She even sold it for a whopping 40 gold, enough to pay off her debt!\n\nSo off she went, to the money lender, coin in hand and a smile of her muzzle. Her tail was even wagging she was so happy. Free front debt at last!\n\nAs she arrived the familiar guard waved her in. It was a wolf-kin, most people in this city were some canid. She nodded to him as she passed, having seen him here so many times in the past few years.\n\nSomething was off here. Specifically a bat-kin and her bodyguards. The money lender never saw more than one client at once.\n\n\"Ahh good timing Ariana.\" said the money lender, a dog-kin with an exotic fur pattern. Which, alongside his three fingers and a thumb, was his most distinguished trait. \"I do believe we have business to talk about.\"\n\nEyeing the bats bodyguards for a moment Ariana saw each had a sword, pommels marked with runes. It was quite obvious the bat was from the Chirop family.\n\n\"Yeah, let's talk about paying off my debt.\" Ariana said as she plunked down her bag of gold coins. The majority of which were minted with the symbol belonging to the family of the noble standing beside her. \"Particularly how this is enough.\"\n\nThe money lender just stared at her, making no move towards the pouch. \"Well first off, your late.\"\n\n\"I'm sure you'll find it to be enough regardless, shall we make it official now?\" Ariana asked, once more eyeing the noble. It made her nervous. Not only did the money lender never see more than one client at a time, but a noble would never stand for their business being interrupted by another. \n\nThe bat gave a gentle smile as she noticed the fox peering at her. It did nothing to alleviate Arianas nerves.\n\n[i]\"The hell with it\"[/i] Ariana thought, she was going to ask the question, tactfully mind you. \"Why [i]are[/i] you seeing me when your already dealing with a client?\"\n\nAriana saw the bats gentle smile grew into a wide grin. [i]\"oh, that is bad, that is so very bad\"[/i]\n\n\"Ahhmrm, yes well you se-\" the lender started, before being interrupted by the bat.\n\n\"I bought your debt little fox. You're essentially my property now\" the bat flat out said, still wearing the wide grin. \"Would you like to do this the easy way? Or the bloody way?\"\n\n[i]\"Property?! Bloody way?! What?!\"[/i] Ariana couldn't grasp the situation right away.\n\n...\n\n\"I'm a slave?! B-but I have enough to pay off my debt!\" Ariana stated, practically in tears as she realized what the Chirop meant by property. \"I'm only two days late!\"\n\nTalia motioned to her guard on the left, who started digging through a bag. \"I hope we do this the easy way. I'm not much of a sadist but I'll break you if I must.\"\n\nThe guard had finished digging through the bag and had pulled out two pieces of round, curved metal. [i]\"Break me?\"[/i] Ariana thought as flinched as Talias guard approached, but otherwise didn't fight or move while he put the metal pieces around her neck.\n\nShe felt the magic in the metal flow together. A small tug by the guard confirmed that the two pieces had fused into one. It was a slave collar and even if Ariana did run, everyone would know exactly what she was.\n\nBoth guards, Ariana hadn't noticed the second one approach, were now stripping her of her thing. Her tattered cloak, the gold coins from selling the Ambrosia, even her magic tomb and the gloves and socks on her paws.\n\nOut of the bag came a chain, and into it went all her stuff. Ariana watched naked as the day she was born, save for her now permanent collar, as the chain was attached to said collar.\n\nClang went the chain as the guard handed his end over to the Chirop. A short tug and the poor fox started walking, noticing that her tail had stuck itself between her legs. Any fight she should have had was dashed by the emotional wiplash of having been purchased, just as she saw the end of her debts in sight.\n\nThe walk through the streets had her feeling naked, more so than she ever had in her life despite walking nearly nude everyday. More so in fact than the first few times she sold her body in the brothel.\n\n[i]\"A slave, I-I'm a slave\"[/i] Was the only thing on her mind as she walked, and it made her nudity feel like a prison.\n\nWhen they finally arrived at the noble Chirops palace, and with how big it was that didn't feel like an exageration, Talia got a good look at the ornate metal fence that would essentially be her real prison. At least until the Chirop family felt she was broken enough to run errands without running away.\n\nThe pebbles of the walkway burying themselves painfully into her paws, pain that was a welcome distraction from her imaginings of slave life.\n\nBut the distraction didn't last and she was soon walking on soft floors made from a material she'd never seen before. Softer than the softest wood, yet it didn't break apart like dirt. It was obviously exotic and expensive, her new owners would only have the best for their feet.\n\nBut even that material didn't stay beneath Arianas feet, as she was lead through the palace and into a dungeon. [i]\"I'm going to be broken here...[/i] Ariana had long accepted that life was not going to be easy for her. And she had nothing to fight for anyway as she had already learned all that she could reasonably pay for.\n\nShe didn't want fight, even as she was being tied down to a torture rack.\n\n\"Oh being cooperative are you?\" Asked Talia, with a hint of surprise on her smirking face. \"Well then lets skipped to the good part. "I'm sure you'll find it to be enough regardless, shall we make it official now?" Ariana asked, once more eyeing the noble. It made her nervous. Not only did the money lender never see more than one client at a time, but a noble would never stand for their business being interrupted by another.

The bat gave a gentle smile as she noticed the fox peering at her. It did nothing to alleviate Arianas nerves.

"The hell with it" Ariana thought, she was going to ask the question, tactfully mind you. "Why are you seeing me when your already dealing with a client?"

Ariana saw the bats gentle smile grew into a wide grin. "oh, that is bad, that is so very bad"

"Ahhmrm, yes well you se-" the lender started, before being interrupted by the bat.

"I bought your debt little fox. You're essentially my property now" the bat flat out said, still wearing the wide grin. "Would you like to do this the easy way? Or the bloody way?"

"Property?! Bloody way?! What?!" Ariana couldn't grasp the situation right away.

"I'm a slave?! B-but I have enough to pay off my debt!" Ariana stated, practically in tears as she realized what the Chirop meant by property. "I'm only two days late!"

Talia motioned to her guard on the left, who started digging through a bag. "I hope we do this the easy way. I'm not much of a sadist but I'll break you if I must."

The guard had finished digging through the bag and had pulled out two pieces of round, curved metal. "Break me?" Ariana thought as flinched as Talias guard approached, but otherwise didn't fight or move while he put the metal pieces around her neck.

She felt the magic in the metal flow together. A small tug by the guard confirmed that the two pieces had fused into one. It was a slave collar and even if Ariana did run, everyone would know exactly what she was.

Both guards, Ariana hadn't noticed the second one approach, were now stripping her of her thing. Her tattered cloak, the gold coins from selling the Ambrosia, even her magic tomb and the gloves and socks on her paws.

Out of the bag came a chain, and into it went all her stuff. Ariana watched naked as the day she was born, save for her now permanent collar, as the chain was attached to said collar.

Clang went the chain as the guard handed his end over to the Chirop. A short tug and the poor fox started walking, noticing that her tail had stuck itself between her legs. Any fight she should have had was dashed by the emotional wiplash of having been purchased, just as she saw the end of her debts in sight.

The walk through the streets had her feeling naked, more so than she ever had in her life despite walking nearly nude everyday. More so in fact than the first few times she sold her body in the brothel.

"A slave, I-I'm a slave" Was the only thing on her mind as she walked, and it made her nudity feel like a prison.

When they finally arrived at the noble Chirops palace, and with how big it was that didn't feel like an exageration, Talia got a good look at the ornate metal fence that would essentially be her real prison. At least until the Chirop family felt she was broken enough to run errands without running away.

The pebbles of the walkway burying themselves painfully into her paws, pain that was a welcome distraction from her imaginings of slave life.

But the distraction didn't last and she was soon walking on soft floors made from a material she'd never seen before. Softer than the softest wood, yet it didn't break apart like dirt. It was obviously exotic and expensive, her new owners would only have the best for their feet.

But even that material didn't stay beneath Arianas feet, as she was lead through the palace and into a dungeon. "I'm going to be broken here... Ariana had long accepted that life was not going to be easy for her. And she had nothing to fight for anyway as she had already learned all that she could reasonably pay for.

She didn't want fight, even as she was being tied down to a torture rack.

"Oh being cooperative are you?" Asked Talia, with a hint of surprise on her smirking face. "Well then lets skipped to the good part. Who am I?"
