D. Dan to fight. I wanted something different from the usual group belonging to Sanakuma. I then though of the espadas from the Bleach anime and how one consumed the souls of many humans in a large area by simply breathing in their souls like air. The idea then came to me of a type of demons tha can consume a soul by simply breathing them in.\r\n\r\nThey gain their food, powers and abilities by breathing in the souls of their victims at relatively close range. When they breathe the souls of a female, the gain longer life, dexterity and youthful beauty. When the consume the soul of a male, they gain strength, endurance and greater constitution (more health and resistance to disease and poison). Besides going for the weak and innocent, they strive to gain the soul of a hero class of person and, at the top of their charts, one with an S class of abilities such as a healing factor, immortality, invinicability, etc.... .\r\n\r\nFor their looks in gender, I wondered what they would look like as a male and female before coming to the idea that they have no difference in gender. Reproduction would be by gathering souls into a vessel and forming them together using dark magics. These demons tend to live long lives and are hard to kill and, as such, they do not reproduce much anyhow.\r\n\r\nFor the overall look, I eventually got the idea from Frieza from Dragon Ball Z. Basically, these demonic creatures have extremely large upper bodies to hold their powerful lungs and to hold the many souls in compact form. They have strong arms to better hold their victims in place and / or grasp them. The legs, though seemingly thin in comparison to the arms, are still very strong and built for speed and dexterity. Their waists are lithe, yet still athletic and strong. They averge in height from 5'8'' to 6'3' and have an unknown average life span due to their ability to extend their life indefinately by the taking of female souls. Also, embeded in their chests where their necks meet the chest muscles is a gem. The gem is basically what was used to combine the souls together in the magic ritual that births them. It is sort of like a belly button. LOL. ^\\/^.\r\n\r\nTheir place of origin, in the story of my fursona's world, is an area between western China, north India, just east of Persia and Eastern Europe and as far north as southern Russia (Basically the area around the Silk Road). They live in other areas as well around the world, but originate from the area mentioned and are now mainly found there and in the wildernesses of North America and Europe (In the story North America is known as Vineland).\r\n\r\nFor their heads and other notable features, they are like a mix between goat, horse, lion and dragon. Their faces are mostly a mix between a goat and lion with the relative length and jaw line of a small horse. They have a mane of hair that is like a cross between a lion's mane and a horse's mane with a good amount on their heads that leads down their back and along a tail much like a dragon's tail. Their hands and feet are like a cross between a lion's and dragon's paw. The fur that covers their bodies is like a cross between a lion's fur and a goat's fur, slightly shaggy and feral looking in appearence. They have fang's and teeth like a lion's fangs and teeth. Their eyes are like a goat's eyes in the shape of a dragon's eye.\r\n\r\nFor their personality, they are very vain and, due to this, they tend to focus on taking lady victims often more than the men. When they take the souls of their victims, the victim quickly ages and is often left in a state of being too weak and old to fight back. Often at this point, the demon trolls their victim saying that their soul is being put to better use by the demon and that they, the victim, should thank them. Besides being vain, the demon shown tends to be over confident. Also, as they grow stronger, they tend to more likely backstab their fellow demons due to their tendancy of over self worth and superiority. They rarely go to high populated areas. They like easy prey and are cowards. As they grow stronger, however, their over confidence kicks in and they suddenly go from small settlements and go for the large cities for a free for all. Often this ends in either their capture of destruction.\r\n\r\nWhen the forces of good manages to capture one of these things, they bring the creature to a magic user and / or holy person to empty the souls being consumed by the creature. A soul, though quickly consumed, can take as much as two centuries or more to digest. The souls that are emptied are either returned to their rightful owners or are sent to their respectful after life, presuming if the original owner has already passed away from extreme old age or other wise. When the demon is emptied of their entire stock of souls, they shrivel somehat in size and grow excessively old, their backs hunching over. In this state, the demon is so weak and old that it could barely move, can not use their soul taking abilities by themself and is unable to walk. Even emptied of souls, weakend and very old looking, the demon is of such hardiness that, if left as they are, would naturally take seven centuries to as much as three thousand years to die.
