"description": "Happy international vulture awareness day! Today we're aware of bearded vultures, as voted by my telegram group. This is also a convenient continuation of my vulture fucketlist series, in which I will draw my eagle boy paired with every single vulture species that exists. Gotta catch 'em all.\n\nSo what are bearded vultures / lammergeiers / lämmygämmies? You might see them picked as the chosen sona of many who want a vulture character, but one that looks pretty like an eagle. They're the safe blue jay -choice of going vulture! But what are they really?\n\nThey're bone munchers. That's right, they eat bones. Like up to 90% of their diet is bone, and it takes about 24 hours for a large bone to digest in their 1 pH stomach acid (a PSA for all you vore enthusiasts). This means that even after other vultures have scoured a carcass clean, those bones left behind will remain a source of food for these vultures long after, quite a clever niche! Nothing gets wasted with these bone bois. Ever seen one swallow a femur whole? Don't show that video to your girl/boyfriend, they might get jealous. They can gape that beak of their pretty wide! That means if you're a bearded vulture furry and you're using :> instead of :} you're doing it wrong. So what if a bone is too big for them to swallow in one gulp? Well they carry it high up into the sky, then drop it down to some exposed rocks to break 'em into smaller bite sized pieces.\n\nAnother notable feature is their distinct color scheme; Silver accented black on their wings, tail and back, then orange toned plumage around their neck and underside. You may have seen some photos of them with their torsos more white or red though, and that's because white is actually their natural plumage color. They \"paint\" themselves by bathing in dirt or water that is rich in iron oxide or other pigments depending on their availability. That's why Sawyer's butt here is a bit dusty. Talk about getting marked. There's no consensus on why this staining is done, but if you ask me, and you should because I'm certain of it, it's because they're stylin'. This kind of behavior is also done by the Egyptian vulture, which happens to be their closest relative! If you happen to see one that is mostly dark and brown, that's a juvenile. They only get their adult plumage when they reach the age of five and older.\n\nAnd lets not forget about the bearded part of their name! They have a that black streak going from their eyes to their beaks, and dropping down into a feathered beard, which again, is just stylin'. They're also born with notably red eyeliner. S-T-Y-L-I-N'.\n\nThey have a wingspan of 2.31–2.83m (7 ft 7 in – 9 ft 3 in) and weigh about 4.5–7.8 kg (9.9–17.2 lb), so they aren't the biggest of vultures, but they are bigger than us goldies! Sawyer here is large for a male of his species at 5kg/11lb, so he could probably hold his own (if he wanted to) ((he doesn't)). They used to be more wide spread, but now they mostly live in the mountanous regions of middle east and Asia. They're considered near threatened, and they are being reintroduced to some areas they have disappeared from in Europe.\n\n------------------------------------------------\n\nBoy, this took some work! I usually only do a single pose for these, but for the longest time I've had the idea of my eagle's butt being stained by the orange dust as an aftermath of being fucked by one of them, so I really wanted to include that, and it became its own pose. And this is also probably the most cum I've ever drawn, and I haaaate drawing cum because it's so hard to make look good. I think it took like combined 10 hours to make all the fluids here, and yes, it's that slow of a process for me. Why do I do this to myself? I don't know. I like seeing a big mess, I just don't wanna make it!\n",
