It has several messages from Lambsie’s account, but they were not from Lambsie. He reads them one at a time, they all sum up the same message, “If you want to see your Sub alive, text back for further instructions.”\n\nFernando lets out a sigh, gathering his clothes together as he heads to the Hotel Based PC set up. He turns on the system as he gets dressed, and sends a text reply, “Where is she and what do you want?”\n\nHe types and mouses about the computer desktop, going through various websites only privy to him and his video game company and tracks Lambsie’s GPS devices through private accounts they are tied to. The map shows that both Lambsie’s collar GPS and the iPhone GPS are within feet of each other in an old house near the Bronx’s Pelham Bay Park area and Mount Vernon/Yonkers border on the old Pelham Road that runs through the area. He hopes that it is enough as he prepares himself with what he has, hoping that his protection is enough though the suit jacket is near the point of not providing any protection at all.\n\nStepping out of the hotel, he takes a cab ride to Cam Rods Motorcycle store on 23rd street on the West side of Manhattan. Though Lambsie has his wallet with his credit cards and identification, he does have back-ups in a thinner wallet inside his money belt. Getting a couple of helmets, he also buys a Kawaski Ninja 1200, with a double muffler to silence it. Though it robs horse power from the motor, it still has over 120hp, more than enough for what he needs. He completes the paperwork for a temporary registration and insurance, and hook net to secure the second helmet to the passenger seat. Though not bullet proof, he gets 2 riding jackets for them to wear with Kevlar reinforced padding; it will give some protection, which is better than nothing. As his paperwork is being processed, he goes through the Motorcycle hardware store and gets a couple of tools, including a small set of bolt cutters that should cut through thin chains and bolts, depending on one’s hand strength, and several rubber work gloves, which he stuffs into his pockets. With everything done, Fernando gets on his motorcycle and gets onto the West Side Highway to go north in near relative silence compared to the cars around him.\n\nAt 96th street he gets off to transfer to the East side of Manhattan and up First Avenue to the Third Avenue Bridge. He continues his ride onto the Bruckner Express Highway at near top speed where he can, not caring about traffic laws as a whole. He gets to the Pelham Bay Park area in less than 15 minutes though he has spent over 30 minutes getting himself and his ride together. Slowly passing by “Lover’s Cove,” he notices that the place is empty. He continues down to the old house as per his iPhone’s map of Lambsie’s location. He sees there is a minivan in the drive way.\n\nGoing up further a bit from the house, he hides the motorcycle in the bushes and secures it, facing out to the road for an easy and fast exit. Where are you and Lambsie?” He puts away his iPhone.\n\nThe wolves get Lambsie’s iPhone, and text back, “We will be there.” As they get up and start to gather themselves around the exit. One of them says, “You are to stay with that Sub.” Fernando counts off five leaving for outside and makes his move where he would think they would have gathered around the minivan. He slides down the stairs’ banister turning and aiming his gun towards where Lambsie was with the lone wolf guarding her. He recognizes him as Dion, Lambsie’s first and former Dom before him. A quick adjustment to his aim as he jumps onto his feet sends a round into Dion’s forehead just above his left eye.\n\nFernando runs to Lambsie as he hears the commotion of arguing wolves outside, which he figures they just discovered that their all tires have been flatten. “It’s me, Fernando. Give me a second to free you from this.”\n\nUsing the small bolt cutters, he cuts part the chain the cheap pair of handcuffs has. The plastic zip-locks tying her legs at the ankles are easily dealt with the bolt cutters. She takes off her blindfold though being extremely nearsighted does not make it any easier for her. He escorts her up the stairs and tells her to go hide in the room he used to break in. The wolves enter the house arguing with each other and find Lambsie missing. They run to the chair where she was, finding Dion on the ground dead with a shot to his forehead. With a magazine ready in his other hand for a quick exchange, Fernando slides down the banister and hops onto the floor, readjusting his aim again to the group and takes out three of the five that were there with a shot to the back of their heads but missing the remaining two. His gun pops open signifying that the magazine is empty. Pressing the button, he drops the magazine and quickly inserts the other one, getting his gun ready in just a couple of seconds. Too much time is spent on this switch, and they get their handguns out aimed at him. All Fernando can do is dive to his right, exposing his left side and shoots one of them, only wounding him. They managed to shoot back at him but each round missed him. It becomes a Mexican stand-off.\n\n“You idiots have fucked with the wrong Dom!” Fernando yells at them.\n\n“There will be more after you. Give us the list and let us walk free and I will make sure you will be left alone.” The one with the gun tells him.\n\n“No deal.” Fernando says before sending a bullet to his forehead. He then walks to the wounded one, “Got anything to say before I kill you too?”\n\n“Spare me my life, please!” He cries out.\n\n“You and your friends did not take any actions to spare mine when you attacked me. I’m just returning you the favor.” Fernando tells him before putting a bullet into his head as well. He then stands there and eyes over his handiwork, not liking what he had to do but did because he was forced to. It was either them or him. There was one remaining thing to do: he searches the bodies and the house for their personal items and anything that ties them to the Slavers. He finds several items of interest and takes them as well as Lambsie’s glasses and iPhone and picks up all his spent .45 caliber shell casings and dropped magazine.\n\nWith his pockets full, he goes up to the second floor, finding Lambsie on the second floor. He gives her the glasses, then the iPhone before freeing her from her handcuffs with the key he had found, and escorts her down the stairs. They remain silent as they walk out the house and to the motorcycle where he gives her the jacket to out on followed by the motorcycle helmet. After putting on his helmet, they get on the Ninja and take a slow ride to Lover’s Cove. Putting on the rubber gloves, he goes about climbing up a drain pipe outside; he makes it to a second floor window and opens it, crawling into the room which he found to be empty. The rest of the second floor he finds empty as well. Looking down the stairwell, he can see the main staircase from where they would be exiting out the house. He takes out his iPhone and turns on its text messenger, sending a text, “I’m here. Where are you and Lambsie?” He puts away his iPhone.

The wolves get Lambsie’s iPhone, and text back, “We will be there.” As they get up and start to gather themselves around the exit. One of them says, “You are to stay with that Sub.” Fernando counts off five leaving for outside and makes his move where he would think they would have gathered around the minivan. He slides down the stairs’ banister turning and aiming his gun towards where Lambsie was with the lone wolf guarding her. He recognizes him as Dion, Lambsie’s first and former Dom before him. A quick adjustment to his aim as he jumps onto his feet sends a round into Dion’s forehead just above his left eye.

Fernando runs to Lambsie as he hears the commotion of arguing wolves outside, which he figures they just discovered that their all tires have been flatten. “It’s me, Fernando. Give me a second to free you from this.”

Using the small bolt cutters, he cuts part the chain the cheap pair of handcuffs has. The plastic zip-locks tying her legs at the ankles are easily dealt with the bolt cutters. She takes off her blindfold though being extremely nearsighted does not make it any easier for her. He escorts her up the stairs and tells her to go hide in the room he used to break in. The wolves enter the house arguing with each other and find Lambsie missing. They run to the chair where she was, finding Dion on the ground dead with a shot to his forehead. With a magazine ready in his other hand for a quick exchange, Fernando slides down the banister and hops onto the floor, readjusting his aim again to the group and takes out three of the five that were there with a shot to the back of their heads but missing the remaining two. His gun pops open signifying that the magazine is empty. Pressing the button, he drops the magazine and quickly inserts the other one, getting his gun ready in just a couple of seconds. Too much time is spent on this switch, and they get their handguns out aimed at him. All Fernando can do is dive to his right, exposing his left side and shoots one of them, only wounding him. They managed to shoot back at him but each round missed him. It becomes a Mexican stand-off.

“You idiots have fucked with the wrong Dom!” Fernando yells at them.

“There will be more after you. Give us the list and let us walk free and I will make sure you will be left alone.” The one with the gun tells him.

“No deal.” Fernando says before sending a bullet to his forehead. He then walks to the wounded one, “Got anything to say before I kill you too?”

“Spare me my life, please!” He cries out.

“You and your friends did not take any actions to spare mine when you attacked me. I’m just returning you the favor.” Fernando tells him before putting a bullet into his head as well. He then stands there and eyes over his handiwork, not liking what he had to do but did because he was forced to. It was either them or him. There was one remaining thing to do: he searches the bodies and the house for their personal items and anything that ties them to the Slavers. He finds several items of interest and takes them as well as Lambsie’s glasses and iPhone and picks up all his spent .45 caliber shell casings and dropped magazine.

With his pockets full, he goes up to the second floor, finding Lambsie on the second floor. He gives her the glasses, then the iPhone before freeing her from her handcuffs with the key he had found, and escorts her down the stairs. They remain silent as they walk out the house and to the motorcycle where he gives her the jacket to out on followed by the motorcycle helmet. After putting on his helmet, they get on the Ninja and take a slow ride to Lover’s Cove. There he throws the broken handcuffs, valve stems and other unneeded items into the waters of marshy shore that is part of Orchard Beach a mile or so away as the crow flies.

Getting on the highway, they get to the hotel in less than an hour of slow riding.
