"description": "A piece I did for Jirra Na'Kell of two of his Basitin fan Characters. Ex-General Nortolde and his Mate, Sasha, with their newborn son Siebrant.\nSasha was a ranger who looked up to Nortolde all her life, believing him to be a true Basitin hero, despite his attempts to lead a rebellion during his younger years. During an effort to cut off a western supply train to the front, she refused an order to kill a western dance troupe who got caught in the middle of the battle, which swiftly became a massacre. Unable to follow her orders, she ended up fighting some of her own people, killing her own squadmates. After being captured by the west she spent several years as a POW, before being traded back to the east. Though she was scheduled for execution, she was assigned the task of protecting and watching over Nortolde, who himself was in exile. The two eventually fell in love, and though Nortolde was thought to be far too old to have children, the Spirits saw fit to grant him and his mate a child, a new start.\n\n\nIf you like this and wish to support me, please consider becoming a Patron.
