  "description": "Join Bowser in his sweet ride on a trip along the beach. I'm sure he's gonna take good care of you. :3\n\nHo boy...where to start with this one. Believe or not, this was supposed to be a \"quick\" picture. My goal was to try for a more stylized and minimalistic design, to serve as a possible desktop wallpaper.\nThat all went fine with the character, but when I got to the car, things got complicated.\n\nThe design for his vehicle is heavily influenced by the one Bowser uses in Super Mario 3D World for the Wii U. I tried to combine it with various other designs to find a look that is not as cartoony as the original, but still contains it's core elements, like the hood ornament.\n\nSo when I put together all the pieces for the car, things kept stacking up. I added more and more details and eventually realized it'd require more work than I had anticipated. Without realizing it, I was putting all of my energy into it and when I was done, I knew I needed to give the character an overhaul too. So I went back and added more details to Bowser as well, along with the shading and such.\n\nThis is really a prime a example of how a picture can just escalate into way more work than was anticipated. Anyhow, despite the fact that I spent way more time on this than I originally wanted, I am really happy with the final result. :3\n\nEnjoy!",
