Prologue: The Dream “Momma!!!!!!” Yelled Colin as he ran forward as fast as he could. But no matter how fast he ran, time seemed to slow down drastically. Colin watched as he mother fell to the ground, three bulletholes having pierced through her back. One had punched through a lung, another through her stomach, and the last straight through the heart. As he ran toward her, he watched the man with the gun, who had a shadow cast over his face, turn toward his best friend, Kyle. A strange laugh had escaped the man’s lips as he pointed the gun behind Colin. Stopping quickly, Colin turned and saw his best friend behind him. “No, Kyle! RUN!!!” He said, but as he finished these words, He heard three shots once more. These three shots had pierced through Kyle in the same three spots as his Mother did. Colin’s legs buckled underneath him as he watched this take place. In a matter of five minutes, he had lost both his mother and his best friend. He wasn’t sure what to do next. He was only ten years old and didn’t understand how to deal with such pain. However, he did hear the cock of the gun as it prepared to fire once more. Colin turned his head around and looked at the man who was pointing the gun directly at the spot between his eyes. He quickly spun back around and rolled along the ground just as the gun fired, miraculously dodging it, for the most part. However, it did hit his hand dead on and caused him great pain in the long run. Finding a way to stand up, Colin started to run as the man slowly walked after him. He didn’t want to, but Colin had to leave his mother and Kyle behind. They were both dead from the gunfire, and if Colin wasn’t quick, he would be too. He wasn’t sure why this man was coming after him, but Colin had to escape. He had to find someone to help. But for some reason, as he ran down the streets, there was no one available. Everyone had disappeared and no one was in sight. All the lights seemed to be turned off except for the street lights that illuminated the streets during the night. Every store, home, restaurant, stand, and car seemed to be deserted. Where had everyone gone? Colin looked back briefly and saw the man getting closer and closer, yet he was barely walking. Colin looked down at the street and realized that no matter what he did, it seemed he was hardly going anywhere. Behind the shadowy man, he could easily see Kyle and his mom laying there in cold blood. Suddenly he felt a sharp pain in his leg as he twisted his leg trying to escape. As he lay there, looking up at the man, Colin said with tears in his eyes “W-why? Why d-did you k-kill them? Why are y-you going to k-kill me?” The man only shook his head while laughing. “Because I can…” And with those words, the gun was raised once more. A gunshot ran across the area as everything went black “AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!” Screamed Colin as he shot up in his bed. He continued to scream for a short period of time, afraid of what had just happened in his head. Tears streamed down his face as he was covered in sweat beneath his fur. The boy that slept on the bed across the room jumped up at the scream. It was Kyle. “What the fuck? Why did you scream like that?” Said Kyle as he looked to Colin who was crying uncontrollably. It was then that Kyle realized something was wrong and got up to see what happened. “Hey…. What happened?” He said as he climbed into Colin’s bed and wrapped his arm around his sweaty friend. Colin couldn’t say anything amongst the tears. Everytime he tried to do so, He just mumbled slightly and went back to crying. Kyle wrapped his other arm and the two sat there for awhile, one in sadness and the other consoling. Kyle could tell from what had happened here, that this was going to be a long night…. Author’s Notes: Okay, so this is my first attempt at a story. This is just to explain a dream that is going to play a key part in Colin’s Life, but perhaps I need to explain a bit of what this story is about… This Story takes place both in New York City, New York, and at a boarding school for Furs named Royatree Boarding School. This particular part of the story is toward the end of the school year and the students are about to go home for the summer before starting back up in the Fall. The main characters are Colin Thatch and Kyle Robinson. These two are best friends that have been in a dorm with each other every year since Kindergarten. They are inseparable and plan to be til the end of their lives. Colin Thatch is a 10 Year old Lion Boy who has features that clearly resemble the father that he never knew. His mother is always missing for work when he comes home for the breaks that occur throughout the year and as such, he spends a lot of time with Kyle and his father. Kyle’s father took the place of Colin’s father as Colin never knew him. He is highly confused as he started puberty early. So when he is going through these changes and Kyle is not, he doesn’t know what to think of it. Kyle Robinson is a 10 year old Fox boy who looks more like his mother then his father. Unfortunately, his mother passed away when he was 5, leaving him devastated for quite some time. His father does everything he can to give Kyle the best life possible. He hasn’t truly hit puberty yet, so when Colin is touching himself, confused as to what is going on, Kyle is fascinated that he actually feels anything at a touch. This story will, if I continue it, contain scenes of Sex between these two cubs and even between older people. It can be gruesome at times and may offend some people. So if you do not care to read anything about such natures, then don’t read this story past this prologue. And if you can see anything that might help my story, feel free to let me know! I will accept any and all criticism, good or bad. But please be constructive. Saying “Its awesome!” or “This story sucks!” won’t help make things better. So help me out much as you possibly can!
