This time I chose the Horus Guard as the next one to go along with the Anubis one from before. Unlike the Anubis guard, the Horus guard here is middle ranked and not lower ranked. This Horus guard is either a hawk or falcon. I could never tell the difference between them at times. LOL.\n\nIn this piece I have experimented with a layered background made up of layers with gradual transparencies and a wider use of filters and effects that I have yet used before for experimental reasons and to do something bold.\n\nHaving become a tad bored with the usual gradients for the stripes and what not I have opted to add detail to them by engraving and embossing a number of designs on them to add a bit of pizzaz so to speak.\n\nI was even so emboldened as to actually leave one layer untouched (which I tend not to do since I often do something to each layer).
