Original Story by: Flamedj123", "writing": "A New Power Arising part 8\n\nThis is the sequel to The Chosen Protector, please read that before reading this or you will not understand what is going on here. If you have read it already, please enjoy this next installment.\n\nAs the tear was falling down Serene’s face, she made a psychic barrier around her arms and clashed with Flame’s robotic armor. They were face to face with each other, staring deeply into each others eyes. After a few moments struggling to push each other back, Flame managed to push Serene away from him. But Serene instantly came back on the offensive, swinging her custom made psychic blades she made for herself. Flame’s eyes flashed white and he began to parry all of her attacks. But he was taking steps backwards to make sure he is safer from her barrage of attacks, but Serene took steps forward to keep up her barrage of attacks. After a few tense moments of Serene’s barrage, Flame quickly used his robotic blades to counter one of Serene’s psychic blades which caused an impact on Serene’s right arm, which caused her arm to be sent upwards. Then Flame quickly spun around and kicked Serene in her stomach and made her slide back a little. She quickly looked back at Flame and then shoved both of her psychic blades at Flame, but Flame just used his robotic blades to slice Serene’s psychic blades in half. \n\nSerene growled at Flame, then she stuck her hand at him and tried to use Disable on him, a blue aura appeared around Flame, but nothing happened and then Flame dashed at Serene and tackled her to the ground. Serene impacted the ground hard and was sliding on the stadium floor with Flame on top of her, she quickly teleported right above Flame and stomped him into the ground, since they were still sliding somewhat, Serene looked like she was riding a skateboard. She giggled a little bit and then jumped off of him and tried to use Psychic. After the attack impacted Flame’s armor from behind, all that was there was a dent. Flame quickly got up after being hit by her attack and then dashed at her again. Serene side-stepped to avoid Flame’s robotic blade from cutting her, and then tripped him and he fell on the ground. Serene tried once again to use Psychic on the same area the first time she used it. The result was a bigger dent. \n\n“Grr, nothing is working against that armor!” Serene shouted.\n\nMeanwhile, Tim, Kage, Sage, and Squads 1, 2, 3 and 5 were busy taking care of any guard, defense, or robot that came there way. They were busy hotwiring the base to explode on a certain time, Tim was an expert on demolitions apparently and hacked the main computer’s mainframe and set it to “Self Destruct Mode”. Now they were all running through the base, trying to find any technology and make sure no one else could use it before the base blows up or to use the tech and try to develop their own research. All of them acquired information on the M26FC, BCM1, PSG, and even the Psyjam ABX prototype. All of them were shocked when they learned about this technology that humans would develop just to capture poke’mon. \n\n“Hey Tim. How much time do we have until the base detonates?” Sage asked worryingly.\n\n“Hmm, we have about 25 minutes left. We must hurry and rescue Flame and bring Serene back as well!” Tim said.\n\n“Agreed, the other group already knows and they are going to take care of the last generator they need to destroy and then teleport out of the base. But we must find Serene and Flame.” Kage said.\n\n“Yeah, now let’s hurry!” Tim said. Kage and Sage led everyone throughout the base in search of the Protectors.\n\n“Alright Ice, here is the last generator! Now just-...” Noel was interrupted by Ice’s slicing of the generator. “Done!” Ice said and laughed a little. \n\n“Wow, that was quick...” Noel said stunned at his speed.\n\n“Only one of the best is all...” Ice said gloating about it.\n\nNoel coughs “Um yeah sure, whatever you say.” Noel said jokingly.\n\n“Oh you’re real funny; you should be a comedian someday.” Ice said sarcastically.\n\n“Who knows? Maybe I will someday.” Noel said.\n\n“We can discuss this later, we need to hurry and get out of here.” Ice said.\n\n“Of course. Everyone teleports out of the base now!” Noel said commandingly. Everyone teleported outside of the base and Noel teleported Ice out as well. After a few moments have passed, all of them arrived outside of the base and now were waiting for everyone else.\n\n“This is Noel Kage and Sage. We have successfully destroyed all of the generators and now standing by.” Noel said to the two of them telepathically.\n\n“Roger that Noel, we are currently on the search for Flame and Serene, I think we will find them shortly as a matter of fact...Wait hold on. Ah! We have found them. Well, we found Serene at least, she is behind a very thick metal door that need a key code of some kind before access can be gained.” Kage explained.\n\n“Roger that, we will be standing by outside waiting for you then...Over and out.” Noel said.\n\n“Hey Tim I need you to hack the keypad and get us into this room.” Kage said.\n\n“Oh? Okay, well this is going to take some time since I don’t know the code. So I have to try thousands of possibilities to open the door. It will take some time as well...” Tim said.\n\n“That’s fine just hurry!” Sage said.\n\n“You got it!” Tim said and then took a deep breath, stepped closer to the keypad and then furiously typed in random codes he tried thinking of. The keypad kept making an annoying buzzing sound every time Tim got the code wrong. But Tim didn’t give up and kept typing in codes and continued to get it wrong.\n\nSerene just slammed Flame into a wall, his armor still holding up strongly against her attacks. Serene was panting from the exhaustion from all of the attacks she has been using against Flame. After Flame pulled himself out of the wall his armor cracked a little bit and parts of it fell off of him. \n\n“Hm? Ah! I just have to keep this up and then I should be able to bring Flame back!” Serene said happily and she now had a smile on her face. A loud laughter echoed the room, “Good luck trying to bring him back Protector!” the voice continued to laugh and then faded out.\n\n“I’ll show you Boss!” Serene shouted.\n\n“What? You know my name? Impressive, but not enough to save you!” The Boss said over the intercom. “Now Flame, finish her off already so we can move on.” The Boss commanded. \n\nFlame nodded and dashed at a great speed at Serene and then when he was right in front of Serene he teleported behind her and then kicked her into the air. Serene yelped in pain, Flame then leaped after her and then punched Serene square in the back and sent her crashing down into the ground. Serene laid their, breathing, but her body is weak from her exhaustion. Flame landed on the ground and then slowly walked up to Serene. Serene was struggling to get up on her feet, her arms shaking trying to raise her body, but to no avail she couldn’t get up and was on her knees.\n\n“C’mon Tim! You can do it!” Kage said trying to be supportive.\n\n“I am trying!” Tim shouted as he continued to type furiously trying to figure out the right code. The buzzing noise continued to sound off because Tim continued to get it wrong. After a few more moments of Tim’s typing, a different noise sounded off and the door slide open. \n\n“Alright I finally got it Tim shouted!”\n\n“Nice job Tim!” Kage said and then he had a shocked look on his face. Then it suddenly turned tensed and he teleported away. Flame was grabbing Serene’s neck and was holding her in mid-air. Serene was gasping for air as she was holding onto Flame’s arm with both of her hands, struggling to get out. Kage teleported closer to Flame and then kicked Flame from his left side and sent him flying back, Flame letting go of Serene on impact and then Kage catching her before she hit the ground.\n\n“Serene are you alright?!” Kage asked her worryingly.\n\n“Yes I am fine.” Serene said coughing “All I need you to do is rip off the Flame’s armor or destroy it and then I can bring Flame back to normal.”\n\n“That’s all? Understood my lady” Kage said nodding at Serene. He gently put Serene back on her feet and then extended his mighty blades on his elbow and then ran towards Flame. Flame got up on his feet and then dashed at Kage ready to attack him. Both of the collided with each other’s blades and then a loud clanging noise echoed throughout the room. Flame and Kage were staring each other down as the both of their blades were still clashing against each other. Kage pushed Flame’s blades up towards the roof and then tripped him and began to beat up Flame’s armor, trying to break it. Flame fell on the ground and was being punched rapidly by Kage. Flame tried to block any punch he could from Kage’s barrage of punches. Each punch Kage landed dented Flame’s armor, and even Flame’s robotic blades had dents in them. Kage didn’t let up for a split second; he continued this, panting from exhaustion of moving his arms so fast for a good period of time. Kage took a few swings from the side to try and get the armor of that way, after a few moments of trying this out, he successfully punched off Flame’s chest plate he had on. Then shortly after he removed parts of his arm and leg armor as well.\n\n“That’s it Kage! Keep that up and then we can leave this base and then have Flame back to normal!” Serene shouted happily.\n\n“C’mon Kage, you can do this...” Sage said to himself. Some of the other squad members began to teleport out of the base and headed outside to meet with the other group. Tim was standing there, in awe watching Kage move so quick.\n\n“Hey Sage, I never knew Kage could move so fast...” Tim said.\n\n“Well, he doesn’t fight too often anymore because it isn’t necessary. I am even shocked that he could move this fast. I guess he trains a lot of something.” Sage said to Tim.\n\n“Oh okay...” Tim said.\n\nAfter a few more moments of Kage’s barrage, the only thing that was left on Flame’s armor was his helmet and his armor on his blades. Kage finally stopped and then jumped back, he did a back-flip in mid-air and then landed on his two feet.\n\n“Thanks Kage, that will be enough for me to take care of now.” Serene said to Kage.\n\n“Of course my lady, it was a pleasure being of service to you.” Kage said while panting. Flame slowly got up on his two feet and then he began to shake a little bit. Serene pointed her hand at Flame and then removed the armor on his arms and even his helmet, it only took a matter of seconds to do this. Flame’s body was covered in cuts and bruises and his eyes were white instead of red which shocked everyone who saw this.\n\n“No way...!” Kage said in awe.\n\n“Oh my...” Serene said shocked.\n\n“How did that happen...?” Sage said confusingly.\n\n“...” Tim was silent.\n\n“Time to bring you back Flame...” Serene said as she closed her eyes and her necklace flashed a bright white light and Serene’s body began to change. Hey body was glowing a white aura all around her, her eyes turned into a darker blue and then her wedding dress was flapping like there was wind hitting it, but there wasn’t any wind hitting it. \n\nKage, Sage, and Tim were all staring at Serene in awe of her transformation. Serene’s back begun to glow a little bit brighter and then two white, majestic wings grew out of her back and she slowly flapped them behind her. Kage’s mouth was opened, shocked more than ever at Serene’s transformation. Tim’s mouth was also open, his eyes wide and his arms slumped, and he was truly shocked at a sight to see. Sage couldn’t stop looking at Serene for a second, not even blinking. Serene looked like an angel from a poke’mon Heaven of some kind, majestic, beautiful, and definitely a sight to behold.\n\nShe looked directly at Flame and then stuck her hand out at him and encased him in a white bubble. Flame was frozen in Serene’s bubble, and then Serene made everyone’s body glow white and then teleported outside of the base.\n\nAfter a few moments of the teleportation, everyone arrived outside of the base. Everyone was in shock when they saw Serene “Everyone, teleport back to the Guardian City now. I will be there shortly as well.” Serene said to everyone. Everyone nodded and then flashed white and one by one, all of the poke’mon were teleporting away.\n\nSerene took another look at Flame and then her eyes flashed a dark blue and then Flame’s body was instantly being healed from all of his wounds from the battle. Even his eyes returned to a normal red color. \n\n“Welcome back Flame.” Serene said as she released Flame from the bubble.\n\n“Uh...Where am I? Serene? Is that you?!” Flame said in awe as he was staring at Serene.\n\n“Yes, it is me, I am glad to have you back now. You have been gone for quite some time now. But we must be leaving right now Flame, before the base explodes!” Serene said.\n\n“Oh of course, get us out of here if you don’t mind?” Flame said.\n\n“Don’t worry, I will.” Serene said as she picked up Flame and took off to the sky, using her new found wings to fly.\n\n“Oh wow Serene! This is pretty cool!” Flame said stunned by Serene’s flying abilities. Serene was silent as she continued to fly through the bright blue sky, filled with clouds and sunshine. Only after a few moments passed, the base erupted in a fiery explosion that could be seen for miles away. Shortly after, smoke filled the area around the base and the sounds of sirens echoed in the distance, responding to the explosion.\n\n“I guess this is finally all over Serene...” Flame sighed happily.\n\n“Yes it is, and I am glad it finally is over as well.” Serene said. “Now let’s head home and be welcomed back to everyone.\n\n“Sure thing hon.Thanks for saving me back there, I don’t know where I would be right now if you didn’t...” Flame said as he looked away from Serene.\n\n“I wouldn’t want to find out Flame...” Serene said fading out in her speech.\n\n“I didn’t hurt you too bad now did I when I was being controlled?” Flame asked worryingly.\n\n“No you didn’t Flame. But if Kage didn’t show up I think you would’ve killed me though.” Serene said saddened by the thought.\n\n“That would’ve been horrible for me because when I was fighting you while being controlled I could see everything that was happening, but I couldn’t do anything to change it.” Flame said in a sad tone.\n\n“Well, everything is fine now, we can all move on from this horrid experience.” Serene said in a hopeful tone.\n\nSerene continued to carry Flame while flying off in the sun-filled sky. Soon, they arrived back at the Guardian City and Serene flew the both of them to the Palace where the Elders were. Serene landed at the front door and then put Flame down.\n\n“Thanks for the ride Serene.” Flame said and then leaned in and kissed Serene on the lips.\n\n“It was my pleasure Flame, now let’s head inside and be greeted by the Elders!” Serene said excitingly.\n\n“Yes my love.” Flame said as he opened the door for Serene to walk in first, she blushed a little bit and stepped through the door. Flame followed closely behind and closed the door behind him. The two of them walked straight into the room where the Elders usually reside in. All of the Elders were in shock to see Serene in her new form and Flame back safe and sound.\n\n“Serene, Flame! Good to have you two back home! All of us were wondering when you would get back.” Aero said cheerfully as he teleported next to Flame and Serene.\n\nBlizz and Elegon also teleported next to them. “Oh my Serene, where did you get these wings from?” Blizz asked Serene as she was examining her wings carefully.\n\n“I got them from the transformation from my necklace Blizz.” Serene answered her question.\n\n“Should’ve guessed that you got it from that.” Elegon said.\n\n‘Ahh...It feels good to be back home.” Flame said with a smile on his face.\n\n“Oh yes of course Flame. We must have a celebration for your return to the city!” Aero said excited, and already thinking about it.\n\n“Heh heh...” Flame laughed a little “That isn’t necessary you know?” \n\n“Bah, “not necessary” can you believe that Elegon?” Aero asked.\n\n“Somewhat, yes actually. But nevertheless we are going to have a celebration of your return Flame. Everyone in the entire city was worried about you!” Elegon said.\n\n“So we are going to plan a welcoming party where everyone in the city is invited to come Flame!” Blizz said.\n\n“Um, okay? But don’t you think this is a little too much though?” Flame asked.\n\n“Nonsense Flame, we shall begin preparations immediately for you.” Aero said.\n\n“Alright then...Go ahead and begin setting up then.” Flame said.\n\n“With pleasure Flame!” Blizz said. All of the Elders teleported out of the room.\n\n“I think I am going to go back to our house and rest up Serene.” Flame said yawning.\n\n“I’ll come with you Flame.” Serene said eagerly.\n\n“Sure, sure. I just need some sleep is all...” Flame said drowsily.\n\n“Okay.” Serene said as she teleported Flame and herself back at their house, in their bedroom, under their sheets and blankets.\n\n“Goodnight Serene.” Flame said and he instantly fell asleep.\n\n“Goodnight Flame.” Serene said as she fell asleep shortly after, cuddling next to Flame.\n\nIt was finally time for the welcoming party to be thrown for Flame.It was the biggest party thrown of all time for the Guardian City. Everyone was there, welcoming Flame back from his disappearance. All of the residents had a wonderful time, eating, socializing with everyone, playing party games, dancing to the music that was being played, and this party lasted until nightfall. After about 3am in the morning, that is when everyone was finally gone from the area that the party was being thrown at. “Alright Ice, here is the last generator! Now just-...” Noel was interrupted by Ice’s slicing of the generator. “Done!” Ice said and laughed a little.

“Wow, that was quick...” Noel said stunned at his speed.

“Only one of the best is all...” Ice said gloating about it.

Noel coughs “Um yeah sure, whatever you say.” Noel said jokingly.

“Oh you’re real funny; you should be a comedian someday.” Ice said sarcastically.

“Who knows? Maybe I will someday.” Noel said.

“We can discuss this later, we need to hurry and get out of here.” Ice said.

“Of course. Everyone teleports out of the base now!” Noel said commandingly. Everyone teleported outside of the base and Noel teleported Ice out as well. After a few moments have passed, all of them arrived outside of the base and now were waiting for everyone else.

“This is Noel Kage and Sage. We have successfully destroyed all of the generators and now standing by.” Noel said to the two of them telepathically.

“Roger that Noel, we are currently on the search for Flame and Serene, I think we will find them shortly as a matter of fact...Wait hold on. Ah! We have found them. Well, we found Serene at least, she is behind a very thick metal door that need a key code of some kind before access can be gained.” Kage explained.

“Roger that, we will be standing by outside waiting for you then...Over and out.” Noel said.

“Hey Tim I need you to hack the keypad and get us into this room.” Kage said.

“Oh? Okay, well this is going to take some time since I don’t know the code. So I have to try thousands of possibilities to open the door. It will take some time as well...” Tim said.

“That’s fine just hurry!” Sage said.

“You got it!” Tim said and then took a deep breath, stepped closer to the keypad and then furiously typed in random codes he tried thinking of. The keypad kept making an annoying buzzing sound every time Tim got the code wrong. But Tim didn’t give up and kept typing in codes and continued to get it wrong.

Serene just slammed Flame into a wall, his armor still holding up strongly against her attacks. Serene was panting from the exhaustion from all of the attacks she has been using against Flame. After Flame pulled himself out of the wall his armor cracked a little bit and parts of it fell off of him.

“Hm? Ah! I just have to keep this up and then I should be able to bring Flame back!” Serene said happily and she now had a smile on her face. A loud laughter echoed the room, “Good luck trying to bring him back Protector!” the voice continued to laugh and then faded out.

“I’ll show you Boss!” Serene shouted.

“What? You know my name? Impressive, but not enough to save you!” The Boss said over the intercom. “Now Flame, finish her off already so we can move on.” The Boss commanded.

Flame nodded and dashed at a great speed at Serene and then when he was right in front of Serene he teleported behind her and then kicked her into the air. Serene yelped in pain, Flame then leaped after her and then punched Serene square in the back and sent her crashing down into the ground. Serene laid their, breathing, but her body is weak from her exhaustion. Flame landed on the ground and then slowly walked up to Serene. Serene was struggling to get up on her feet, her arms shaking trying to raise her body, but to no avail she couldn’t get up and was on her knees.

“C’mon Tim! You can do it!” Kage said trying to be supportive.

“I am trying!” Tim shouted as he continued to type furiously trying to figure out the right code. The buzzing noise continued to sound off because Tim continued to get it wrong. After a few more moments of Tim’s typing, a different noise sounded off and the door slide open.

“Alright I finally got it Tim shouted!”

“Nice job Tim!” Kage said and then he had a shocked look on his face. Then it suddenly turned tensed and he teleported away. Flame was grabbing Serene’s neck and was holding her in mid-air. Serene was gasping for air as she was holding onto Flame’s arm with both of her hands, struggling to get out. Kage teleported closer to Flame and then kicked Flame from his left side and sent him flying back, Flame letting go of Serene on impact and then Kage catching her before she hit the ground.

“Serene are you alright?!” Kage asked her worryingly.

“Yes I am fine.” Serene said coughing “All I need you to do is rip off the Flame’s armor or destroy it and then I can bring Flame back to normal.”

“That’s all? Understood my lady” Kage said nodding at Serene. He gently put Serene back on her feet and then extended his mighty blades on his elbow and then ran towards Flame. Flame got up on his feet and then dashed at Kage ready to attack him. Both of the collided with each other’s blades and then a loud clanging noise echoed throughout the room. Flame and Kage were staring each other down as the both of their blades were still clashing against each other. Kage pushed Flame’s blades up towards the roof and then tripped him and began to beat up Flame’s armor, trying to break it. Flame fell on the ground and was being punched rapidly by Kage. Flame tried to block any punch he could from Kage’s barrage of punches. Each punch Kage landed dented Flame’s armor, and even Flame’s robotic blades had dents in them. Kage didn’t let up for a split second; he continued this, panting from exhaustion of moving his arms so fast for a good period of time. Kage took a few swings from the side to try and get the armor of that way, after a few moments of trying this out, he successfully punched off Flame’s chest plate he had on. Then shortly after he removed parts of his arm and leg armor as well.

“That’s it Kage! Keep that up and then we can leave this base and then have Flame back to normal!” Serene shouted happily.

“C’mon Kage, you can do this...” Sage said to himself. Some of the other squad members began to teleport out of the base and headed outside to meet with the other group. Tim was standing there, in awe watching Kage move so quick.

“Hey Sage, I never knew Kage could move so fast...” Tim said.

“Well, he doesn’t fight too often anymore because it isn’t necessary. I am even shocked that he could move this fast. I guess he trains a lot of something.” Sage said to Tim.

“Oh okay...” Tim said.

After a few more moments of Kage’s barrage, the only thing that was left on Flame’s armor was his helmet and his armor on his blades. Kage finally stopped and then jumped back, he did a back-flip in mid-air and then landed on his two feet.

“Thanks Kage, that will be enough for me to take care of now.” Serene said to Kage.

“Of course my lady, it was a pleasure being of service to you.” Kage said while panting. Flame slowly got up on his two feet and then he began to shake a little bit. Serene pointed her hand at Flame and then removed the armor on his arms and even his helmet, it only took a matter of seconds to do this. Flame’s body was covered in cuts and bruises and his eyes were white instead of red which shocked everyone who saw this.

“No way...!” Kage said in awe.

“Oh my...” Serene said shocked.

“How did that happen...?” Sage said confusingly.

“...” Tim was silent.

“Time to bring you back Flame...” Serene said as she closed her eyes and her necklace flashed a bright white light and Serene’s body began to change. Hey body was glowing a white aura all around her, her eyes turned into a darker blue and then her wedding dress was flapping like there was wind hitting it, but there wasn’t any wind hitting it.

Kage, Sage, and Tim were all staring at Serene in awe of her transformation. Serene’s back begun to glow a little bit brighter and then two white, majestic wings grew out of her back and she slowly flapped them behind her. Kage’s mouth was opened, shocked more than ever at Serene’s transformation. Tim’s mouth was also open, his eyes wide and his arms slumped, and he was truly shocked at a sight to see. Sage couldn’t stop looking at Serene for a second, not even blinking. Serene looked like an angel from a poke’mon Heaven of some kind, majestic, beautiful, and definitely a sight to behold.

She looked directly at Flame and then stuck her hand out at him and encased him in a white bubble. Flame was frozen in Serene’s bubble, and then Serene made everyone’s body glow white and then teleported outside of the base.

After a few moments of the teleportation, everyone arrived outside of the base. Everyone was in shock when they saw Serene “Everyone, teleport back to the Guardian City now. I will be there shortly as well.” Serene said to everyone. Everyone nodded and then flashed white and one by one, all of the poke’mon were teleporting away.

Serene took another look at Flame and then her eyes flashed a dark blue and then Flame’s body was instantly being healed from all of his wounds from the battle. Even his eyes returned to a normal red color.

“Welcome back Flame.” Serene said as she released Flame from the bubble.

“Uh...Where am I? Serene? Is that you?!” Flame said in awe as he was staring at Serene.

“Yes, it is me, I am glad to have you back now. You have been gone for quite some time now. But we must be leaving right now Flame, before the base explodes!” Serene said.

“Oh of course, get us out of here if you don’t mind?” Flame said.

“Don’t worry, I will.” Serene said as she picked up Flame and took off to the sky, using her new found wings to fly.

“Oh wow Serene! This is pretty cool!” Flame said stunned by Serene’s flying abilities. Serene was silent as she continued to fly through the bright blue sky, filled with clouds and sunshine. Only after a few moments passed, the base erupted in a fiery explosion that could be seen for miles away. Shortly after, smoke filled the area around the base and the sounds of sirens echoed in the distance, responding to the explosion.

“I guess this is finally all over Serene...” Flame sighed happily.

“Yes it is, and I am glad it finally is over as well.” Serene said. “Now let’s head home and be welcomed back to everyone.

“Sure thing hon.Thanks for saving me back there, I don’t know where I would be right now if you didn’t...” Flame said as he looked away from Serene.

“I wouldn’t want to find out Flame...” Serene said fading out in her speech.

“I didn’t hurt you too bad now did I when I was being controlled?” Flame asked worryingly.

“No you didn’t Flame. But if Kage didn’t show up I think you would’ve killed me though.” Serene said saddened by the thought.

“That would’ve been horrible for me because when I was fighting you while being controlled I could see everything that was happening, but I couldn’t do anything to change it.” Flame said in a sad tone.

“Well, everything is fine now, we can all move on from this horrid experience.” Serene said in a hopeful tone.

Serene continued to carry Flame while flying off in the sun-filled sky. Soon, they arrived back at the Guardian City and Serene flew the both of them to the Palace where the Elders were. Serene landed at the front door and then put Flame down.

“Thanks for the ride Serene.” Flame said and then leaned in and kissed Serene on the lips.

“It was my pleasure Flame, now let’s head inside and be greeted by the Elders!” Serene said excitingly.

“Yes my love.” Flame said as he opened the door for Serene to walk in first, she blushed a little bit and stepped through the door. Flame followed closely behind and closed the door behind him. The two of them walked straight into the room where the Elders usually reside in. All of the Elders were in shock to see Serene in her new form and Flame back safe and sound.

“Serene, Flame! Good to have you two back home! All of us were wondering when you would get back.” Aero said cheerfully as he teleported next to Flame and Serene.

Blizz and Elegon also teleported next to them. “Oh my Serene, where did you get these wings from?” Blizz asked Serene as she was examining her wings carefully.

“I got them from the transformation from my necklace Blizz.” Serene answered her question.

“Should’ve guessed that you got it from that.” Elegon said.

‘Ahh...It feels good to be back home.” Flame said with a smile on his face.

“Oh yes of course Flame. We must have a celebration for your return to the city!” Aero said excited, and already thinking about it.

“Heh heh...” Flame laughed a little “That isn’t necessary you know?”

“Bah, “not necessary” can you believe that Elegon?” Aero asked.

“Somewhat, yes actually. But nevertheless we are going to have a celebration of your return Flame. Everyone in the entire city was worried about you!” Elegon said.

“So we are going to plan a welcoming party where everyone in the city is invited to come Flame!” Blizz said.

“Um, okay? But don’t you think this is a little too much though?” Flame asked.

“Nonsense Flame, we shall begin preparations immediately for you.” Aero said.

“Alright then...Go ahead and begin setting up then.” Flame said.

“With pleasure Flame!” Blizz said. All of the Elders teleported out of the room.

“I think I am going to go back to our house and rest up Serene.” Flame said yawning.

“I’ll come with you Flame.” Serene said eagerly.

“Sure, sure. I just need some sleep is all...” Flame said drowsily.

“Okay.” Serene said as she teleported Flame and herself back at their house, in their bedroom, under their sheets and blankets.

“Goodnight Serene.” Flame said and he instantly fell asleep.

“Goodnight Flame.” Serene said as she fell asleep shortly after, cuddling next to Flame.

It was finally time for the welcoming party to be thrown for Flame.It was the biggest party thrown of all time for the Guardian City. Everyone was there, welcoming Flame back from his disappearance. All of the residents had a wonderful time, eating, socializing with everyone, playing party games, dancing to the music that was being played, and this party lasted until nightfall. After about 3am in the morning, that is when everyone was finally gone from the area that the party was being thrown at. Everyone was tired that day, and the entire town was asleep around that time...
