And now there was no way to avoid either permanent sterility or death, neither of which is a pleasant prospect for her.
Few hours earlier she had desperately petitioned for some other method of forced abortion to be able to keep her womb and ovaries intact, but this had been denied with no debate, and after that she had been sentenced to perform the abortion on herself without any help beyond a set of tools and hot water. ”You are solely responsible for your situation, so it's solely your responsibility to resolve it” was the harsh reply when she had protested the treament. After which she had been escorted to the cell which had an hourglass build into the wall – her guards had simply flipped it around without a word before leaving and closing the door behind themselves.
The well-used nature of the provided knife is in stark contrast to the relatively pristine nature of the rest of the set which she's meant to use C-section herself and remove her womb… she's unsure if it's an ill omen or not since it could mean that they are being replaced after every use, or that very few people manage to get to the point where they're suppose to try and continue by closing themselves up. Sensing milk leaking for her heaving breast and she hyperventilates for a moment, she idly dips her fingertip in the stream and licks it clean before steeling herself to the point where she grabs the knife to study its blade under the thin stream of sunlight. Moments later she pricks one of her perky teats with the tip while vigorously kneading the opposite side to soothe it as her litter keeps kicking. ”Well… it's you or me, you little bastards, and I will choose myself even if I'll be wombless~”, she muses to the walls and shifts her posture so that her heavy belly rests more evenly on her legs. Attempting to steel herself for the excruciating task ahead, she plays with the knife and tests its sharpness against one of her claws before carefully seeking out a good spot on one side of her massively pregnant abdomen to place the tip on.
After several deep breaths she clenches her jaws together in nervous anticipation and finally sinks the knife into her own taut flesh – although the resulting hot sting nearly makes her drop it right away, she manages to tighten her grip to start cutting her midsection open while focusing on the thought of being spared if she's able to finish. It swiftly becomes harder and harder to stay focused however as the stinging turns into burning agony from her skin and fatty tissue being exposed to air – the two sides separating immediately due to the sheer size of her womb pushing them apart as it starts to peek out of the widening wound.
Her pain-wracked body attempts to double over. Tears unabatedly stream down her cheeks. She gnashes her teeth and screams loudly enough for the guards to clearly hear it through the thick door. Milk leaking from her breasts as teats mixes with fresh blood on the floor, filling the room with thick pungent odour. But yet she desperately presses on to maintain the blade's jerky motion around her belly, relying on the rush of adrenaline to keep working through the haze of pain which fills her mind… simultanously striving to finish the job and keep her womb intact so that she'll be able to present it to her captors. ”Co-come on, fu-fu-fucking bastards… get out...”, she mumbles as she slams her free arm on the top of her belly to lean on it in a bid to force her womb further out – the translucent organ already bulging visibly from the opening. Shock and blood loss starts to make her lightheaded but she knows she's almost done with the cut, thinking that if she can quickly slice out her bloated womb and her ovaries along with it, she might just manage to stitch herself together to make it...
More thanks to desperation than anything else she manages to push through the burning agony and finishes cutting her gravid abdoment open from side to side, her translucent and veiny womb already bulging out visibly from the grisly wound as she pulls the knife away. Though she hardly feels victorious as her head spins and stinging bile wells up in her esophagus despite her attempts to avoid throwing up – her body wobbling uncontrollably from side to side until she abruptly falls down onto her side with a pitiable cry.
”Got… got to squeeze it out now before I… before I'm too weak...” she gasps as her body convulses and partially ejects her exposed womb, whereas she shoves at it with her left hand to force it further out at the same time as the spinning world around her slowly grows darker and colder.
In the meantime time passes outside the cell with the guards patiently waiting, both of them throwing knowing looks at each other when the screaming and other noises behind the thick wooden door taper out to nothing. Finally the guard commander stomps over to stop by the door.
”Her time's up! See if she's already dead or not.” he orders, prompting one of the guards to yank the door open.
What they see is what they've begun accustomed to seeing during the few times every year these sorts of sentences are meted out – the feline convict appears to be still alive although she's reduced to ineffectual squirming and moaning as she continues to clutch the bloody knife, with most of her bloated womb sitting on the floor in a pool of reddish liquid while part of it remains within her body, attached to her birth canal.
”I see. Time for the usual – carve this out of her since she didn't finish and take it to garbage, dump some rocks in its place and sew her up, then toss her into the river.” the commader states as he nudges the glistening womb with his footpaw, causing some movement amid the darker shapes within. The two guards nod and take out their knives, waiting for the commander to leave before starting their task with some comments about promiscuous cat bitches being so eager to show everything...
