One moment Galiana was rushing to escape her pursuer. The time portal she opened should have safely secured her...but the assailant followed. The last thing she felt before things went dark was something grabbing onto her neck from behind. Now, however, things were dark. But they were...more than dark. Galiana couldn't even feel from within it. She wasn't even sure if she was still alive, because she couldn't feel her body...yet she was still conscious. She could tell time was flowing...without her. But, she thought, what sorry state was she in? Feeling as though nothing was going to happen if she was going to stay still, she tried moving...but there was nowhere to move. The dark expanse expanding in all directions around her was devoid of any landmarks. She couldn't even see her body to gauge distance, if such a thing existed where she was at. A different strategy needed to be employed. She began pulling from her abilities as a Celebi, and began to inch forward through time; instead of taking a tunnel as she did before, this acted much like a camera shutter exposing a subject to light repeatedly over a short period of time. Eventually, Galiana got used to feeling like she was moving through time, carving herself into the timestream as a scar. A dense forest. Night. Galiana saw the first few glimpses of the world. Yet things didn't feel right still - she couldn't 'feel', not the air, not the ground under her. She could look around and move, but it felt as though she was a ghost. Her body seemed to have disappeared altogether, with her conscious remaining in a separated state. Despite this, she was distinctly alive. By constantly flipping through the seconds like pages, she was getting a faux-feel of the world. Small, short instances of feeling a cool breeze. Feeling the air pressure of the world as it was. Awareness that she was being watched...with some trouble, Gali managed to move herself to face the bright eyes peering at her from behind a tree. Then came the trouble of speaking... ...a horrific moan escaped from the figure. Galiana's time travel and lack of a physical body manifested itself as a blob of pitch-black shadow. Yet even if she was visible wasn't all too clear to her, as her voice upset the hiding creature - a Haunter - who clearly didn't see her. She attempted to move closer, an image flickering in and out of existence, a being devoid of light moving closer. For a Ghost-type, the Haunter seemed quite scared of this new sight, and not knowing if it was friend or foe, decided to turn invisible and flee to a safer location. Galiana sighed, still flickering in and out of the current spot she was in. If she had her body, she wouldn't look like a threat at all. If she had her body, her unassuming voice would have coaxed help from the Haunter. She was entirely convinced she was without a real form now - a spirit without a husk. That begged the question: if she was without her body, where was it? How could it be found? A Celebi is a rare species, so finding it wouldn't be hard in a crowd, but if it was without a consciousness, it might be lying somewhere, in danger's way. Her body might suffer repercussions from being separated from herself if she waited too long...finding it was important. Getting back into it moreso. Then, Gali felt it: a small, otherworldly pull. She felt inclined to travel in a certain direction, perhaps ushered on by her body yearning to be reunited with her self. Perhaps due to her body retaining a portion of her time travelling powers, enough to where she can feel herself in two locations at once. Yet, she's unable to feel much more than that, not anything her body is potentially feeling, and not where it may be. The constant jumping forward in time did not seem to wear down Galiana's energy, but it felt as though something was ebbing away from her. She didn't particularly care much to wait around to find out what exactly she was losing, so with all the strength she could muster, she tried moving forward through the dark expanse of trees towards where she believed her body to be. The night hid her movements from sight, but she could still be heard floating through the woods. A sharp, high-pitched static-like noise followed her when she made her movements, scaring away any bugs, ghosts, or other nocturnal creature that may be prowling about. Considering her rapid and constant movement through time, it was a small price to pay to exist. The same cannot be said of the person that followed her before...she wondered if they suffered the same fate. A spirit without a body, and no way to return to it. Trapped in the void between life and death, where time doesn't exist. Not the punishment she would wish upon them, or anybody - but one she didn't know would happen. After a while of moving through the forest, Galiana finally made her way out into a residential area. It was here that Galiana realized that she may not be seeing things correctly, as without a body, she's not processing the information as eyes normally would - in her case, being entirely colorblind. The shroud of night she believed she was in may just be her not being able to see if it is light or dark. The shadowy figure kept moving, certain that she'd lose the trail of her body if she stopped to rest...if she even COULD rest. Then, there she was - Galiana's body, lying out in the middle of the front yard of someone's house. Strangely, her body was the only thing fully-colored in Galiana's time-restricted sight, but that only convinced her further that the body was hers. She rushed over to it, not knowing just how she'd handle re-entry into her own body, but she took the chance to just merge her spirit with it and see what happens. As the shadow took over the Celebi body, she could feel her senses coming to. The world began to fill with color again, and her rapid movements through time came to a halt as she felt it begin to flow around her. It was only after taking the first few sweet breathes of relief and freedom that she realized that there was still something...missing. She sat up in the yard, taking in the sights, smells, the feeling of the grass under her. As she believed her turmoil to be over, she moved to get up, but she seemed entirely devoid of energy. Owing it to the stress of time travel, Galiana thought it best to find somewhere to sleep and think on her situation further. She attempted to fly to no avail. Flapping her wings didn't seem to work either. Trying to concentrate her psychic powers as a Celebi into her hands didn't seem to have any effect. She was usually able to at least perform some of these tasks even when sleep deprived, so she thought it weird she wasn't able to do any of it...until she looked at her hands. Now, instead of her world being devoid of color, she was.
