At this time, they stop eating, and disgorge everything from within their stomachs. The tide takes them to the beaches which they were birthed, and there, they pupate. The pupae are wet and web-like, extremely tough and anchored to each other as well as the ground itself, immovable by even the harshest of tides.\n\nSome time later, they will emerge as young Kymera, and welcomed into society and taken in to families which they choose. Blood relation is not something these creatures think about, as it is impossible to tell. Therefore, family groups are made up of those who choose each other of their own volition, and who bond the strongest for the first time.\n\nSometimes an arrant young one will end up on a beach elsewhere, and thus will end up joining society later, and with no strong bonds to any one of their kind.
