His friend had already left the lecture hall, as he was kinda busy at the moment, so Sel walked through the hallways on his own.\n\nSel quickly left the building and wandered across the campus, his footpaws guiding him on their own. The premises were nearly empty, so no other fur bothered him on his way to his car. From the day he had met Oliver on, he tried to park his car in the same alley where he had met him, at least whenever it was possible.\n\nUnfortunately, he hadn’t had much luck yet. The wolf boy hadn’t shown up again, and Sel hadn’t seen him around town either. His hopes began to fade away slowly. The change in illumination as he entered the dark street wasn’t able to pull him out of his thoughts, but eventually something else did. His head shot up and he perked his ears, frowning as he realized what the sound was: Someone was whimpering, sobbing behind his car.\n\nThe panther hesitated, but eventually decided that he couldn’t simply ignore the sounds. He walked around his car, and as the source of the noise came into view, he immediately stopped in his tracks. A very familiar wolf cub, his dark gray fur blending well with the darkness, leaned against Sel’s car with his head hanging down.\n\n“Ollie...” the panther whispered.\n\nThe pup’s head shot up as he heard the voice, and his blue eyes stared at Sel in surprise. The adult gasped as he saw Oliver’s face – one of Ollie’s eyes was swollen, with heavy violet bruises spreading over the area around it.\n\n“What… what happened to you, ‘lil guy?”\n\n“Nothin’...” the cub mumbled weakly.\n\nSel wasn’t entirely sure how to act properly in this situation, so he did what he thought was right. He clumsily sat down on the floor, right next to the cub, and put his paw on Ollie’s shoulder.\n\n“Don’t worry, Ollie. Luckily, the guy behind the counter didn’t pay much attention to them, and so they were able to receive their food and drive off without any strange looks.\n\nAn excited yelp came from the passenger seat as Sel put the bags of food down on the pup’s lap.
