privilege that they weren't able to lose. "I-I can do it!" "Oh?" Kyusei shot a menacing gaze directly at the white dog, "Okay then. Come over here and sit." But… Yue did not move. "N-n-no…" Oh? This was intriguing, Kyusei never saw Yue talk back like this before. They were usually too much of a pushover to deny something. An easy mark for someone like Kyusei. "What did you say?" The black fluffed alien knew exactly what that antisocial cookie said, but Kyusei wanted to test just how much they could withstand. "I said… no." Yue looked up triumphantly. Not a good look for someone who was about to fall head over heels at the slightest touch. Kyusei marched up and grabbed Yue by the face, smooshing against one anothers'. "Yue~ sit for me." And as expected, they fell down to their knees. Go figure. Yue's tail swayed from side to side without even attempting to put together what just happened. They were just listening like a good human. No thoughts, just sit. That's all they needed to do. The sight made Kyusei lose hope entirely. If it was that easy to take advantage of them, then who knows how it would be at the office. Might as well make them a coffee runner now and save the trouble! This oblivious, light-haired, cutie-pie would be the death of Kyusei sooner or later. It was only a matter of time till their perfectly black hairs turned grey. "Did I do something wrong?" Yue's ears drooped down, causing Kyusei to feel a bit regretful. With a sigh, the alien stood, "No you—yes, yes you did. You failed horribly." "How bad?" "Honestly, there's so many ways I could take advantage of you, it isn't even funny. Like—" Suddenly, Kyusei raised one of her massively plump footpaws and SLAMMED it on the glass counter, nothing even needed to be conveyed, Yue was already entranced by the steam rising from the sole. The smooshed pads over the table were like a red herring. "See what I mean?" The words slipped from Yue's ears as quickly as they went in. "So… are you gonna do something?" It was sort of nostalgic, watching Yue salivate over their paws like a freshly cut slice of pie. And Kyusei wouldn't blame most for that. This however, was on a whole nother' level of desperation. The way Yue seemed to blank from a quick glance at the meaty soles lying in front of them was cute but ultimately a flaw. Office jobs love making use of flaws. That Kyusei was certain of, it appeared some 'unorthodox' treatment was required. As Yue casted their thousands yard stare in the reflection of those slick paws, Kyusei on the other foot slowly shuffled closer to the point the peets were practically grazing the space cadet's nose with each twitch of its five, massive heads. They were larger than them, much larger. Definitely the size that could turn a whole face into a doormat easily. A few sniffles and quiet gasps later and that was all needed to charm Yue. If this was a videogame, Yue would be the weakest when it came to charming. That was obvious. Now, the alien only needed to rest their massively massive paws and let Yue do the rest… if they could even craft a coherent thought that is. God, it was so easy to turn them into a sniffling mess. "Cute~" The word stabbed Yue's chest. Were they doomed to fall under any foot landing even slightly near them? The locks on Yue's jaw unhinged, something came slithering out to embrace the paw before– "Hey! Just wanted to stop by to—" Everything froze. The two collectively shot their gaze at the wide open front door hovering over a shorter Tasu, "Am I… interrupting something?" Crap! Kyusei swore they didn't hear the door open. How could neither of them notice?! "No! Tasu it's not what it looks like—" Out of all the people, of course it had to be the innocent Tasu, not the romance-heavy Zukoi or the teasing but understanding Nokuro. No, it had to be Tasu. Kyusei cursed theirself for ever giving that cuddly ball of energy a key! "Not what it looks like? It looks like you two are having a bit of couples fun to me." Tasu shrugged and casted her glance away. "No, no come on! In the middle of the day? I would never— Yue, back me up on this!" In a fit of desperation, Kyusei looked to Yue for support. "K-k-kyusei asked me to…" Apparently that was the worst idea ever. "ASKED them? Kyusei! You know poor Yue can't say no to an order." Every second, this situation just seemed to get worse and worse! Kyusei needed to freeze this train before it ran them over! "I know! I was helpin—" "Oh don't even go there! I know helping when I see it. And shoving your foot in someone's face is not helping. I could see that smirk all over your own face as well." Kyusei slipped! Their grasp on the situation was loosening! Something needed to be done fast. "Give me a break you two! Agh! Yue, sit and stay quiet." The gaze Kyusei sent Yue's way should be all they needed to convey. However, "N-n-no." it appeared that things could get worse. "Damit! Not right now! See what I mean? I've been teaching them to say no." The tension dropped slightly. Tasu's eyes lightened up along with the rest of her face. "I see…" At that moment, Kyusei finally got a proper grip on the situation; things were finally turning around! "Just… come inside." The rest of the day flew by. Between the feast and constant chitter, there was no moment left unattended. All three were sat at the table, munching on the feast cooked by that white-haired twink sitting on the opposite side of Kyusei. Both of their eyes caught each other staring. Because of this, the two spent a good ten seconds inside the other's starry gaze. Being snapped out of it by the unexpected Ring! Ring! Ring! of a phone. "I'll get that." Answered Kyusei, breaking the staring contest by rushing over to the phone while covering their flushed cheeks. "Hello? Mom? You want to come over? This week, yeah that should be fine." Ending the call, Kyusei went back to tell the table the news when they realized: "Crap! Mom doesn't even know about Yue!" "Doesn't know? You told your friends before you told your mother?" "No, I didn't want to tell any of you! It was Nokuro's fault. I swear that fox is omnipotent, he could just tell!" "How are you gonna explain this?" "I-I don't know… I'll admit it straight?" "Ugh. Sorry Kyusei but I can't help you there. This is on you, and I've got to go." Suddenly, Tasu jolted up from her chair and waved goodbye but not before patting Yue on the head, "Chiao! See you two at work!" The faces on Kyusei and Yue were polar opposites; while the alien signaled a face of complete confusion and betrayal, Yue was too busy with their feeling of completion. That little pat on the head by the cutie Tasu reminded Yue of everything they went through, from being her socks for a day to being cuddled by the group on Christmas. Yue, the same person who once thought of themselves as no more than a mindless drone for the world, now felt happy to be alive. These past months were the most lively days they'd ever been part of. And now, Yue wasn't nervous of losing it because they knew: their heart had been abducted long ago, Stolen and cradled by the alien. Today ended like any other day. The two lied side by side to each other on their tiny bed. Kyusei would always apologize profusely for not having a bigger mattress as they slipped under the blankets, Yue always made sure to clarify that they didn't mind before getting into a comfortable position, usually being cupped by their sleeping partner, lover, favorite alien, and savior: Kyusei.
