"Summer Days" and "Lamb On The Run" (c) me. ", "writing": "Apology: The Lamb On The Run story was finished long ago, but not the artwork. That has been the delay in putting up the story. \n\nEnjoy.\n\n- - - - - - - - \n\nIt’s been two weeks since Fernando and Lambsie has returned to their hotel room and reported to the DeerS Society of what they have and found. Lambsie writes up a report for them and creates a package with the items Fernando had found to bust the Slavers’ organization wide open. All they have to do is wait to meet with a DeerS Representative to hand them the items over.\n\nAt least during this time Fernando has had the bandages that make up his rib cast loosen up at the hospital after a follow up visit as he heals from his broken ribs. And not allowing this wait to delay their lives any further, Lambsie goes through her graduation ceremony a week into this wait at her place of study: NYU. Like Fernando and his sisters before her, she graduates with honors and special mention at the graduation ceremony. At least for her, Fernando was out there in the audience. More so, much can be said about a Sub with an education and a college degree.\n\nShe is much happier seeing him in less pain. They have not done anything sexual as of yet as he recovers, even though the doctor hinted to her on using a gentle cowgirl position on him if they do, he seem to have lost his drive. It is normal in many males as the energy required to heal saps all the other drives to null, and Fernando is no exception to the rule. It is not that he does not want too but because he is too tired. In the least it has been very calm and quiet two weeks. So like on most evenings before, Fernando sits on the bed with his legs extended out while Lambsie rests her head on his lap and belly. Other times she would sit on her side leaning against his shoulder.\n\nThe Slavers Wolves’ bodies were found at the house, it was dubbed in the news media as “A Slaughter At The Drug House.” Very little evidence pointing to Fernando, with interference from the DeerS Society and ‘Diplomatic Immunity’, Fernando was left alone.\n\nThough they no longer expect any trouble, they have not gone out on an evening date in these past weeks. Instead, they have had their dinner bought to them by room service. Though most Subs would be climbing the walls by now from the boredom, Lambsie knows why and needs the rest herself. But they knew their peace would be interrupted sooner or later. Like it or not, it happens now as both their smartphones ring at the same time with no information being displayed on the screens.\n\nFernando tells Lambsie to give him her iPhone and he answers it for her while his iPhone rings until voicemail picks up the call.\n\n“Who are you and how you got this private number?” Fernando answers the Lambsie’s iPhone in Speaker Phone Mode.\n\nExpecting Lambsie to answer, the caller gets a little flustered in answering and finally asks, “Errr... Is this Lambsie Aries Divey’s phone number?”\n\n“You have not answered my questions – who are you and how you got this private number?” Fernando asks in a demanding tone.\n\nThere was a sigh heard from the other end before they answer, “This is Sub Osiris of the DeerS Society Assessment Agency.”\n\n“Then, Sub Osiris; what is the nature of this call?” Fernando demands.\n\n“It is imperative that I speak with Lambsie Divey or Fernando G.” Sub Osiris answers.\n\n“This is he. Want to you want?” Fernando answers.\n\n“Uhm... My apologies for the intrusion... Sir. Is Lambsie available, I need to verify some information with her.” Sub Osiris answers.\n\nFernando nods at Lambsie for her to answer, “This is Sub Lambsie. How can I serve you?”\n\n“Please verify who you are.” Sub Osiris says.\n\n“I am Lambsie Aries Divey, Sub identification – G25-051217913.” Lambsie answers.\n\n“And your Dom?” Sub Osiris asks.\n\n“Fernando G. He has no Dom identification number as he was brought in as per my request years ago.” Lambsie answers.\n\n“You will be given an update to his status soon. First, you will be meeting with a pair of Subs to hand them the information at the Pine Barrens off the Fort Lee Extension...” Sub Osiris explains.\n\n“I refuse.” Fernando lets out to interrupt him.\n\n“Can I ask why?” Sub Osiris asks.\n\n“We are in no shape to meet anyone in a remote area. If we are to go anywhere, it has to be in the open public.” Fernando explains.\n\n“Then... where would you want to meet?” Sub Osiris asks, adding, “Only stipulation is that is has to be in New Jersey.”\n\nFernando thinks, not wanting to make such a deal that would take him out of state, but quickly gives out an answer, “The Hilton Hotel by Newark Penn Station.[21] When would they like to meet?”\n\n“We were hoping for as soon as possible, tonight would be best.” Osiris explains.\n\n“OK. In the wait area atrium of the Hilton, we can be there in about an hour, depending on how traffic is. How long can they get there?” Fernando says and asks.\n\n“Around an hour is good, depending on traffic like you said.” Osiris replies.\n\n “We’ll be there.” Fernando replies. The call gets terminated from the caller’s end. He glances over to Lambsie, “You got all that?”\n\n“I got it. But how will we get there in an hour?” She asks.\n\n“The New Jersey Transit trains will get us there in 15 minutes.” He answers, adding, “We need to get dressed first.”\n\n“OK...” Lambsie says before getting up off the bed.\n\nIt takes them a couple of minutes for them to get dressed and get themselves together. With the train station across the street from the hotel, they get there very quickly and pick up a pair of round trip tickets and headed for Track 4 for the next available train to Newark Penn Station. Waiting for the next half hour alignment for the train to leave, they both take a bench seat in one of the middle cars. Once the train starts to move, they get to Newark New Jersey in 10 minutes. Getting to the Newark Hilton was just a short walk from the train station.\n\nThe Newark Hilton’s large lobby gave it a large atrium area with several seats and tables for waiting guests to sit down and relax. Fernando takes Lambsie to the large seat in the corner that gave the greatest view of the area. There they sat down and waited. He did not know who he was going to meet but can figure out that as Subs they would be wearing collars in the very least. Lambsie is better acquainted with the Subs of the society than he is as she has to attend a few meetings and conferences a year. They wait over an hour before both their smartphones ring at the same time with a text message alert than an actual phone call.\n\n“Accident on Rt4, traffic not moving, we will be delayed.” The text message says.\n\nFernando text messages back, “If we are not at atrium, we will be at the hotel bar on the second floor getting refreshments.”\n\n“Understood.” The sender replies.\n\nFernando turns to Lambsie as he puts away his iPhone, “You hungry or thirsty?”\n\n“Not really, but if you are, I can go with you someplace to eat and drink.” She answers him.\n\n“I was thinking of going upstairs to the bar and get club sandwich and a soda. Nothing more.” He says.\n\n“Yeah, we can go there.” She replies as she gets up and then gives him her hand to get up with.\n\n“I’m supposed to do that for you.” He says to her as he gets up.\n\n“You’re recovering from your injuries, and I am your Sub, so I have to do those things for you that you need done.” She explains.\n\n“You’re acting more like a wife instead of a Sub at times, you know.” He points out to her.\n\n“You wanted a Sub that is educated and can think for herself, so you got me.” She tells him.\n\n“It’s not a bad thing, you know. I’m just saying. And I did not ‘got’ you, I ended up with you, which is not a bad thing either.” He says.\n\n“I know. I know we been together for a few years now, and you have been a wonderful Dom to me and all, you allow me to do things that most many Doms would not. You do not get angry at me, but everything between us has been... well, nothing what mother told me would be.” She tells him.\n\n“How so?” He asks.\n\nLambsie lets out a sigh, “Well, for one I’m supposed to satisfy you sexually and not you satisfy me. But you do... satisfy me. In fact, you go out of your way of making sure I’m enjoying as much as you do. They look at each other as he leaves to fill their order.\n\n“I know it is within your power as a Sub, but I want to know if you would leave me if I cannot provide for you?” He asks.\n\n“You got me for as long as you want me.” She tells him before thinking for a bit. She continues, “You saved my life more than once from Dion and his Slavers goon friends. I’m not here for your money, a Sub can provide for herself and if needed, her Dom too. It is as if we are married, but we have more freedom in this relationship. You can marry somebody else and still have me as your Sub. You can be single for the rest of your life but you would never be alone because I’m your Sub. I’ll do what the society tells me to do if I have to take care of them but I cannot do this alone and would require help from them but only they cannot be returned to their original Doms. But you are my one and only Sub. If I have to take any others, then I don’t know. In short, I do not want to lose you because I cannot afford to provide for you and others.” He tries to explain.\n\n“Don’t worry about ever loosing me. If you end up with other Subs, I’ll do what I can to keep them in their place for you. And if it comes to past that you might lose them, I will always chose you above any and all choices. It’s been two weeks since Fernando and Lambsie has returned to their hotel room and reported to the DeerS Society of what they have and found. “I got it. But how will we get there in an hour?” She asks.

“The New Jersey Transit trains will get us there in 15 minutes.” He answers, adding, “We need to get dressed first.”

With the train station across the street from the hotel, they get there very quickly and pick up a pair of round trip tickets and headed for Track 4 for the next available train to Newark Penn Station. Waiting for the next half hour alignment for the train to leave, they both take a bench seat in one of the middle cars. Once the train starts to move, they get to Newark New Jersey in 10 minutes. Getting to the Newark Hilton was just a short walk from the train station.

The Newark Hilton’s large lobby gave it a large atrium area with several seats and tables for waiting guests to sit down and relax. Fernando takes Lambsie to the large seat in the corner that gave the greatest view of the area. There they sat down and waited. He did not know who he was going to meet but can figure out that as Subs they would be wearing collars in the very least. “Accident on Rt4, traffic not moving, we will be delayed.” The text message says.

“I was thinking of going upstairs to the bar and get club sandwich and a soda. Nothing more.” He says.

“Yeah, we can go there.” She replies as she gets up and then gives him her hand to get up with.

“I’m supposed to do that for you.” He says to her as he gets up.

“You’re recovering from your injuries, and I am your Sub, so I have to do those things for you that you need done.” She explains.

“If you break it down to just the basics, a Dom is like any other guy. He wants a girlfriend, sex partner, care giver, and house wife all wrapped up in one neat little package. True, the Dom wants more control in the relationship and to have his Sub fulfill some of his sexual kinky fantasies, but it is basically the same as in the end both the emotional needs of both the Dom and the Sub are satisfied just like a normal boyfriend and girlfriend relationship.” He tries to explain, adding, “We are more girlfriend and boyfriend than Sub and Dom. I know things have to be different between us as it would be between me and one of my girlfriends.”

“I know what a girlfriend and boyfriend relationship should be and what we have as Dom and Sub surpasses that. It is something more involved and intricate on a careful balance between wants and needs. A girlfriend says that she would be there for you; I will be there for you as I have to do and not say that I would do. A girl can live without a boyfriend after her heart is broken by his actions; a Sub can’t if a Dom throws her out. We live to service the Dom, the Master, he who is in charge of us and will forever be the center of our universe. To be cast aside and told to go away, it turns us into nothing more than trash. We can never regain that title back, even if he reinstates us back into his good graces. So thank you for giving me a normal life like any normal girl would have, but as a Sub I have to do things most girls wont and never will: that is to follow your every word, abide by your every command, and fulfill your every wish and demand. Though I choose you to be my Dom, I am nothing without you. A girlfriend cannot say or do any of those things.” She tells him.

“Nice way of explaining it...” A tall figure of a German Sheppard had approached them with two other collared sheep, one male and one female, by his side. They all look at each other for the moment before he speaks again, “Where’s the file?”

“What file and who the fuck are you?” Fernando tells him more than asks.

“You listen to me, Squirrel. I’m the top dog here, not you. And I was told to meet with two fitting your description to pick up a computer file from you. Now where is it.” He tells Fernando, leans down towards him in an intimidating manner.

“I do not know who you are from Adam, and you need to beware of me because I took on and won against six Slaver Wolves to make sure that she was safe. One German Sheppard like yourself I can take on in this hurt condition and win without breaking a sweat. Now, I do not care if you had a rough time at the New Jersey Turnpike, when you meet with me, you identify yourself, prove that identity, and begin negotiations on a more peaceful term.” Fernando tells him. They stare down at each other for the moment.

“Let me intervene...” the male sheep begins to say as he steps up besides them, showing his identification from the DeerS Society, “I am Ki from the DeerS Society Records and Information Department. Karen is my assistant, and you should know who you are challenging – that is William, our escort and body guard.”

“And how do you know who I am? I could be anyone.” Fernando tells him.

“We know and met with Lambsie before, so we know who she is. And we know that you, Fernando G, the lost prince of Spain, is her Dom. I’m sure you have many questions to ask, but first, we need that file.” Ki explains as he and the others sit down in the chairs across from them.

Fernando turns to Lambsie, “Do you trust them?” Lambsie nods without saying a word. “Then come here...” Fernando almost orders her, to which she complies. He puts his hand on the padlock she wears with his initials on it, putting his key into it but instead of twisting it, he presses on a secret side button on the side of the padlock where a micro SD card pops out from above it. He grabs the SD Card and pulls it out of the lock at the same time he pulls out the key. Though he holds out his clenched fist towards Ki with the micro SD Card inside, he tells him, “I do not know if the data survived but that is where I put it in for storage. Lambsie has been through a lot in the attempts of the Slavers to recover that data.”

Ki takes Fernando’s clenched fist to retrieve the micro SD card. As soon as the SD Card is in Ki’s hand, he calls to Karen, “Karen, the laptop please.”

Karen pulls out a tiny OQO laptop[23] about 1/2 the size of a netbook laptop from her purse, which has been on in sleep mode. He slips the micro SD card into a side port as the laptop wakes up from sleep mode. A few windows are opened within the desktop file manager and at least the file names on the SD card are readable. He clicks on one, which activates Excel to open up but then a password window opens, requesting for a pass code to get access to the file. Ki looks at Fernando.

“Would you know the password to the file?” Ki asks.

“Sorry, we don’t.” Fernando tells him.

“It’s not a problem. We can get our top hackers to open these files.” Ki tells him.

“Whatever you do, make backups of that information first. It is my one and only copy.” Fernando tells him.

“We will. In fact I’m doing that right now, do you have any questions? I’ll see what I can do.” Ki says.

“So, you’re a male Sub?” Fernando asks.

“I am. There male Subs but we are rare. Many of us cater to female Doms while a tiny few cater to male Doms.” Ki answers.

“So you’re Dom is... female?” Fernando asks.

“You would be correct in saying that.” Ki replies.

“And Karen?” Fernando asks.

“Karen caters to my Dom as well. On top of everything else, she is my twin sister.” Ki replies.

“I see.” Fernando says to himself. After a moment of thinking, he asks, “What about the Slavers’ Subs, what is going to happen to them? Don’t the DeerS rules say that they belong to me?”

 “You would be correct on that, but we know there is no way for you to take care of them all. Since they have been taken illegally from their Doms, and their Doms killed in the process of that taking, they have been relocated to a DeerS’ Medical and Retraining facilities to deal with them.” Ki explains.

“How many are there?” Fernando asks.

“41 of them.” Ki answers.

Fernando lets out a sigh.

“They are not your responsibility after this.” Ki tells him.

“Ki, what about...” Karen started to say.

“It does not matter, it is not his responsibility.” Ki throws at his twin.

“What about what?” Fernando says as he points to Karen.

“It is not of your concern.” William growls at him.

“And you listen to me, Mutt. That collar around your neck says you’re a Sub as well, so you are to listen and do as I say or walk away from the situation. Now I want answers. If not we can take this outside.” Fernando points to William’s neck.

They stare at each other for the moment before Karen answers, “One of the Subs is Lambsie’s younger sister Dolly.”

“I see.” Fernando says to himself.

“She is none of your concern. She will be taken cared off and retrained before she is connected with another Dom who can take care of her properly.” Ki tells him.

“I see.” Fernando says before asking, “If I can ask, who was her Dom.”

Ki and Karen look at each other for the moment before Karen answers, “Dion.”

“Figures.” Fernando says.

“All the other slavers had four Subs each; Dion only had Dolly and wanted Lambsie to grow his Subs collection, and having sisters as Subs is rare to have. But she is none of your concern.” Ki explains.

“She is none of my concern unless I make my concern.” Fernando tells him.

“You are told to leave it alone.” William tells him.

“You really want to take this outside? We can do this and only one of us will be returning to this discussion, and it won’t be you.” Fernando tells him. They stare at each other for the moment.

Ki intervenes again, “Fernando, I can see your concern, but I have to refuse. Only Lambsie can request to see her sister but that is all that can be given. Any other questions before we leave?”

“When will my Dom status be official by the society?” Fernando asks.

“That is still being decided on. But with you giving us this file matrix may sway the decision to your favor. But again, it depends on the files themselves and the information they contain. Until then you will be recognized as an honorary Dom within the Society. Is that all?” Ki answers.

“For now, that is all.” Fernando tells him, “Any future questions I will ask Ruby in person.” Fernando tells him.

“Fair enough.” Ki says before turning to the others as he gets up and closes the OQO laptop, “Let’s go.”

Fernando remains silent as they leave, though he wanted to beat up that German Sheppard mutt to teach him a lesson. Such energies are better used to accelerate his healing, however.

Lambsie gets up for a second, telling him, “Let’s go home.”

Fernando tries to delay it as much as possible, almost wasting a minute’s worth if time before slowly getting up off his chair.

“Alright, let’s go.” He says to her, taking her by the hand and leads her out of the hotel. The walk to the train station was only a minute but the wait for the train was longer than a half hour. They managed to get to the hotel before 9:30PM. Before going into the hotel and their room, they go to the Italian eatery Sabaro’s and order a take-out meal for them to take to the hotel: for him a small lasagna and garlic bread, for her a vegetarian Caesar Salad. They take their meal with them to their hotel room, where they sit and eat in the main suite area before retiring to their bed.
