Still Mina seems ecstatic about me picking her choice.  It's always fun seeing couples in rivalries; it made things more interesting in the relationship.  I don't think Tails is going to stand a chance, though.

There was a glow just behind the bushes.  As I parted them, I could see our cabin in the distance behind the trees in front of us.

Knuckles: Come on, let's head this way.
Tails: Shouldn't we stick to the trail?  You never know what's out there.
Knuckles: Exactly, that's part of the adventure.  Now let's go.

Mina and Tails held each other’s hand and maneuvered through the bushes with me.  We eventually got home and were greeted with a nice big dinner made by Vanilla.

For the next couple hours Vanilla, Cream, and I had a lot of fun playing in the snow.  First we made snow bunnies.  I couldn't help but put the carrot in the "wrong" place.

Vanilla rolled her eyes like she did back when we were younger.  We eventually put it in the right place and had more fun building it a friend.

Later we had a snowball fight.  I tried to play fair and let Vanilla and Cream team up on me.  It didn't save them; I had a better pitching arm.

Eventually, the chill and wetness from the snow began to seep through our clothes and chill us to the bone, so we called it a day and went back inside to clean and warm up.

Cream immediately stripped off her snow suit and ran to the living room to watch some cartoons as Vanilla headed towards the kitchen.

Vanilla: Would you mind helping me out with dinner?  I could use an extra hand.
Cream: Aww, I was hoping Mr. Knuckles could hang out with me a little more.
Vanilla: Well, he can if he wants.  I wouldn't mind.  *Smile*

My arms were a little sore so I decided to kick back with Cream and watch a few cartoons.

Everything seemed fine at first, but then Cream started cuddling up to me a little.  I really didn't mind at all, but then she asked if she could sit in my lap.
Knuckles: I think you're a little too big for that.
Cream: Too big?  But I thought you enjoyed it when I sat in your lap.
Knuckles: Yeah, when you were 6, but you're not that age anymore.  You're a bit bigger now.
Cream: *Annoyed* So you're saying I'm fat, huh?
Knuckles: No, it's just your maturing.  And something like you sitting in my lap isn't really a good thing to do anymore.
Cream: Why not?  I heard guys like it when a girl sits on their lap.
Knuckles: That only really works with grown ups.
Cream: I can be a grown up.
Knuckles: You can act grown up but...

Before I could finish my sentence, Cream jumped forward and wrapped her lips around mine.  The surprise nearly stunned me as I could feel her little tongue slipping in as well.  At that moment I had to push her back.

Knuckles: What is up with you, Cream?
Cream: I just...  I was just a little curious.

It was bad enough having her badger me in the shower.  Something really had changed in Cream and it was making things really uncomfortable.  However...

Even before this trip I had noticed that Cream has been not only curious but mischievous.  She was reaching the right age to be curious, but this was teetering on dangerous, or any other bad kind of -ous.  However...

Feelings of lust were starting to build up inside me.  It didn't feel right but I couldn't deny they where there.  I wanted to go straight to Vanilla, but this whole experience was giving me a headache.

I decided to just go to my room instead for the time being...

Cream: Mr. Knuckles, where are you going?
Knuckles: To bed...
Cream: Why?
Knuckles: Because...  I'm feeling tired...

Before Cream could get close to me again I made my way upstairs and into my room.  As I laid on my bed contemplating I heard a knock at the door.

Vanilla: Knuckles?  Dinner is ready.
Knuckles: I'm not really hungry...
Vanilla: What's wrong?

How could I tell her what happened without it being awkward.  I thought about it for a moment but decided not to yet.

Knuckles: Nothing.  I'm actually feeling pretty hungry.
Vanilla: If you're not feeling well you don't have to force yourself.
Knuckles: It's okay.  I am hungry.

Knuckles: I'm not sure, we still have some leftover pizza from yesterday.
Vanilla: I'd actually like to cook something nice for everyone tonight.  You know they're going to be hungry.

I wanted to talk to Vanilla about what happened in the bathroom but she was in such a good mood, now just didn't seem like the right time.  Maybe I'll tell her tomorrow when we get a little time alone.

It had been a while since the two of us did any cooking other than in the bedroom.  Still, seeing her shake her tail like that when she bent over to find some cookwear was very tempting.

I was surprised to see that we did have some cookware available.  It came with the vacation package, like with the television and game console.  They have trackers on these things though, so its not like we can just leave with them.

As we cooked, we did get a little intimate.  Her mitts were on the casserole, and my mitts were on her butt.

If it wasn't for the cooking last night, I might already have had her spread out on the dinner table, stuffing my own roast in her.

I was ready to bend her over the counter and put a little something in her oven.  It has been too long since we last shared an intimate moment.

Luckily I was able to control myself, and within an hour we had dinner ready.

Dinner
This was quite a spread for dinner, considering that we didn't bring too much with us.  Still, after all the activities today, there were almost no leftovers after we were done eating.

After such a big meal though, it didn't take us long to drift into a food coma. After we finished cleaning up, we bailed to our rooms for sleep.

We had a lot planned for tomorrow anyway, so it was a good idea to rest up now.
