"description": "A living nightmare.\n\nThat's the best way to describe the new hellscape brought upon by The Merge; or so Gali believes. And why would she have any reason to doubt it? For her, it's been one heartbreak after another.\n\nFirst, she gets transported to this new world, losing all of her past friends and home. She was lucky enough that Lost, Found and Mute were with her, perhaps because they're all Celebi or that they're all...'like'. The same. Perhaps it was genetics.\n\nThen, she loses Lost and Found. The new world, inhabited by monstrous beasts both alive and undead, was no place for a nomad like Gali. Lost, still not as proficient in combat, was not at all prepared for the dangers, and in a futile effort to protect him, Found lost her life as well. Mute was lucky to escape the encounter unharmed.\n\nAs there was no way to turn back time in this time-strained land, Gali could do nothing. She was powerless. They were gone. So she gave in to her emotions, and she too became a monster. At least then she could forcefully keep their souls with her.\n\nThe form she takes now is one that unleashes the full power of the ring she once wore, adding traits of a Hoopa to her. Disembodied arms, multiple floating rings, a ring on her stomach, even a tail - and that's to say nothing of what the transformation has done to her psyche. The deaths and loss she's endured has made her reclusive, entertaining the thoughts in her head rather than being outwardly positive. She still tries to make a difference, tries to do the right thing, but she's...warped. There's more restraint and worry with her actions, sometimes to the point of paralyzing herself. Such moments make up for her impressive strength and abilities, having the ring-centric powers of a Hoopa while gaining a massive spike in psychic energy.\n\nWithout Dialga, Gali as she is might be the next-strongest being associated with time in the merged world she lives in. Despite this, she's still not able to time travel, and because of this, her healing powers, which relied on time, still don't work. In its place is a power to hold onto the souls of the departed, ones that no longer have a hold of life, whether among the living or the undead. The Celebi of doomed timelines are especially prominent, but among the souls she keeps surfaced the most are Lost and Found. She's unable to grieve properly so long as she has these powers, using them to hold onto Lost and Found as long as she can under the pretense that they can still be saved from death.\n\nHaving traveled for so long, she wasn't sure if she'd ever settle down again. With only Mute by her side, the two grew close, enough for Gali to take another look at the world beyond her tinted lenses, and she saw a world overcome with prejudice and hate. She was still perturbed by the undead, despite her own scary face, but as she learned more of how they functioned, the more she thought there was no reason for them to be treated the way they were by the living. Even after being attacked by them, she still believed in her darkened heart that good could come from this. That's what spurred her to transform a dilapidated store in the middle of the country to a sports pub, to try and make a foothold with which she can build the relations of the two sects, one drink at a time. She might not fully agree with the concept of alcohol, but as she's learned: risks must be taken, uncomfortable stances must be held firm, and all preconceived notions must be re-evaluated to best serve the situation.\n\nShe was not alone when she made this decision. She was lucky enough to find a small group of Celebi that were willing to aid her, though she had to be careful to not view them in the same way as Lost and Found. Here, they were allies, not family. His carefree nature still gets to her, as does his cold touch, and he is one of the reasons she remains in her office during the workday.\n\nHer connection with Mute, as strained as it is with this new world, has grown to where Gali trusts her with responsibilities she'd have otherwise not even considered her for. Part of it is because of her closing herself off, but it's also because Mute has grown stronger since coming to the world. While Gali doesn't think it's because her transformed body has been rubbing off on her, she does think that it's an exponentially good thing: the stronger Mute gets, the less she hears Thorn's voice, and the less of Thorn's voice she hears, the stronger Mute becomes. Gali isn't afraid to tell Mute how proud she is of her, but she tries to keep her in check as well. With Mute starting to gain some healing powers of her own without the usage of time, Gali hopes that she can tutor Mute to be even more successful than she was. The loss of Lost and Found bite into them the same way, and the two find comfort in each other when the memories rear their ugly head. She knows she can't protect Mute forever, and so she tries to let her do her own thing as much as possible, knowing she too needs to find her purpose. One day, Gali won't be there for her...just as she wasn't able to save them...\n\nAnne was brought on for her desire to cook, but in Gali's eyes, that's where the good qualities stop. She hasn't met a Celebi she disliked, but Anne toes the line. Gali can put up with having the stake on her person at all times, the arguments with Doom and Snowy, her antagonistic banter, heck, if Gali were her usual self she'd want to break through Anne's solitary nature. But what she can't excuse is Anne's attempts to harm her coworkers or the customers, through any and all means. If there were any other cook out there, they'd likely be a better choice, but she has to put up with Anne and hope she'll settle down...and if not, be tamed. At the very least...\n\n...she has hired help in that department. Max was brought on to help vet the customers and maintain order while Gali keeps to the office, though he does receive her help in the form of her oppressive psychic powers nullifying most abilities on the pub's premises. However, as problems with Anne arose, she tasked Max with overseeing her. She's very well aware of the dark hold over his heart that's responsible for his own terrifying power, though in her current state, she's actively not trying to help him with it. She worries that toying with his heart might break him for good, and so she can only watch as he struggles on his own...in the same spot, every day, staring off into nothingness when he's not keeping Anne or the stray unruly customer in check. She treats him with the most care due to his volatility.\n\nWith Gali cooped up in her office, and with the task of protecting the biome against outside threats, she can't really go out exploring or physically supplying the pub herself. That's where Doom comes in; as someone who understands Gali's position, as well as a mutual respect for each other's situations, Gali trusts the shiny Celebi with the task of gathering supplies for the pub. While Gali isn't aware Doom is the cause behind The Merge, she is aware of what Doom is capable of, feeling the girl stresses herself out too much. Partly because she feels bad about sending Doom out on her own, and partly because she wants to ensure at least some consistency for the pub, Gali has attempted to reach out with her psychic powers to the businesses that would be along Doom's path, somewhat influencing where she goes and what she picks up, but she can only do so much. With all that she goes through, especially if it means cutting down the same kinds of demons that took Lost and Found, Gali has nothing but respect for her and allows her to do what she wants within the bar, feeling that she earns it. Gali tries not to think of anything bad befalling Doom, but she can't help tracking the Celebi's movements whenever possible. If Doom goes down, that also means the pub can't get supplies, so Gali has to be vigilant.\n\n...Because of all that's happened, the stress of operating the pub, the loss of Lost and Found, her transformed appearance, Gali can't even recognize herself in the mirror. She still has spots of her old personality, but she can't afford to be her old self now. The old, shy, introverted Gali couldn't survive in this new world. She had to change and adapt. She wonders if she'll ever be the same, if she could ever go back to being just Gali instead of being...a monster. She may be more powerful than she ever has been, able to control some amount of time and space at her whim when no others can, able to hold onto the spirits of the dead, able to lead a pub to moderate success with the proper training and care of its employees...but inside, she's still Gali. She'd gladly give it all up just to go back... ",

Max was brought on to help vet the customers and maintain order while Gali keeps to the office, though he does receive her help in the form of her oppressive psychic powers nullifying most abilities on the pub's premises. However, as problems with Anne arose, she tasked Max with overseeing her. She's very well aware of the dark hold over his heart that's responsible for his own terrifying power, though in her current state, she's actively not trying to help him with it. She worries that toying with his heart might break him for good, and so she can only watch as he struggles on his own...in the same spot, every day, staring off into nothingness when he's not keeping Anne or the stray unruly customer in check. She treats him with the most care due to his volatility.
With Gali cooped up in her office, and with the task of protecting the biome against outside threats, she can't really go out exploring or physically supplying the pub herself. That's where Doom comes in; as someone who understands Gali's position, as well as a mutual respect for each other's situations, Gali trusts the shiny Celebi with the task of gathering supplies for the pub. While Gali isn't aware Doom is the cause behind The Merge, she is aware of what Doom is capable of, feeling the girl stresses herself out too much. Partly because she feels bad about sending Doom out on her own, and partly because she wants to ensure at least some consistency for the pub, Gali has attempted to reach out with her psychic powers to the businesses that would be along Doom's path, somewhat influencing where she goes and what she picks up, but she can only do so much. With all that she goes through, especially if it means cutting down the same kinds of demons that took Lost and Found, Gali has nothing but respect for her and allows her to do what she wants within the bar, feeling that she earns it. Gali tries not to think of anything bad befalling Doom, but she can't help tracking the Celebi's movements whenever possible. If Doom goes down, that also means the pub can't get supplies, so Gali has to be vigilant.
...Because of all that's happened, the stress of operating the pub, the loss of Lost and Found, her transformed appearance, Gali can't even recognize herself in the mirror. She still has spots of her old personality, but she can't afford to be her old self now. The old, shy, introverted Gali couldn't survive in this new world. She had to change and adapt. She wonders if she'll ever be the same, if she could ever go back to being just Gali instead of being...a monster. She may be more powerful than she ever has been, able to control some amount of time and space at her whim when no others can, able to hold onto the spirits of the dead, able to lead a pub to moderate success with the proper training and care of its employees...but inside, she's still Gali. She'd gladly give it all up just to go back... ",
