"description": "Being a teen life guard has its pluses and minuses. The major plus is swimming, showering anf changing with the girls' classes, being excused from gym. The minus is all the responsibilities that the swimmer teachers throw at you because they do not want to teach the class, so you end up teaching it for them. Another minus is being hated by those same teachers as they are also coaches for the school male and female swim teams and they want you on the team but can't because being life guard gives you an unfair advantage over competitive swimmers, which can disqualify the team.\n.\n..\n...\nOn this day and time I walk out back to the lockroom and down the hall out onto the pool's deck, where some of the girls were standing at the edge of the pool by the deep side. Included in the group was Jeanie.\n\nMr. Braum showed up to talk with Mr. O'Rerdin, passing by the group of girls at the edge of the pool as he approached her. Without warning or reason, he reaches out and pushes one of the girls into the pool, all of whom can barely swim. It could have been any of the girls in the class of non or beginner level swimmers. But the girl Mr. Braum had pushed in was one who could hardly swim at all: Jeanie Chin.\n\nFrom where I stood as I enter the indoor pool's deck by their desk, I took a couple of steps and dove into the deep end, grabbing Jeanie by her mid section and pulled her out of the pool. She was already passed out and not breathing, probably because she gasped when she was pushed in and breathed in water, causing her to go into pulminary shock and stop breathing.\n\nRefusing help from Mr. Braums for causing all this, I lift Jeanie out of the pool and put her on the floor, positioning her head to the side to expel the water she might have swallowed, putting my hands on her lower chest and push down on her. She coughs up a bit of water as I pushed down on her, but was still not breathing. I then switched to beside her head and reposition her to give her mouth to mouth resusitation and the class gathered around me and watched. After a few breathes, Jeanie crunches upwards and starts coughing. The class starts clapping and cheering, though Mr. Braum and Ms O'Rerdin quickly quiets them down.\n\n\"You alright?\" I asked Jeanie. At first she nods her head and then grabs me and hugs me tightly and starts to cry. \"There, there... you're safe now...\" I tell her. She starts to quiet down a bit but does not lets me go.\n\n\"Come on, I need her to fill out an accident report.\" Ms O'Rerdin stated as she reached over to us.\n\n\"I'll do the paperwork, you just sign it when I'm done.\" I tell Ms O'Rerdin as I picked up Jeanie and carried her to the office. I sit her down on a bench on the far side of the room by the doorway while I look for the paper work, and started to fill it out. I just fill out the facts, checking the little boxes of listed items and write the statement below. Everything else, I leave blank, like her name, class/homeroom, date and time. Nor to do I allow her to sign it, as it's required at the bottom of the page.\n\nI walk up to her and stick my hand out to her for her to take. She does, and uses it to help her get up, and she grabs me again, holding me tightly.\n\n\"You saved my life.\" Jeanie stated emotionally.\n\n\"I do it all the time, Jeanie.\" I tell her.\n\n\"I owe you my life.\" I can hear her say quietly to herself as she held on tightly.\n\nI try to step to the door, with her holding on, then she lets me go but still has my hand as we walk out the office, only to see the class standing on the deck, clapping and cheering as we walked onto the deck.
