Original Story by: Flamedj123", "writing": "The Protector’s Hidden Roots part 3\n\nThis is the sequel to A New Power Arising and The Chosen Protector please read that before reading this or else you won’t understand what is happening.\n\nAs Flame was walking with the Bulbasaur, the warm sun was shining down on them, there was also a gentle breeze flowing through the terrain as Flame’s robe danced with the breeze. Flame happened to glance down at the grass poke’mon; he noticed there were burn marks that could be seen over his body.\n\n“What’s your name?” Flame asked.\n\n“The name’s Tyler.” The Bulbasaur answered.\n\n“Well Tyler, where did you get those burn marks?” Flame asked curiously and worried about how he got those.\n\n“I got these from a scrap that I got involved in a few days ago.” Tyler sneered.\n\n“How did you get involved in something like that?” Flame asked.\n\n“Two of my other friends, a Grovyle and a Beedrill, were walking down a “dark” part of the area that we live in. It was just weird to me, because out of nowhere a Charizard and a Magmar appeared and attacked us. We didn’t stand a chance since they attacked us first and they had the surprise against us. All three of us went down after their powerful attack. Luckily for us other tribe members saw what happened and rushed to the scene and help us. The Charizard and Magmar fled the scene before fellow tribe members arrived. But either the Charaizard or Magmar said “Be careful of what you do from now on” it was really strange to hear it, also none of us understood what it meant.” Tyler explained.\n\n“That actually happened?” Flame questioned with a shock in his question.\n\n“Yeah, that’s how it went down.” Tyler said.\n\n“Well, I do hope to straighten out things between yourselves.” Flame said.\n\n“Heh...”  Tyler chucked a little, “good luck” Tyler said.\n\nFlame didn’t respond to what Tyler had said and continued to walk with him to where Tyler was leading him to.\n\nMeanwhile, Serene was walking with the Charmander, sun shining down and a gentle breeze was whisking by.\n\n“So what’s you name?” Serene asked.\n\n“My name is Chris.” The Charmander responded.\n\n“That’s a nice name. How did tensions rise between Tribe of Grass and Hell Blazers?” Serene said.\n\n“I got word of an incident that occurred a few days ago. What happened was two of our officials was ambushed what was said to be poke’mon from the Tribe of Grass. That’s not the worst part of it either, one of our officials was “kidnapped” and we are still on the search for her as well. So far our search has no results and we haven’t turned up any clues yet either. But we are still trying our best to find her.” Chris explained.\n\n“Well...I do hope I can help you out in your search.” Serene said sincerely.\n\n“Same here, we need her back very soon as well.” Chris said.\n\nSerene and Chris continued their walking to the destination they were going to. The two of them came to a small area. Chris pointed forward and said “There! That’s where we need to go.” Fire-type poke’mon were walking around the area, Serene knew that she was lead to where the Hell Blazers were. Chris and Serene kept walking to the small village like area till the two of them walked up to two guards, an Infernape and a Magmar. The two guards could be noted as guards to what they were wearing, a red armband on their right arms and a red bandana wrapped around their necks.\n\n“Who goes there?” The Infernape asked.\n\n“Chris, fourth division scout and Protector, guest.” Chris answered.\n\n“Who gave you permission to bring a guest?” The Magmar questioned.\n\n“No permission was officially given; it was out of my own will.” Tyler said.\n\n“So that’s the case then. Well “Protector” what brings you here?” The Magmar asked.\n\n“I was assigned by my Elders to try resolve or stop the fighting.” Serene answered. The Infernape and Magmar laughed at what Serene had said to them.\n\n“Hold it hold it, are you telling me that you yourself is going to stop this war?!” The Infernape asked while laughing a little.\n\n“No, not by myself, I have my husband and partner to help as well.” Serene answered calmly.\n\n“You’re married?” The Magmar asked confused about what Serene had said.\n\n“Yes I am married.” Serene sighed and showed her ring on her left hand to the Magmar. The Magmar looked at the ring and was a little surprised about it.\n\n“Can we please go through now? We are in a hurry.” Chris said.\n\n“Hmm...You can pass,” The Infernape answered “but you need to get permission next time.”\n\n“Of course I will next time.” Chris said. The guards stepped out of the way of Chris and Serene. Tyler was leading Flame through the Tribe of Grass’s village, many different species of grass-type poke’mon were busily moving about the village. A lot of the poke’mon were looking at Flame strangely, wondering what business he had there. It seemed that Flame and Tyler were walking through one of the busy parts busier parts of the village like a market place of some kind. Grass poke’mon were shouting randomly to try and get attention drawn to their shop for business.\n\n“Just keep moving...What is your actual name?” Tyler asked.\n\n“My name is Flame, Flame the Protector.” Flame said.\n\n“Flame you say? How did you get that name?” Tyler asked another question.\n\n“Well I don’t remember my actual name, but I adopted the name of Flame somehow. I think it was more based on my spirit of defending. I would never give up on protecting, like a fire that couldn’t be put out no matter what happened. So that’s probably one way that I have this name.” Flame explained to Tyler.\n\n“That’s interesting Flame.” Tyler said.\n\n“I guess so Tyler.” Flame commented.\n\nThey had continued walking to where Tyler needed to go. They walked out of the market place and the noise died down.\n\n“We are almost there now Flame, just need to make a left up here and then a right farther down and we are there.” Tyler said.\n\n“That’s great to hear.” Flame said.\n\nThey turned left into an alleyway and keep walking down the pathway. Then after a couple of moments of walking down the alleyway they made a right turn. They saw a set of stairs that lead down to what seemed like an underground cavern, Tyler walked down the stairs and Flame followed him down.\n\n“The reason why high people of our village would be in a place like this is for their own safety and protection against intruders.” Tyler commented.\n\n“That makes perfect sense.” Flame said.\n\n“Battle stations! Get prepared for battle now!” A Roserade was shouting while running down the hallway in the opposite direction Flame and Tyler were walking.\n\n“Hold on! What’s going on?!” Tyler asked the Roserade.\n\n“It’s terrible, we are under attack on the eastern side of the village!” The Roserade replied.\n\n“What already?! This is too soon...Flame! I need you to help out defend our village.” Tyler said.\n\n“Alright, I’ll assist as much as possible. But we need to hurry.” Flame said.\n\n“Lead the way Roserade.” Tyler said.\n\n“The name is Ruby, and I’ll lead the way to the attack. Follow me now!” Ruby said as she ran down the hallway. Flame and Tyler followed Ruby back down the hallway and moved back to the surface of the village. “My name is Chris.” The Charmander responded.

“That’s a nice name. How did tensions rise between Tribe of Grass and Hell Blazers?” Serene said.

“It’s terrible, we are under attack on the eastern side of the village!” The Roserade replied.

“What already?! This is too soon...Flame! I need you to help out defend our village.” Tyler said.

“Alright, I’ll assist as much as possible. But we need to hurry.” Flame said.

“Lead the way Roserade.” Tyler said.

“The name is Ruby, and I’ll lead the way to the attack. Follow me now!” Ruby said as she ran down the hallway. Flame and Tyler followed Ruby back down the hallway and moved back to the surface of the village. Explosions could be heard as the three of them kept moving to the east.

“Who is attacking?” Tyler asked.

“Well from the word I got. It has to be either; Hell Blazers or Earth Warriors...Or even both of them if they united.” Ruby said with a chill running down her spine.
