"The war has ended in Mobius. Dr. Eggman has just been defeated by Sonic the Hedgehog and the Resistance. But peace has not fully returned...
For the last couple months, the Restoration Force has sent multiple teams of heroes to stabilize pockets of chaos still lingering in the wake of Eggman's near conquering of the planet. Most who can fight are usually with the Restoration force.
But not me.
Don't get the wrong idea, I'm not into the lone wolf act. In fact I keep in touch with them often. Just not officially a part of the group. Now the freedom I have being a more freelance hero works for me just fine. And anytime I see any of the Restoration teams, I never turn down their help. Especially since I'm no Sonic the Hedgehog.
Much as I wish I could be..."
Writing in his journal of stories and thoughts, a dark blue/turquoise hedgehog sat along the coast line watching the sunset. He put down his pen and journal lightly moving his wrist grappler as it was chafing along his wrist. His name was Iohn, the Hedgehog. Wearing a long dye of black covering from his toes and even having a small dash next to his right eye in the shape of a flame. Iohn took a moment to breathe and smell the air.
Iohn took the moment to enjoy the rare moment of calm. So often Iohn has been from one fight to the next for weeks on end. Iohn laid back on the grass with his eyes staring up in the clouds. His face read that of someone in deep thought, thinking about things that had no easy answers.
He was thinking about why is it still so hard to keep the peace? Why is the fight still going on? He thought for sure the world would be a little more settled down after Eggman was defeated. But the fighting didn't really stop. Just new enemies that while small in scale, multiplied like insects.
Iohn closed his eyes, trying to sleep. He felt tired. His last battle was 5 hours ago. Fighting some ruffians that were about to attack a nearby village. He stopped them before they reached it, but it left him feeling a touch sluggish. Not hurt beyond a scratch or two, just needed to get some sleep. Some comfort.
BOOOOOOOM!
Iohn was jolted awake and grabbed his wispon, a fire wispon that provided a mini shield. Running over there Iohn could see the village was under attack. At first Iohn wondered if it was a more coordinated plan than he initially thought. But Iohn's theory about the attack being caused by ruffians were put to rest the moment he saw a chunk of rubble curled into a ball being thrown near 10 feet away about to crush him.
With quick reflexes, Iohn flung his left wrist with his grapple hook sprung out from the wristwatch he was wearing. It latched onto the ground, from there the grapple watch retracted fast enough for Iohn to move out of the way before the ball of debris flattened the hedgehog.
Iohn knew this was going to be a threat much bigger than anything he could take on alone. Iohn tapped into his communicator, calling a Restoration force emergency frequency.
"This is Iohn, lock in on my coordinates! Need backup now!", as Iohn was trying to asses who was causing the destruction, he saw in the distance a wolf with white long furry hair, floating above the city. Upon closer inspection, Iohn recognized it as Entropy the Wolf. Entropy was labeled as a high level threat, never to be engaged without backup.
"Entropy is at my location! Any available teams or heroes please join me here.", Iohn radioed in.
"This is Amy here, I just got a response from Silver. He's heading to your location right away! Can you wait for him?"
"I can't! He's tearing up the center of the village! Throwing the building debris like he's digging in the dirt! I need to engage and distract him now! I'll keep him at bay until Silver makes it here.", Iohn replied.
If Entropy wasn't causing such destruction, Iohn would've made no objection to waiting for backup. But the fact was Entropy kept causing destruction on a single spot. The digging analogy was at first to help visualize to Amy how brazen Entropy's rampage was causing. But upon reading his body language and his direct focus, Iohn's intuition may have been on point.

Above in the sky was the white wolf. Before he was Franklin, a scientist working on manipulating gravity projects with his beloved wife. But after Dr. Eggman attempted to steal it for himself, an accident caused Franklin's device to explode, fusing itself into Franklin's body. But it also caused the death of his wife. The effects of the blast left Franklin with powers to manipulate gravity. However, the trauma left him with a fractured mind resulting in a new, more aggressive personality. Unbeknownst to the heroes who tried to help Franklin they are unaware of the wolf's mental instability. For they only know him now as Entropy.
"The latest intel says there is an Eggman base located at these coordinates. With your power, you'll rip it apart and tear Eggman apart like tissue paper.", Entropy spoke within the psyche of Franklin.
"Been chasing leads for weeks, and this is the best one. He won't expect anyone to burrow directly from above the village itself.", Franklin answered back.
The center of the village continues to be ripped apart chunks at a time like invisible construction tools were uprooting the ground. The more it continued the more any remaining homes that were not directly hit with the discarded debris were shaking from the uneven ground losing its integrity.
"EGGMAN! COME OUT!", the white wolf shouted out.
Then without warning a large blast of fire shoots from below. Franklin formed a gravity field protecting himself, though a bit singed. He looked around, expecting it to be from a robot, only to see a Hedgehog down below with a wispon steaming from the nozzle.
"Just a Restoration grunt."
"Kill him! He's blocking our path!"
"I won't kill him. I'll just send him away."
With a flick of his wrist Franklin saint Iohn flying through the air. The ground from underneath Iohn was lifted then thrown to the side like a pebble. The force of gravity was so fast and heavy, Iohn couldn't move his arms fast enough to aim his grappler. Iohn soon crashed just outside the edge of the village with a chunk of dirt and soil flattening him.
Moments after when the sudden field of gravity left and Iohn could feel like he was able to move his arms normally again, he lifted himself up out of the pile of dirt.
"Ok. Definitely might be fighting out of my league.", Iohn said after feeling some of his joints crack.
Iohn looked back and saw that other mobians were still running from Entropy's destruction. The young Hedgehog looked back at the white wolf, and with a determined look in his eyes, tried to quickly formulate a new plan of attack.

Entropy lowered himself down further into the crater he formed. His scowl could still be noticed even with the green visor goggles hiding his eyes. He focused as he reached out both of his hands forward and readied to unleash more of his powers digging into the ground.
Then running from behind, was Iohn firing a burst of fire aimed squarely at Entropy's gravity device that was fastened to his body. Entropy heard the wispon firing and created a gravity shield just in time before the flame touched him. The blast bounced off the shield being redirected up at the sky where the fire dissipated.
As Entropy turned around, he saw that the young hedgehog disappeared out of sight. Entropy raised his body upward to gain superior height over Iohn in the likelihood they'd be engaged in battle soon.
"If you're with the Restoration force, I have it on good authority there's an Eggman base underneath this village. So either help me or get out of my way!", Franklin shouted out.
Hijacking the local P.A. system in the village Iohn responded to the white wolf.
"I read up on you Franklin. I know how you lost your wife. I want to help you, but if you want to fight Dr. Eggman, endangering the people here isn't how you go about it.", Iohn replied over the loudspeakers around the village.
"YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT FRANKLIN! STAND IN MY WAY AND YOU WILL BE CRUSHED AND DISCARDED LIKE TRASH!"
Iohn was hiding inside one of the houses in the village a block away from Entropy. He could vaguely hear what the wolf was yelling out, but it sounded like he was getting a rise out of him.
"C'mon Franklin, we want to make Eggman pay for what he did to you, so let's touch down on solid earth and talk this over.", Iohn said over the PA system.
Entropy looked around trying to guess where this was coming from. Until he decided to knock over another house in frustration.
Iohn saw Entropy flick away the structure in the distance and knew that this wasn't keeping Entropy distracted the way he intended. So without any further games, Iohn was prepared for his next step in facing the white wolf.
"You think you're dealing with that weak willed wolf?! Franklin may have been soft earlier, but I will not hesitate to bend your bones until they snap like uncooked pasta!"
"NO! We're not killers! We're trying to get Eggman!", Franklin protested within his own mind.
"Shut up Franklin! In times like these the only one you can rely on is me. By the time we finish off Eggman I'll-"
"THINK FAST"
"What?! GAAAAHHHH!"
Entropy suddenly was pulled right out of the air and yanked down. Iohn used a lightning wispon to tie a knot around Entropy's wrist. Prior to when Iohn hijacked the PA speakers, he borrowed the local's basic defense armory. The lightning wispon was not modded with any extra power ups or buffs for the user, but it could be used to keep Entropy tethered to Iohn to ensure he couldn't fly away and squash him from afar this time.
Iohn knows that while Entropy is extremely powerful, he is clearly dependent on his gravity power to do the fighting for him. Iohn's best chance to even subdue him is to get in close and fight him normally. A very dangerous, if not suicidal notion since Entropy could grab Iohn with his power and then crush his body in a gravity field. It was a dangerous gambit, but one Iohn was willing to try if it meant stopping Entropy long enough before reinforcements arrived.
Entropy noticed a stinging yet numb sensation on his left wrist and saw the lightning wispon tether lassoed to him. At first he tried to pull it off with his other hand but the electric shock made getting it off by hand impossible. Entropy looked to Iohn and knew the only way to remove it was to take the wispon out of Iohn's hand forcing it to retract.
With this new strategy in mind, Entropy used multiple gravity waves to force Iohn back or to at least knock the weapon out of the hedgehog's grip. Iohn anticipated this counterattack and used the momentum of the lightning wispon to propel him forward, circling around Entropy at a decent speed. While Iohn was not as fast as Sonic, it would be enough to get Entropy to not be able to easily hit him.
Entropy kept blasting gravity waves around him with the lightning wisp tether circling his wrist more and more, hurting and irritating him further. Entropy tried to send a gravity wave directly in front of Iohn as he ran circles around him. But just at the right timing, Iohn dove right at Entropy. Surprised by the new tactic Entropy was unprepared thinking he'd not be crazy to attack him directly.
Iohn then brought out in his other hand his trusty fire wispon and used the flamethrower and at close range had Entropy cooking like a barbeque. The raging fires from the wispon had Entropy screaming in a mix of terror and anger. The seconds after he felt the fire blasting him at near point blank range, Entropy formed another gravity shield around him blocking the inferno.
Iohn took the moment to run directly behind Entropy, and using his wrist grapple, aimed it right at Entropy's gravity device attached to his back. Entropy was too distracted from the burns he wasn't able to concentrate on forming a shield completely surrounding himself. Thus the quick fire from the wrist grapple allowed Iohn to propel himself and slingshot his body to double kick the device. The force of the kick sent Entropy spinning in mid air and landed right on his back knocking the wind out of him.
The double kick sent Entropy in a rage as he picked himself up. Noticing Iohn was doing the same, Entropy used the moment to pull the lightning wispon out of Iohn's hand. Once Iohn lost his hold on it, the lightning tether retracted and released itself from the white wolf's wrist.
Entropy attempted to lift up his body, but just as he began hovering off the ground. He found himself quickly dropping down. Entropy took a moment to look around his back. He could hear the gravity device hissing and could feel some sparking from his fur. This only served to further anger the wolf as now he was growing infuriated of being put on the defensive by a mere grunt of the Restoration force.
With another flick of his wrist, Entropy had the fire wispon sent flying upward, launching it far out of Iohn's reach.
"You'll pay for damaging my device! This thing is what's keeping us alive! Entropy will deal with you! And Franklin won't have to suffer your existence ever again!"
Iohn wasn't understanding why he spoke in third person. It was like he was losing his mind, he thought.
Entropy was able to use his power to charge directly at Iohn, the dirt and ash from the wreckage was blown away like Entropy was a giant leaf blower. Iohn through fired his grapple again, this time aiming it right at Entropy's head.
The wolf tilted his head out of its path, and was still on a direct path to Iohn. As the grapple had the two going into a collision course. Iohn maneuvered himself to be right on top of Entropy and untethered the grapple just as he was right on top of him. Iohn fired the grapple again and aimed right at Entropy's back again.
However, Entropy, anticipating the hedgehog, would try the same trick again, turned around and managed to grab Iohn within a gravity field halting Iohn in place.
"You may be as quick thinking as Sonic. But you are not him.", Entropy mocked.
"You're right about me being quick thinking.", Iohn replied with a smirk.
Entropy had a look of confusion before he felt something warm behind him. Then a loud shouting emanated from behind the white wolf.
"ROCKET!"
Earlier, the wisp powering the fire wispon Iohn was using, exited the weapon to be able to be utilized for this moment. The fire used during their scuffle was the leftover fuel that was still in the wispon.
Iohn took out the rocket wisp to slap it onto Entropy's back and be able to send him flying off as high as the wisp could.
When the wisp rocket powered up it turned itself into the aforementioned shape, and shot itself, and Entropy directly up to the sky at the speed of sound. Moments after, Iohn fell to the ground normally with the sense of relief and adrenaline that he managed to route Entropy out of the village.
"This is Iohn the Hedgehog, Entropy's been routed out of the village. Please have the reinforcements bring an ambulance."

For what felt like 20 minutes but maybe lasted 10, Iohn laid flat on the ground just waiting for someone to arrive. Shortly after the battle, Iohn received an urgent message.
"Iohn, it's Amy. Silver hasn't checked in yet on his status. Can you head over to his last reported spot and check in with him. I'm having anyone who's available nearby to come to your location and help rebuilding the homes."
"Did Silver run into any trouble? I'll start making my way but I don't have the- SWEET MOBIUS!"
A bunch of rubble was about to clock someone behind their head. Iohn dove in and managed to move the civilian out of the way in time. Iohn assumed Entropy was back already. He called out loud to anyone still in the village to evacuate.
But it wasn't Entropy who was causing the mayhem.
"Ya know, I enjoy ruined villages and homes. But this place needs more broken homes and dead villagers. May not have started the job, but good to warm up for when I find something else nearby.", spoke a tall voluptuous hedgehog.
It was Terios the Protohog. She was notorious for her ability to drain the lifeforce of anyone she touched with any form of physical contact. Usually in the form of unconsented sexual contact. Iohn knew out the gate he was in trouble. Whoever was coming, needed to be there in the next two minutes.

"Oh, who are you? The local law enforcement?", Terios joked as she pointed Iohn out.
"Not a local, but I help enforce the peace whenever I can. Right now, giving you one chance to walk away.", Iohn retorted.
"HAAHAAHAAAHAAA! You must be kidding! You think you can stop me? Plllllease kid, I've killed others that looked more of a challenge than you."
"Well, if I'm dying today, rather be to you than the last guy I fought.", Iohn said trying to fake confidence.
"Ooooohhh. Someone wanna die to a kiss? Tell you what, depending on how long you can outlast me, will let me determine how I'll dispose of you.", Terios smirked.
A morbid way of looking at the situation, but if it could keep her distracted, Iohn gladly accepted the deal.
"Fact is, victory isn't even on the table. Even when I fought Entropy that took all my wits and skill to pull off. Terios is super strong and all she needs is to touch me with any part of her body. So my only tactic is to rely solely on long range.", Iohn thought to himself.
Iohn used his lightning wispon to lash at Terios. The protohog merely shrugged off the lashes without feeling a hint of pain. To an ordinary mobian, those would sting. But someone as powerful as Terios wouldn't be phased by it.
Terios, very clearly holding back, went in for a clothesline punch right at Iohn. The hedgehog, knowing a single touch would spell defeat for him, used the wispon to block the punch from Terios.
Terios already smirked by Iohn's quick thinking and reflexes. Every time she held back this much with someone, they'd always forget to block her blows with something besides their body because of her draining touch. Her mouth held on her crooked smirk from before, showing her sadistic glee in fighting at Iohn's low level.
After a few more swings at Iohn, the hedgehog activated the wispon's main power attack, The Lightspeed Dash.
Iohn used it to zip in a half-circle around Terios, and lassoed one of her ankles with the lightning wispon. With another dash, Iohn zipped around her, this time her left wrist. With two more lightspeed dashes, Iohn managed to lasso Terios and hoisted her up from the ground almost like she was caught in a lightning web.
Iohn looked at the wispon, its energy was tapped out and so was himself.
"Really now? Don't tell me this was your best move here.", Terios said, flexing her body.
She pulled her limbs close together and then snapped out of the lightning lasso Iohn made around her.
Iohn's face twisted to a look of shock and fear, but he still couldn't give up too easily to her.
"Hmmm. With lasting for a full minute huh. Be surprised how often most don't even make it that long.", Terios said checking her watch.
Iohn needed another way to subdue her or keep her still for a longer while. He looked around the area and noticed some of the debris that Entropy threw was stuck above one of the homes, and looked like it could be used to crush Terios.
Iohn then raised both his hands up, "Sorry to disappoint both of us. But I think that was the best I got."
Terios looked almost disappointed, but she slowly walked up to Iohn, applying even some lipstick ready to deliver a draining kiss of death on the young hedgehog. Iohn looked up and saw she was walking into position. But to not arouse too much suspicion, he too walked up to her to sell the act.
"Guess you won't live long enough to know how good of a fighter you could have turned out.", Terios said.
"That would be true. Except…"
Terios raised an eyebrow in confusion wondering why the hedgehog was suddenly acting smug.
"THIS is my last stand!", Iohn used the grapple to yank down the debris and let it fall right on top of both of them.
The second Iohn yanked down to make the debris fall, he then hastily used it again to tie up Terios, having it loop around her arms forcing her to stand in place near Iohn. The hedgehog took off his grapple wrist and used the tip of the lightning wispon to plant it on the ground hard enough for it to remain taught to the ground. Iohn leapt out of the way letting the debris wreckage fall on top of Terios.
As the dust was clearing up, Iohn with total exhaustion, weakly stood up hoping Terios was stuck from all the wreckage pinning her down. He didn't dare move in closer to investigate as the risk of her touching him was too high.
Iohn tried to close from a safe enough distance to visually check if he managed to succeed. He then noticed the lightning wispon in the middle of the debris. Looking where the grapple cable was located, Iohn hoped Terios would still be at the end of it.
"Hmmmm. You're a cut above the usual restoration grunts I flick aside while I have my fun. This would have been a bigger challenge for me except--", Terios' body emitted a lightish green aura around her body where the grapple cable suddenly expanded letting Terios loose.
"I ran into Silver on the way here. His energy is mighty tasty and useful for getting around and smashing things around. But now cutie, I'm wondering just how much energy you could give me.", Terios spoke in a now aggressively sexual tone.
