"description": "Here is a picture of Lord Nisroch. In the world that my character Domineus Dan lives in, Lord Nisroch, besides being an eagle god of agriculture and fertility in Sumerian mythology and the religion found there, is one of the Twelve Noble Winds. The Twelve Noble Winds are avian gods from around the world that every Adlerian can trace their ancestry, which is to say that Lord Nisroch is related to every Adlerian as well as eleven other avian gods from around the world.\n\n---------------------------------------------\n\n\nIn the kingdom of Adleria, the Twelve Noble Winds are worshiped as part of the Adlerian religion, Divine Winds (rough translation from the Adlerian language). Their religion, practiced by 98 percent of all Adlerians around the world, is a mix of various religions like the kind found in Egypt, Sumeria and ancient northern India. There is also a bit of a Japanese style of ancestor worship. The Divine Winds is also the state religion of the kingdom of Adleria. \n\n\nEven though Adleria is a generally free minded kingdom in terms of commerce and freedom of expression, the kingdom is ruled by an absolute monarchy. The emperor has absolute say in all manners. He generally does not use his power, being rather hands off. But there are some things that can not be allowed, and one of those few things is practicing anything other than the state religion. It is due to this rule that Domineus Dan's father, Dephensor Dan, moved out of the kingdom after converting to the Catholic faith. Dephensor, being from an ancient noble family, still owns a significant amount of land and a fief in the kingdom and is still allowed to run the land. He simply can not live there any longer, even being the lord of that land. The same goes with others who own land whether they are important or otherwise.\n\n---------------------------------------------\n\n\nLord Nisroch is one of the eldest of the gods, predating nine of the avian gods that contributed their genes to the Adlerian race. The eldest of the Twelve Noble Winds is Lord Garuda, the father of all birds and bird races with the power comparable to the fires of creation itself. The second eldest is Lord Raven (the one from the Inuit Indians mythology) by whom, despite being the second eldest, contributed last to the gene pool and good at tricks and tactics. \n\nAfter the Lords Garuda, Raven and Nisroch come the Lords Horus; king of the gods in Egypt, Tengu; his name and the name of the Tengu race that he single handedly created with one night with 24 ladies, and great with a sword, Boreas; from the Grecian lands and master of the north winds, Roc; known for his size and impenetrable defense, Feng-Huang; known for his five cardinal virtues, ruler of birds in China and known for his sexiness (I know right?), Thunderbird; god of thunder, lightning and storms in native American mythology,. \n\nI have yet to come up with the other three. But I do have a thirteenth name. At one time, Lord Pazuzu was part of the Alderian pantheon, but he was ostracized indefinitely when he desired power and stole the tablets of creation. After this he became an evil being bent on controlling all known avian races, the Adlerian race included especially, as well as be sole controller over all of creation. He is now considered a demon god and lives in the realms that all demon gods live.\n\n---------------------------------------------\n\n\nI often wondered, while looking at reliefs of Nisroch online, at what he is wearing and how he is wearing the clothing he has on. I finally figured out what he is wearing after thinking about it for some time and looking up styles of dress from that period and area and figured it out. Nisroch's clothing is made of three parts. First he is wearing a short sleeved shirt which tends to go on first. Then comes a small tunic that is wrapped around his waist starting from the left, around the back and then tucked in at the front around where it started. A wide belt is then wrapped around the waist covering an area starting from where the top two abbs meet the second row of abbs and then to an area just above where the legs meet the hips. This wide cloth belt is then held in place by a thin leather strap like belt. The third part is a large tunic that wraps around the body. This starts out by being tucked in on the right side of the body tucked under both the wide and thin belts, peaks out of both belts on the left side, wraps around the back under where the bottom wings connect to the body, under the right arm and then flipped over the front of the body and then over the left shoulder with the last bit hanging between the two pairs of wings.\n\nAccessories that Nisroch wears includes his head dress that has a crest made of feathers and goes over his head and down the back of his neck area like a mohawk. This sits on top of a headdress made of small pieces of gold with two layers, one on the top area of the head and the other around the back and sides of the neck. On his beak, at the top where his nose is located, is painted makeup (in some art that part of the beak is painted, in others the end of his beak is painted and still, in others, both parts are painted in different colors). He also wears armlets made of gold that are straps and wrap around his biceps. He also has gold bracelet cuffs around his wrists with gold flowers at the bottom and top of the bracelet cuffs. He also has sandals, of course. On his waist, tucked between the thin leather belt and the wide cloth belt is a scroll. Not sure what the scrolls are for or what is even written therein, but the bucket and cone he is holding in either hand I do know to be part of a ritual used for purification and / or protection. ^\\/^.",
