Why we’re holding this Guardian meeting with the other Guardians and their districts for any way.” Cyril asked his mate right next to his left as the ice dragon finished shaking paws with another dragon and fellow Guardian as the other dragon left and then started walked up the steps into the council building behind the six dragons that were standing outside in front of the building. \n\nThe golden council building standing tall and strong behind the six dragons up front. Was your typically council building, it had a large silver shaped dome for the roof top, large golden pillars going around the entire building, crystal clear glass windows, large wooden dark oak doors for the entrance way and exits, six large stone dragons were sitting in front of the golden pillars and looking noble and well weathered, and flowerpots with golden color on them were stationed at the doorway to the building. Altogether the council building was well cared for and good for its age.\n\nIgnitus smirked as his tail swayed behind him, “You know why love. We need to know how many of our fellow Guardians survived, are missing or dead, to who are retired, to those who simply walked away from the job, and to replace the Guardians who sadly died with their candidates or students.”\n\nCyril let an annoyed growl escape from his throat as his pale-colored wings with purple membranes twitched, “I know that much, Iggy?! I am the one who organized this event in the first place.”\n\nThe others smiled and laughed silently to themselves while Volteer chimed in, “Then why are you complaining and asking such stupid questions then?” \n\nIgnitus sighed to himself as he shook his head as did Terrador as well, while Spyro and Cynder on the blue dragon’s left side giggled. Cyril sent a cold and hard glare towards the electricity dragon at the end of the line, “Volteer, if you wish to keep that bloodily fucking silver tongue of yours in that of talkative mouth of yours in check. Then I suggest you shut the hell up and let me do my job. Alright?” \n\nVolteer nodded rather quickly and looked forward once more, the ice dragon then heard some giggling coming to his left and quickly looked over and down to see Spyro and Cynder giggling and smiling together. Cyril would usually frown from being laughed at, but for the two young dragon’s case though. The ice Guardian just smiled and let out a small laugh himself as the two young dragons laughed and smiled once more.\n\nCyril looked at Spyro and Cynder clearly right now and saw how much they had grown within the year. The young purple dragon himself was still the same of course, still had purple scales and yellow goldish scaley underbelly, but he had grown a couple inches taller now, his orange-yellow wings with pink membranes had slightly bigger and long wingspan now, the first two crests on his head had grown slightly big including his back spines as well, his muzzle had grown out a bit more now and was slightly long, but still looked nice and smooth, his horns had grown a little bit longer, his front half was more macular now including his back half, his tail was a bit longer now and his tail spade splitted in three edges also had grown in length too, and finally he had two pairs yellow goldish crests from his scaley chest. Spyro not only looked very mature and handsome now, but he was 16 years old now. 16? Boy was the ice dragon getting old in age. \n\nAs for Cynder, she kind of remind the same too blacks scales and magenta scaley underbelly. She herself was 16 as well. Her black wingspan with magenta membranes was big and longer now, her tail had grown out just as long too, her horns and the back of her head crests separated into pointed spikes now had grown out longer then that of Spyro’s, her sickled blades on her wings now face the outward instead of inward had also grown, her beak shaped muzzle had grown out long and pretty now, her body proportions were looking more adult like now, the white symbols on her forehead and shoulders were just slightly big now, her silver tail spade was longer, big, and sharp, she still wore platinum choker around her neck, platinum bracers on her arms, she also wore not just one bracer on her tail, but she actually wore two now, she was very lithe and lean now, and she was just as tall as Spyro is, but if you looked closer in though. You’d soon found out that Cynder was just an inch shorter than her lover was, and that was something that Sparxs always joked about. About how Spyro was taller than her or that she was short and couldn’t reach for anything, the black dragoness grew annoyed sometimes with Sparxs jokes about her height while the other times she would just get plain mad or angry with the dragonfly and start chasing him around her and Spyro’s home. All together though, Cynder was growing up beautifully and maturely now, and the Guardians couldn’t be prouder for her and Spyro. \n\nCyril looked forward once more before he felt something wrapped around his tail and squeeze it tenderly and lovingly. He looked to his left and spotted his mate Ignitus looking at him with love and honestly in his red eyes. He knew it was the fire dragon’s tail that was currently wrapped around his own tail and sent his loving mate a smile of his own in return. The ice drake turned his head away from his mate and saw another fellow Guardian in front of him smiling at him. \n\nAs both Guardians shook paws in greeting, the big earth dragon known as Terrador noticed a familiar and distrustful black dragon walking up to them and the steps leading up to the council building. Another dragon was with the black dragon, who Terrador recognized as the Guardian of poison who he befriended and fought with in the past wars known as, Fang the dragon. As for the black dragon though, Terrador had hoped to never see or hear from him again, but yet here he was walking up to him and his fellow friends and Guardians. Cause after all, this black dragon was a Guardian himself to as well. This black dragon was just as tall, strong, lean, and muscular as Volteer was, he has pitch black scales, a light greyish scaley underbelly, he has black wings with grey membranes and there were small holes in his wings, light grey claws and horns, a long tail, his tail spade was that of an arrow head, his horns were longer and curved outward, he has light grey eyes, he has two long scars going up and down in a straight line over his eyes, and finally he had a bright red symbol of a scorpion on his left shoulder. The look this distrustful and foolish elder dragon had was one of the bad boys look and one who looks to cause trouble and mayhem. \n\nAfter talking and greeting the other Guardian was done with, Cyril looked forward once more and spotted a very familiar and hateful face and dragon he had hoped to never see again, but the very dragon who he hated with flying colors was standing face to face with him and was giving him an arrogant smirk. Which made the ice dragon frown and glare at the black dragon standing right in front of him and the others. Ignitus looked at the black drake in disgust and distrust as he too glared hard at the black dragon. \n\n“Well, it’s been some time. Hasn’t it, Sebastian.” Ignitus said with distrust in his voice. \n\nThe black dragon known as Sebastian turned his head away from Cyril for a moment and looked towards Ignitus with the same arrogant smirk and look he gave toward the leader of the Guardians, Cyril and then reached with his left paw to go and grab the fire dragons own right paw, but Ignitus saw this happen and swatted the other Guardians left paw away from him making Sebastian laugh at the sight as he lowered his left paw back to the ground as he looked the four Guardians and Spyro and Cynder with his greyish eyes as the Guardians and even Spyro and Cynder gave looks of distrust and disgust in their eyes which made the elder dragon grin. \n\nHe looked to back to Ignitus and gave him a flirter look this time, “It has been sometime, hasn’t it sweetheart. I heard from the others you had died during the war with Malefor, but here you are standing right in front of me clear as day.” \n\nCyril let out a jealous growl escape from his muzzle, but the red dragon gave his mate the look that said, “I can handle this myself, love.” To which calmed down Cyril’s nerves and emotions for now, but Ignitus could still hear a rumble of a growl coming from his mate which made him sigh out in an annoyed huff. As for Spyro and Cynder they decide to get up and walked back behind the four Guardians and left for electricity dragon’s right side and decide to stand there with him and watch the scene from afar which caused Volteer to look down at them and smile for a few seconds before he stopped and turned his head to the left and watched the scene between Cyril, Ignitus, and Sebastian play out. \n\n“Let me make one thing clear here. Don’t call me sweetheart, Sebastian! After what you nearly did to my and Cyril’s relationship back then. Your lucky to even be here in the first place.” Ignitus pointed out rather clear and annoyed. \n\nSebastian just smirked, “Oh Ignitus. Please don’t tell me, your still with this ice bucket of a dragon.” Which Sebastian gestured out with his thumb claw from his right paw towards Cyril in front of him as the blue Guardians sent him an angry growl as his tail whipped around behind him and claws grabbing the hard in a vice like grip. \n\n“Why have him Ignitus, when you can have all of me instead.” Sebastian flirted out to Ignitus. \n\nIgnitus gave Sebastian a annoyed look of the eyes now, “Because unlike you Sebastian, at least Cyril treats me with respect, love, friendship, laughter, kindness, and joy. You just wanted me for yourself, you damn bastard.”\n\nSebastian just chuckled before looking towards Volteer now and countered back, “And yet, Volteer was no different from me back in past. He wanted you just as much as well Ignitus, and yet he is here standing with you and others as a friend and comrade. Why I say that you and your words a bit hypocritically. Don’t you think?” \n\nVolteer was about to jump in and have his own say, but that all stopped when he felt his mate Terrador place his right paw over his scaley blue chest where his heart lay and was. He spotted the earth drake giving him a loving smile and mouthed the words to him, “I’ve got this, thunder butt.” Volteer looked down at his paws and claws breathed in then out as he looked back up and gave his mate a loving nod with his head as he looked back towards the black Guardian Sebastian and saw him looking towards him and now Terrador as well. The earth dragon lowered his right paw back to the ground and locked eyes with Sebastian’s grey ones. \n\n“Why that may have been true, Sebastian. My beloved mate Volteer is different from the one in the past, he’s changed now and no longer wants Ignitus any more or in any way. So don’t you ever, ever try to compare yourself to Volteer in any shape or form again, Sebastian or you won’t like what I’ll will do to you!” Terrador said truthful and threateningly. \n\nSebastian merely smirked as his tail moved behind him, “Is that threat supposed to scare me, Terrador? \n\nTerrador nodded and snared, “Yes, and you should take it very seriously Sebastian.” \n\nSebastian just laughed, “Oh please, a hatching could make up a better threat then that Terrador.” \n\n“Why you little…” Terrador almost said as Ignitus’s voice cut in real quick, “Alright, that is enough! “Everybody looked towards the red dragon and saw his calm and mature look right now and knew right away they crossed the line. \n\nIgnitus red eyes were glazed over with a strong and calmness in them as he looked between Sebastian and Terrador right now, “No fighting, alright. We’re Guardians here and we should be acting like Guardians right now.”\n \n“He’s right you know. Wise words as ever, Ignitus.”\n\nIgnitus turned his head back forward and gave the other Guardian in front of him an annoyed and a frustrated look as he pointed his claw from his right paw toward Sebastian, “Don’t push your luck, Sebastian. You’re on thin ice enough already, so keep your own words to yourself.”\n\nSebastian smirked, “Of course, sweetheart You’re the leader after all.”\n\nIgnitus sighed to himself in annoyance as he rubbed his head with his right paw as the others by him laughed at the black drakes silly and misguide words which caused Sebastian to look at them in confuse as Ignitus finished rubbing his head and then lowered his right paw back to the ground as he looked back up at Sebastian and saw his confused look. \n\n“Why are they laughing for, Ignitus? Why?” \n\nIgnitus gave Sebastian a smirk of his own which caused the drake to raise his left eyebrow in question, “They’re laughing because you think I’m still the leader of the Guardians. That’s why they’ll laughing, Sebastian.”\n\nSebastian let out an angry growl from his mouth this time, “You’re no longer the leader of the Guardians? Please tell me your joking, right?” \n\nIgnitus shook his head no as Volteer chimed in to finish the answer, “Nope, he’s no longer leader anymore. He passed on the title to someone else.” \n\n“Well? Who is this new leader then?” Sebastian asked rather irritated.\n\n“That would be me, Sebastian.” Cyril said straight to the point and coldly. \n\nSebastian looked towards the ice drake with his eyes really good this time and let out a loud laugh that echoed throughout the area around them, as he continued laughing as Cyril and the others frowned and were starting to get really annoyed with this Guardians attitude and ways. Sebastian his laughing as he rubbed his eyes with his left paw and looked towards the blue dragon once more.\n\n“You’re joking right, Ignitus.” \n\nIgnitus shook his head once more as his tail swayed behind him gently, “Have I ever lied to you, Sebastian.”\n\n“No, never. But why Cyril though? Why him of all dragons?” \n\nIgnitus chuckled this time, “Well, besides him being my life-mate. I choose him to replace me as leader. It was a… last minute decision on my part as I was the only dragon to get Spyro and Cynder across the Belt of Fire during the war with the Dark Master. So, it was a last-minute decision and one that I had to make on my part. So, I choose my life-mate Cyril to replace me at the last moment and I don’t regret my decision neither. “\n\nSebastian looked away from the fire Guardian back to Cyril and gave him the new leader a glare of the eyes, “Hmm is that so, Ignitus. I think you made a poor choice in new leadership on your part.” \n\nIgnitus was about to counter back, but Cyril his mate cut in before he could though, “Then you’re just going to have to live with it, Sebastian. Ignitus my beloved life-mate here, choose me for the job and if you don’t like it. You can always leave and never come back at all.”\n\nSebastian frowned now, “True. You maybe be the new Leader of the Guardians and their districts, Cyril, but that doesn’t mean I’m always going to agree, listen, or believe your words.” \n\n“I wasn’t expecting you to agree or listen to me on anything, Sebastian. Yet you haven’t even introduced yourself to our young heroes who are standing with us tonight.” Cyril said plainly. \n\nSebastian turned his head to where Spyro and Cynder are and looked at them in disdain, “Ahh yes, the two so called heroes who stopped and defeated Malefor to save the world. Rather impressive, I will admit that, but anybody or anyone could have done the same as they did as well.”\n\nVolteer snared this time as Sebastian looked his way this time, “They saved the world and defeated a great evil, Sebastian!” \n\nThe black drake merely smirked once again, “So, they saved the world and defeated a great evil, Volteer. Big whop, but the world keeps spinning and we keep living.” \n\nAfter that comment Ignitus, Terrador, Volteer, Spyro, and Cynder had just about had enough of this dragon’s attitude, comments, and looks. As snares and growls could be heard and seen which made Sebastian grin, but there was one dragon who remind calm and mature throughout this whole ideal though and that was Cyril. Who just sighed to himself and shook his head for a few seconds before stopping and looking up towards the black dragon who caused all this non-sense to begin with.\n\n“To be honest Sebastian, you should be grateful and glad that Spyro and Cynder did save the world and stopped Malefor from destroying all life in the dragon realms. Otherwise, you, I, and the others wouldn’t be standing here today and talking right now.” Cyril said maturely. \n\nSebastian turned his head from the others and looked towards ice Guardian with disdain this time around, “That is true that I should be grateful and glad that the young dragons did their job, but as I said before Cyril. Anyone or anybody could have done or did what Spyro and Cynder have done to save the world or defeat Malefor at the same time.”\n\nCyril just nodded, “True, but I think our time with talking with you is up and done. I and the other Guardians have our duties to do right now. So, you can leave if you wish, Sebastian.” \n\nSebastian nodded, “I think I will leave for now. Let’s go, Fang.” \n\nWith that both Sebastian and Fang had started walking away from the other Guardians and up the steps into the council building a head of them. As they both got halfway up the steps, the ice dragon Cyril had yelled out the name, “Sebastian” which caused the two Guardians to stop and turn their heads over their left shoulder and look towards the leader of the Guardians, Cyril and his mate Ignitus as they had their bodies facing toward the steps and towards Sebastian and Fang to now. \n\n“What is it you want, Cyril?” Sebastian asked rather rudely and frustrated. \n\nCyril gave Sebastian a mature and calm look before his proudly confident and commanding words followed out, “Let me make something clear here, Sebastian. Before you go walking in and settling down for the night.” \n\nSebastian frowned, “Then fire away, Cyril.” \n\n“While you’re are here you are to respect both me, my friends, Spyro and Cynder, and other the Guardians as you stay here in Warfang for the Guardians meeting this weekend. Should I hear anything of you causing trouble, mayhem, fighting, or sending death threats, there will be hell to pay. Second, when you and the other Guardians are in the meeting room you are to always address me as Leader or Guardian, should you say my first name or disrespect me with disgust, disdain, or hate. I will have you removed from the meeting room and the building entirely. You got that Sebastian?” Cyril said in a commanding tone. \n\nSebastian frowned every more as a frustrated angry growl escaped from his muzzle as his tail whipped around wildly behind him, “Loud and clear, Cyril! Anything else I should be aware of?” \n\nCyril nodded, “Yes. Third and finally, I want you to always stay away from Ignitus during this Guardians meeting this weekend. You are not to speak to him, look at him, or to flirt with him, because if I hear or see you any where near Ignitus this weekend. You are done for, Sebastian.” \n\nSebastian smiled a little bit, “How typically of you, Cyril. Your wish is granted then. Anything else I should know about?” \n\nCyril shook his head this time, “No. You may leave, Sebastian.”\n\nAfter everything was all said and done, Sebastian and Fang turned their heads around and started walking up the steps into the council building together. As both Guardians were out of sight and hearing as they entered the council building, Cyril sighed and rubbed the back of his neck with his left paw as Ignitus looked over to his mate and bumped shoulders with him causing the ice dragon to smile a bit as he and Ignitus talked amongst themselves. Behind them, Volteer and Terrador looked at each other as well and gave each other loving and knowing look as they turned their heads forwards and watched Cyril and Ignitus talking to each other. However, that changed when the electricity dragon felt a small tipping on his right arm scales to his right which caused him to look right and spot the black dragoness, Cynder. As she was the one caused the light tapping. Volteer looked down at her and Spyro right next to her and smiled at them. \n\n“Is there something you need, Cynder?” \n\nCynder nodded, “Umm, yeah actually. Just who was this Sebastian prick any way? He acted like an asshole the entire time.” \n\nSpyro cut in this time too, “Yeah, and what was his problem with Cyril? Do they have like a bad history together or something?”\n\nVolteer huffed softly to himself as he rubbed his neck too, “I was hoping that either Cyril or Ignitus would explain Sebastian’s history to you two someday, but it looks like it falls to me this time.”\n\nTerrador grinned at hearing this, “Or you don’t have to tell them anything at all, Volts?” \n\nVolteer grinned at his mate as he stopped rubbing his neck, “I could, but after everything that happened here tonight, I think Spyro and Cynder have the right to know. Because knowing Cyril and Ignitus, they’ll probably tired and drained after talking with Sebastian and most likely won’t be in the best of moods to explain or tell Spyro and Cynder about Sebastian’s past.” \n\nTerrador nodded, “That is true. Well then young dragons, what is it you would like to know about Sebastian?” \n\n“Everything, really.” Cynder said knowingly. \n\nVolteer huffed this time, “I’m afraid that would take to long to explain Sebastian’s past, but I will give you and Spyro the easy and short answer.”\n\nCynder nodded as Spyro spoke first, “Well, what sort of Guardian is he?” \n\n“He is the Guardian of Darkness and led Guardian over his district of the realms, he’s known for his brutal fighting style, and loves to train the next generation of future Guardians to a small degree.” Volteer said truthfully. \n\nThe darkness part of the comment got to Cynder right away, “Darkness? That sounds awfully like my Shadows?”\nVolteer nodded and smiled, “Yes, they are basically the same thing Cynder. As for the Guardian title of it though, it has gone through many names through the years. Some have called it, Dark, Shadow, Shade, and the names kept going on and on down the years, but we Guardians have always called it Darkness or Guardian of Darkness since then. I hardily doubt the title will ever change.” \n\nSpyro chimed in this time, “What about Sebastian’s relationship with Cyril and Ignitus then?” \n\nVolteer sighed this time, “This is where things get really tense and bad. Well to put it simply, you two heard from Sebastian earlier that I once tried to get Ignitus’s attention back in the past. Right?” \n\nBoth Spyro and Cynder nodded as the lightning drake gave them a toothy grin, “Well, Sebastian was like that way to as well in the past maybe he still is to this day, but I don’t know. He was head over heals and crazily in love with Ignitus back then, but his view of love was more of wanting and obsession really. He wanted Ignitus for himself and only himself for all the wrong and bad reasons. For me back then I wanted to love and be with Ignitus romantic, but Sebastian though he was more obsessed with Ignitus then anything.” \n\n“Jeez, I didn’t realize Ignitus was a babe magnet back then?” Cynder said amazed. \n\nTerrador nodded, “Yep, Ignitus was quite good looking back in our younger days. He was handsome, hot, sexy, and charming back in those days. Almost everybody wanted to be with him too, males and females, but Ignitus never gave them a time or day. He only wanted one dragon, and that was Cyril.”\n\nVolteer smiled, “Any ways, we’re getting off topic here. When Ignitus and Cyril came out to us that were life-mates, we were all happy, supportive, glad, and grateful they were together and happy as can be. For me it was heartbreaking and hard to accept it, but I had my friends and mentor to help me with the pain and over time I managed to get better and better, and finally I learned to accept Ignitus and Cyril’s relationship and become great friends with them, but for Sebastian when he found out about their relationship. He was devasted and very much angry, so he decided then and there if he couldn’t have Ignitus then no can have him.”\n\nThis got Spyro’s full attention, “So, what did Sebastian do then Volteer?” \n\n“Do you remember when I told you and Cynder stories about mine and Terrador’s old mentors and former Guardians of Earth and Electricity?” Volteer asked Spyro. \n\nSpyro and Cynder nodded which made Volteer happy knowing that the younger dragons remembered his stories, “Our former mentors weren’t they’re that day when Cyril and Ignitus came out to us and the other Guardians that day. They had gone out to Warfang that day to pick up some suppliers to bring back to the Temple back in the swamp, however Sebastian was out and about, and he decided to…” \n\nVolteer tried to finish what he was saying before he cut off by Cynder, “Let me guess, Sebastian told the former Guardians of their relationship and didn’t approve of their relationship and tried to do something about it. Right?” \n\nVolteer nodded, “You’re correct young Cynder, but there’s more to it then just that. You see, our former mentors decided to take the new information and matter to the leader of the Guardians who just so happened to be Ignitus’s master and teacher at the time. When our former mentors told and revealed this information to their leader, he already knew about his student’s relationship with Cyril and approved it, but our former masters didn’t like this one bit and decided if their leader wouldn’t do something about it. Then they would.” \n\n“And did they, Volteer?” Spyro asked questioningly. \n\nVolteer nodded as his mate Terrador decided to cut in this time, “I’ll explain this part, Volts. Yes, they did try to do something, but it never went any where though. Our former masters tried to get the other Guardians in their districts to be involved with them and have a vote on whether or not to banish Ignitus and Cyril from the temple or have them separate. However though, they didn’t get the support or help they needed. They found out the hard way that the other Guardians in their districts actually approved and supported the relationship between Cyril and Ignitus and saw it as a sign of good and happy things to come.”\n\nVolteer cut in this time, “And our former masters also needed the “okay” to voting from the leader of the Guardians and the second in command, who both approved of the relationship.” \n\nCynder grinned this time, “I’m guessing Cyril’s former master was the second in command back then?” \n\nTerrador shook his head, “Sadly no, Cynder. The second in command at that time was Zephyr’s former master, Anore the Guardian of Wind.”\n\n“Back to the topic at hand though. Our former masters were then given a choice from the Leader of the Guardians. Their choices were that they could stay and continue their lives as Guardians and support Cyril and Ignitus relationship or they could retire early and leave. So, they choose the latter and stayed, but they never really approved of the relationship after that and mostly kept their hateful, dislike, comments and thoughts to themselves, but for Sebastian it was a different story.” Volteer said truthful. \n\nTerrador nodded, “Yeah, for Sebastian it was different. He was mad and very much angry that the Guardians didn’t anything about it, but his situation was about to get much worse though. When Cyril and Ignitus found out about Sebastian’s involvement and telling our former masters of Earth and Electricity about their relationship, they both confronted Sebastian with questions. At first the black dragon tried to deny his involvement, but Cyril had found evidence and showed it to Sebastian. That’s when all hell broke loose. A verbal fight of words happened between the three and after the fight was over, Cyril and Ignitus decided to end their friendship and whatever future relationship with Sebastian. Their fight of words ended, violently.” \n\n“Is that why Cyril and Sebastian hate each other so much?” Spyro asked. \n\nVolteer nodded and chimed in, “Yes, pretty much young dragon. Cyril hated him for that reason and for informing mine and Terrador’s former masters about his and Ignitus’s relationship too. Sebastian then left back home to his master’s district, and we never saw or heard from him again for some time. I mean… you would hear the odd rumour or two about Sebastian, but we just never saw him again after that.”\n\n“And what are your thoughts and feelings about Sebastian then?” Cynder asked rather risky. \n\n“I and Volteer don’t really have a high opinion or good thoughts about Sebastian, and for good reason as well. We don’t hate the bastard, but we very much dislike him though.” Terrador said with honestly in his voice. \n\nVolteer nodded, “And if Zephyr and Anahita were still here with us today, they would have a lot of hateful things to say about him to as well.” \n\n“I really wished you two wouldn’t of have told Spyro and Cynder this stuff about Sebastian.” Cyril said tiredly as he and Ignitus walked up to the four dragons as they suddenly stopped and looked at their friends, “But, I’m glad you two did though. I don’t think I or Ignitus would have had the energy to tell Spyro and Cynder all about Sebastian and his past.” \n\nIgnitus nodded, “Indeed. So, young dragon’s what did you two think of Sebastian then and be honest.” \n\nSpyro and Cynder looked at each other and grinned before they looked towards the red drake as Spyro spoke, “I think Cynder, and I found him to be quite the asshole. To be honest, Ignitus.” \n\nThe four Guardians laughed together and smiled as their laughter continued for a few seconds more before Cyril spoke out, “Terrador and Volteer, could you two go and check to make sure every Guardian is settled in for the night.”\n\nTerrador and Volteer nodded towards their leader and turned around as the two dragons started walking away from them and up the steps into the council building. As the two elder dragons were gone from sight, Cyril turned to look down at Spyro and Cynder and saw the young dragons yawning with tiredness in their voice and bodies.\n \n“I think you two young dragons should go home and rest up, you two like look you need it after tonight.” Cyril spoke out kindly to them. \n\n“You sure you don’t need us for anything else tonight, Cyril?” Spyro asked. \n\nCyril shook his head as he put his right wing over the back of his mate’s back and hugged him close to his right side as Ignitus looked at him and smiled lovingly at him, “No, I don’t think I do young dragon. You and Cynder can go home and rest. So, you and Cynder may leave.” \n\nSpyro and Cynder nodded as they jumped into the air and started flapping their wings to gain height away from the ground. Once they were high in the air and the two young dragons then started flying away from the ice and fire Guardians and headed west for home. Once the two young dragons were far away now, Cyril smiled at the sight and turned his head left and saw Ignitus looking and smiling at him. The ice drake grinned and squeezed his tail lovingly around his mate’s red tail causing the fire dragon to chuckle. \n\n“What do you say you and I get some rest as well, hot stuff?” Cyril suggested to his mate.\n \nIgnitus smiled tiredly and nodded, “Now that sounds like the best thing you said all day, love.” \n\nWith that the two dragons turned around and started walking down the sidewalk together and headed for the one place they knew and loved very much.                                                A Guardian’s Weekend

(Outside of Warfang’s Council Building.)

“Remind me again, Ignitus. Why we’re holding this Guardian meeting with the other Guardians and their districts for any way.” Cyril asked his mate right next to his left as the ice dragon finished shaking paws with another dragon and fellow Guardian as the other dragon left and then started walked up the steps into the council building behind the six dragons that were standing outside in front of the building.

The golden council building standing tall and strong behind the six dragons up front. Was your typically council building, it had a large silver shaped dome for the roof top, large golden pillars going around the entire building, crystal clear glass windows, large wooden dark oak doors for the entrance way and exits, six large stone dragons were sitting in front of the golden pillars and looking noble and well weathered, and flowerpots with golden color on them were stationed at the doorway to the building. Altogether the council building was well cared for and good for its age.

Ignitus smirked as his tail swayed behind him, “You know why love. We need to know how many of our fellow Guardians survived, are missing or dead, to who are retired, to those who simply walked away from the job, and to replace the Guardians who sadly died with their candidates or students.”

Cyril let an annoyed growl escape from his throat as his pale-colored wings with purple membranes twitched, “I know that much, Iggy?! I am the one who organized this event in the first place.”

The others smiled and laughed silently to themselves while Volteer chimed in, “Then why are you complaining and asking such stupid questions then?”

Ignitus sighed to himself as he shook his head as did Terrador as well, while Spyro and Cynder on the blue dragon’s left side giggled. Cyril sent a cold and hard glare towards the electricity dragon at the end of the line, “Volteer, if you wish to keep that bloodily fucking silver tongue of yours in that of talkative mouth of yours in check. Then I suggest you shut the hell up and let me do my job. Alright?”

Volteer nodded rather quickly and looked forward once more, the ice dragon then heard some giggling coming to his left and quickly looked over and down to see Spyro and Cynder giggling and smiling together. Cyril would usually frown from being laughed at, but for the two young dragon’s case though. The ice Guardian just smiled and let out a small laugh himself as the two young dragons laughed and smiled once more.

Cyril looked at Spyro and Cynder clearly right now and saw how much they had grown within the year. The young purple dragon himself was still the same of course, still had purple scales and yellow goldish scaley underbelly, but he had grown a couple inches taller now, his orange-yellow wings with pink membranes had slightly bigger and long wingspan now, the first two crests on his head had grown slightly big including his back spines as well, his muzzle had grown out a bit more now and was slightly long, but still looked nice and smooth, his horns had grown a little bit longer, his front half was more macular now including his back half, his tail was a bit longer now and his tail spade splitted in three edges also had grown in length too, and finally he had two pairs yellow goldish crests from his scaley chest. Spyro not only looked very mature and handsome now, but he was 16 years old now. 16? Boy was the ice dragon getting old in age.

As for Cynder, she kind of remind the same too blacks scales and magenta scaley underbelly. She herself was 16 as well. Her black wingspan with magenta membranes was big and longer now, her tail had grown out just as long too, her horns and the back of her head crests separated into pointed spikes now had grown out longer then that of Spyro’s, her sickled blades on her wings now face the outward instead of inward had also grown, her beak shaped muzzle had grown out long and pretty now, her body proportions were looking more adult like now, the white symbols on her forehead and shoulders were just slightly big now, her silver tail spade was longer, big, and sharp, she still wore platinum choker around her neck, platinum bracers on her arms, she also wore not just one bracer on her tail, but she actually wore two now, she was very lithe and lean now, and she was just as tall as Spyro is, but if you looked closer in though. You’d soon found out that Cynder was just an inch shorter than her lover was, and that was something that Sparxs always joked about. About how Spyro was taller than her or that she was short and couldn’t reach for anything, the black dragoness grew annoyed sometimes with Sparxs jokes about her height while the other times she would just get plain mad or angry with the dragonfly and start chasing him around her and Spyro’s home. All together though, Cynder was growing up beautifully and maturely now, and the Guardians couldn’t be prouder for her and Spyro.  

Cyril looked forward once more before he felt something wrapped around his tail and squeeze it tenderly and lovingly. He looked to his left and spotted his mate Ignitus looking at him with love and honestly in his red eyes. He knew it was the fire dragon’s tail that was currently wrapped around his own tail and sent his loving mate a smile of his own in return. The ice drake turned his head away from his mate and saw another fellow Guardian in front of him smiling at him.

As both Guardians shook paws in greeting, the big earth dragon known as Terrador noticed a familiar and distrustful black dragon walking up to them and the steps leading up to the council building. Another dragon was with the black dragon, who Terrador recognized as the Guardian of poison who he befriended and fought with in the past wars known as, Fang the dragon. As for the black dragon though, Terrador had hoped to never see or hear from him again, but yet here he was walking up to him and his fellow friends and Guardians. Cause after all, this black dragon was a Guardian himself to as well. This black dragon was just as tall, strong, lean, and muscular as Volteer was, he has pitch black scales, a light greyish scaley underbelly, he has black wings with grey membranes and there were small holes in his wings, light grey claws and horns, a long tail, his tail spade was that of an arrow head, his horns were longer and curved outward, he has light grey eyes, he has two long scars going up and down in a straight line over his eyes, and finally he had a bright red symbol of a scorpion on his left shoulder. The look this distrustful and foolish elder dragon had was one of the bad boys look and one who looks to cause trouble and mayhem.

After talking and greeting the other Guardian was done with, Cyril looked forward once more and spotted a very familiar and hateful face and dragon he had hoped to never see again, but the very dragon who he hated with flying colors was standing face to face with him and was giving him an arrogant smirk. Which made the ice dragon frown and glare at the black dragon standing right in front of him and the others. Ignitus looked at the black drake in disgust and distrust as he too glared hard at the black dragon.

“Well, it’s been some time. Hasn’t it, Sebastian.” Ignitus said with distrust in his voice.

The black dragon known as Sebastian turned his head away from Cyril for a moment and looked towards Ignitus with the same arrogant smirk and look he gave toward the leader of the Guardians, Cyril and then reached with his left paw to go and grab the fire dragons own right paw, but Ignitus saw this happen and swatted the other Guardians left paw away from him making Sebastian laugh at the sight as he lowered his left paw back to the ground as he looked the four Guardians and Spyro and Cynder with his greyish eyes as the Guardians and even Spyro and Cynder gave looks of distrust and disgust in their eyes which made the elder dragon grin.

He looked to back to Ignitus and gave him a flirter look this time, “It has been sometime, hasn’t it sweetheart. I heard from the others you had died during the war with Malefor, but here you are standing right in front of me clear as day.”

Cyril let out a jealous growl escape from his muzzle, but the red dragon gave his mate the look that said, “I can handle this myself, love.” To which calmed down Cyril’s nerves and emotions for now, but Ignitus could still hear a rumble of a growl coming from his mate which made him sigh out in an annoyed huff. As for Spyro and Cynder they decide to get up and walked back behind the four Guardians and left for electricity dragon’s right side and decide to stand there with him and watch the scene from afar which caused Volteer to look down at them and smile for a few seconds before he stopped and turned his head to the left and watched the scene between Cyril, Ignitus, and Sebastian play out.

“Let me make one thing clear here. Don’t call me sweetheart, Sebastian! After what you nearly did to my and Cyril’s relationship back then. Your lucky to even be here in the first place.” Ignitus pointed out rather clear and annoyed.

Sebastian just smirked, “Oh Ignitus. Please don’t tell me, your still with this ice bucket of a dragon.” Which Sebastian gestured out with his thumb claw from his right paw towards Cyril in front of him as the blue Guardians sent him an angry growl as his tail whipped around behind him and claws grabbing the hard in a vice like grip.

“Why have him Ignitus, when you can have all of me instead.” Sebastian flirted out to Ignitus.

Ignitus gave Sebastian a annoyed look of the eyes now, “Because unlike you Sebastian, at least Cyril treats me with respect, love, friendship, laughter, kindness, and joy. You just wanted me for yourself, you damn bastard.”

Sebastian just chuckled before looking towards Volteer now and countered back, “And yet, Volteer was no different from me back in past. He wanted you just as much as well Ignitus, and yet he is here standing with you and others as a friend and comrade. Why I say that you and your words a bit hypocritically. Don’t you think?”

Volteer was about to jump in and have his own say, but that all stopped when he felt his mate Terrador place his right paw over his scaley blue chest where his heart lay and was. He spotted the earth drake giving him a loving smile and mouthed the words to him, “I’ve got this, thunder butt.” Volteer looked down at his paws and claws breathed in then out as he looked back up and gave his mate a loving nod with his head as he looked back towards the black Guardian Sebastian and saw him looking towards him and now Terrador as well. The earth dragon lowered his right paw back to the ground and locked eyes with Sebastian’s grey ones.

“Why that may have been true, Sebastian. My beloved mate Volteer is different from the one in the past, he’s changed now and no longer wants Ignitus any more or in any way. So don’t you ever, ever try to compare yourself to Volteer in any shape or form again, Sebastian or you won’t like what I’ll will do to you!” Terrador said truthful and threateningly.

Sebastian merely smirked as his tail moved behind him, “Is that threat supposed to scare me, Terrador?

Terrador nodded and snared, “Yes, and you should take it very seriously Sebastian.”

Sebastian just laughed, “Oh please, a hatching could make up a better threat then that Terrador.”

“Why you little…” Terrador almost said as Ignitus’s voice cut in real quick, “Alright, that is enough! “Everybody looked towards the red dragon and saw his calm and mature look right now and knew right away they crossed the line.

Ignitus red eyes were glazed over with a strong and calmness in them as he looked between Sebastian and Terrador right now, “No fighting, alright. We’re Guardians here and we should be acting like Guardians right now.”
 
“He’s right you know. Wise words as ever, Ignitus.”

Ignitus turned his head back forward and gave the other Guardian in front of him an annoyed and a frustrated look as he pointed his claw from his right paw toward Sebastian, “Don’t push your luck, Sebastian. You’re on thin ice enough already, so keep your own words to yourself.”

Sebastian smirked, “Of course, sweetheart You’re the leader after all.”

Ignitus sighed to himself in annoyance as he rubbed his head with his right paw as the others by him laughed at the black drakes silly and misguide words which caused Sebastian to look at them in confuse as Ignitus finished rubbing his head and then lowered his right paw back to the ground as he looked back up at Sebastian and saw his confused look.

“Why are they laughing for, Ignitus? Why?”

Ignitus gave Sebastian a smirk of his own which caused the drake to raise his left eyebrow in question, “They’re laughing because you think I’m still the leader of the Guardians. That’s why they’ll laughing, Sebastian.”

Sebastian let out an angry growl from his mouth this time, “You’re no longer the leader of the Guardians? Please tell me your joking, right?”

Ignitus shook his head no as Volteer chimed in to finish the answer, “Nope, he’s no longer leader anymore. He passed on the title to someone else.”

“Well? Who is this new leader then?” Sebastian asked rather irritated.

“That would be me, Sebastian.” Cyril said straight to the point and coldly.

Sebastian looked towards the ice drake with his eyes really good this time and let out a loud laugh that echoed throughout the area around them, as he continued laughing as Cyril and the others frowned and were starting to get really annoyed with this Guardians attitude and ways. Sebastian his laughing as he rubbed his eyes with his left paw and looked towards the blue dragon once more.

“You’re joking right, Ignitus.”

Ignitus shook his head once more as his tail swayed behind him gently, “Have I ever lied to you, Sebastian.”

“No, never. But why Cyril though? Why him of all dragons?”

Ignitus chuckled this time, “Well, besides him being my life-mate. I choose him to replace me as leader. It was a… last minute decision on my part as I was the only dragon to get Spyro and Cynder across the Belt of Fire during the war with the Dark Master. So, it was a last-minute decision and one that I had to make on my part. So, I choose my life-mate Cyril to replace me at the last moment and I don’t regret my decision neither. “

Sebastian looked away from the fire Guardian back to Cyril and gave him the new leader a glare of the eyes, “Hmm is that so, Ignitus. I think you made a poor choice in new leadership on your part.”

Ignitus was about to counter back, but Cyril his mate cut in before he could though, “Then you’re just going to have to live with it, Sebastian. Ignitus my beloved life-mate here, choose me for the job and if you don’t like it. You can always leave and never come back at all.”

Sebastian frowned now, “True. You maybe be the new Leader of the Guardians and their districts, Cyril, but that doesn’t mean I’m always going to agree, listen, or believe your words.”

“I wasn’t expecting you to agree or listen to me on anything, Sebastian. Yet you haven’t even introduced yourself to our young heroes who are standing with us tonight.” Cyril said plainly.

Sebastian turned his head to where Spyro and Cynder are and looked at them in disdain, “Ahh yes, the two so called heroes who stopped and defeated Malefor to save the world. Rather impressive, I will admit that, but anybody or anyone could have done the same as they did as well.”

Volteer snared this time as Sebastian looked his way this time, “They saved the world and defeated a great evil, Sebastian!”

The black drake merely smirked once again, “So, they saved the world and defeated a great evil, Volteer. Big whop, but the world keeps spinning and we keep living.”

After that comment Ignitus, Terrador, Volteer, Spyro, and Cynder had just about had enough of this dragon’s attitude, comments, and looks. As snares and growls could be heard and seen which made Sebastian grin, but there was one dragon who remind calm and mature throughout this whole ideal though and that was Cyril. Who just sighed to himself and shook his head for a few seconds before stopping and looking up towards the black dragon who caused all this non-sense to begin with.

“To be honest Sebastian, you should be grateful and glad that Spyro and Cynder did save the world and stopped Malefor from destroying all life in the dragon realms. Otherwise, you, I, and the others wouldn’t be standing here today and talking right now.” Cyril said maturely.

Sebastian turned his head from the others and looked towards ice Guardian with disdain this time around, “That is true that I should be grateful and glad that the young dragons did their job, but as I said before Cyril. Anyone or anybody could have done or did what Spyro and Cynder have done to save the world or defeat Malefor at the same time.”

Cyril just nodded, “True, but I think our time with talking with you is up and done. I and the other Guardians have our duties to do right now. So, you can leave if you wish, Sebastian.”

Sebastian nodded, “I think I will leave for now. Let’s go, Fang.”

With that both Sebastian and Fang had started walking away from the other Guardians and up the steps into the council building a head of them. As they both got halfway up the steps, the ice dragon Cyril had yelled out the name, “Sebastian” which caused the two Guardians to stop and turn their heads over their left shoulder and look towards the leader of the Guardians, Cyril and his mate Ignitus as they had their bodies facing toward the steps and towards Sebastian and Fang to now.

“What is it you want, Cyril?” Sebastian asked rather rudely and frustrated.

Cyril gave Sebastian a mature and calm look before his proudly confident and commanding words followed out, “Let me make something clear here, Sebastian. Before you go walking in and settling down for the night.”

Sebastian frowned, “Then fire away, Cyril.”

“While you’re are here you are to respect both me, my friends, Spyro and Cynder, and other the Guardians as you stay here in Warfang for the Guardians meeting this weekend. Should I hear anything of you causing trouble, mayhem, fighting, or sending death threats, there will be hell to pay. Second, when you and the other Guardians are in the meeting room you are to always address me as Leader or Guardian, should you say my first name or disrespect me with disgust, disdain, or hate. I will have you removed from the meeting room and the building entirely. You got that Sebastian?” Cyril said in a commanding tone.

Sebastian frowned every more as a frustrated angry growl escaped from his muzzle as his tail whipped around wildly behind him, “Loud and clear, Cyril! Anything else I should be aware of?”

Cyril nodded, “Yes. Third and finally, I want you to always stay away from Ignitus during this Guardians meeting this weekend. You are not to speak to him, look at him, or to flirt with him, because if I hear or see you any where near Ignitus this weekend. You are done for, Sebastian.”

Sebastian smiled a little bit, “How typically of you, Cyril. Your wish is granted then. Anything else I should know about?”

Cyril shook his head this time, “No. You may leave, Sebastian.”

After everything was all said and done, Sebastian and Fang turned their heads around and started walking up the steps into the council building together. As both Guardians were out of sight and hearing as they entered the council building, Cyril sighed and rubbed the back of his neck with his left paw as Ignitus looked over to his mate and bumped shoulders with him causing the ice dragon to smile a bit as he and Ignitus talked amongst themselves. Behind them, Volteer and Terrador looked at each other as well and gave each other loving and knowing look as they turned their heads forwards and watched Cyril and Ignitus talking to each other. However, that changed when the electricity dragon felt a small tipping on his right arm scales to his right which caused him to look right and spot the black dragoness, Cynder. As she was the one caused the light tapping. Volteer looked down at her and Spyro right next to her and smiled at them.

“Is there something you need, Cynder?”

Cynder nodded, “Umm, yeah actually. Just who was this Sebastian prick any way? He acted like an asshole the entire time.”

Spyro cut in this time too, “Yeah, and what was his problem with Cyril? Do they have like a bad history together or something?”

Volteer huffed softly to himself as he rubbed his neck too, “I was hoping that either Cyril or Ignitus would explain Sebastian’s history to you two someday, but it looks like it falls to me this time.”

Terrador grinned at hearing this, “Or you don’t have to tell them anything at all, Volts?”

Volteer grinned at his mate as he stopped rubbing his neck, “I could, but after everything that happened here tonight, I think Spyro and Cynder have the right to know. Because knowing Cyril and Ignitus, they’ll probably tired and drained after talking with Sebastian and most likely won’t be in the best of moods to explain or tell Spyro and Cynder about Sebastian’s past.”

Terrador nodded, “That is true. Well then young dragons, what is it you would like to know about Sebastian?”

“Everything, really.” Cynder said knowingly.

Volteer huffed this time, “I’m afraid that would take to long to explain Sebastian’s past, but I will give you and Spyro the easy and short answer.”

Cynder nodded as Spyro spoke first, “Well, what sort of Guardian is he?”

“He is the Guardian of Darkness and led Guardian over his district of the realms, he’s known for his brutal fighting style, and loves to train the next generation of future Guardians to a small degree.” Volteer said truthfully.

The darkness part of the comment got to Cynder right away, “Darkness? That sounds awfully like my Shadows?”
Volteer nodded and smiled, “Yes, they are basically the same thing Cynder. As for the Guardian title of it though, it has gone through many names through the years. Some have called it, Dark, Shadow, Shade, and the names kept going on and on down the years, but we Guardians have always called it Darkness or Guardian of Darkness since then. I hardily doubt the title will ever change.”  

Spyro chimed in this time, “What about Sebastian’s relationship with Cyril and Ignitus then?”

Volteer sighed this time, “This is where things get really tense and bad. Well to put it simply, you two heard from Sebastian earlier that I once tried to get Ignitus’s attention back in the past. Right?”

Both Spyro and Cynder nodded as the lightning drake gave them a toothy grin, “Well, Sebastian was like that way to as well in the past maybe he still is to this day, but I don’t know. He was head over heals and crazily in love with Ignitus back then, but his view of love was more of wanting and obsession really. He wanted Ignitus for himself and only himself for all the wrong and bad reasons. For me back then I wanted to love and be with Ignitus romantic, but Sebastian though he was more obsessed with Ignitus then anything.”

“Jeez, I didn’t realize Ignitus was a babe magnet back then?” Cynder said amazed.

Terrador nodded, “Yep, Ignitus was quite good looking back in our younger days. He was handsome, hot, sexy, and charming back in those days. Almost everybody wanted to be with him too, males and females, but Ignitus never gave them a time or day. He only wanted one dragon, and that was Cyril.”

Volteer smiled, “Any ways, we’re getting off topic here. When Ignitus and Cyril came out to us that were life-mates, we were all happy, supportive, glad, and grateful they were together and happy as can be. For me it was heartbreaking and hard to accept it, but I had my friends and mentor to help me with the pain and over time I managed to get better and better, and finally I learned to accept Ignitus and Cyril’s relationship and become great friends with them, but for Sebastian when he found out about their relationship. He was devasted and very much angry, so he decided then and there if he couldn’t have Ignitus then no can have him.”

This got Spyro’s full attention, “So, what did Sebastian do then Volteer?”

“Do you remember when I told you and Cynder stories about mine and Terrador’s old mentors and former Guardians of Earth and Electricity?” Volteer asked Spyro.

Spyro and Cynder nodded which made Volteer happy knowing that the younger dragons remembered his stories, “Our former mentors weren’t they’re that day when Cyril and Ignitus came out to us and the other Guardians that day. They had gone out to Warfang that day to pick up some suppliers to bring back to the Temple back in the swamp, however Sebastian was out and about, and he decided to…”

Volteer tried to finish what he was saying before he cut off by Cynder, “Let me guess, Sebastian told the former Guardians of their relationship and didn’t approve of their relationship and tried to do something about it. Right?”

Volteer nodded, “You’re correct young Cynder, but there’s more to it then just that. You see, our former mentors decided to take the new information and matter to the leader of the Guardians who just so happened to be Ignitus’s master and teacher at the time. When our former mentors told and revealed this information to their leader, he already knew about his student’s relationship with Cyril and approved it, but our former masters didn’t like this one bit and decided if their leader wouldn’t do something about it. Then they would.”

“And did they, Volteer?” Spyro asked questioningly.

Volteer nodded as his mate Terrador decided to cut in this time, “I’ll explain this part, Volts. Yes, they did try to do something, but it never went any where though. Our former masters tried to get the other Guardians in their districts to be involved with them and have a vote on whether or not to banish Ignitus and Cyril from the temple or have them separate. However though, they didn’t get the support or help they needed. They found out the hard way that the other Guardians in their districts actually approved and supported the relationship between Cyril and Ignitus and saw it as a sign of good and happy things to come.”

Volteer cut in this time, “And our former masters also needed the “okay” to voting from the leader of the Guardians and the second in command, who both approved of the relationship.”

Cynder grinned this time, “I’m guessing Cyril’s former master was the second in command back then?”

Terrador shook his head, “Sadly no, Cynder. The second in command at that time was Zephyr’s former master, Anore the Guardian of Wind.”

“Back to the topic at hand though. Our former masters were then given a choice from the Leader of the Guardians. Their choices were that they could stay and continue their lives as Guardians and support Cyril and Ignitus relationship or they could retire early and leave. So, they choose the latter and stayed, but they never really approved of the relationship after that and mostly kept their hateful, dislike, comments and thoughts to themselves, but for Sebastian it was a different story.” Volteer said truthful.

Terrador nodded, “Yeah, for Sebastian it was different. He was mad and very much angry that the Guardians didn’t anything about it, but his situation was about to get much worse though. When Cyril and Ignitus found out about Sebastian’s involvement and telling our former masters of Earth and Electricity about their relationship, they both confronted Sebastian with questions. At first the black dragon tried to deny his involvement, but Cyril had found evidence and showed it to Sebastian. That’s when all hell broke loose. A verbal fight of words happened between the three and after the fight was over, Cyril and Ignitus decided to end their friendship and whatever future relationship with Sebastian. Their fight of words ended, violently.”

“Is that why Cyril and Sebastian hate each other so much?” Spyro asked.

Volteer nodded and chimed in, “Yes, pretty much young dragon. Cyril hated him for that reason and for informing mine and Terrador’s former masters about his and Ignitus’s relationship too. Sebastian then left back home to his master’s district, and we never saw or heard from him again for some time. I mean… you would hear the odd rumour or two about Sebastian, but we just never saw him again after that.”

“And what are your thoughts and feelings about Sebastian then?” Cynder asked rather risky.

“I and Volteer don’t really have a high opinion or good thoughts about Sebastian, and for good reason as well. We don’t hate the bastard, but we very much dislike him though.” Terrador said with honestly in his voice.

Volteer nodded, “And if Zephyr and Anahita were still here with us today, they would have a lot of hateful things to say about him to as well.”

“I really wished you two wouldn’t of have told Spyro and Cynder this stuff about Sebastian.” Cyril said tiredly as he and Ignitus walked up to the four dragons as they suddenly stopped and looked at their friends, “But, I’m glad you two did though. I don’t think I or Ignitus would have had the energy to tell Spyro and Cynder all about Sebastian and his past.”

Ignitus nodded, “Indeed. So, young dragon’s what did you two think of Sebastian then and be honest.”

Spyro and Cynder looked at each other and grinned before they looked towards the red drake as Spyro spoke, “I think Cynder, and I found him to be quite the asshole. To be honest, Ignitus.”

The four Guardians laughed together and smiled as their laughter continued for a few seconds more before Cyril spoke out, “Terrador and Volteer, could you two go and check to make sure every Guardian is settled in for the night.”

Terrador and Volteer nodded towards their leader and turned around as the two dragons started walking away from them and up the steps into the council building. As the two elder dragons were gone from sight, Cyril turned to look down at Spyro and Cynder and saw the young dragons yawning with tiredness in their voice and bodies.
 
“I think you two young dragons should go home and rest up, you two like look you need it after tonight.” Cyril spoke out kindly to them.

“You sure you don’t need us for anything else tonight, Cyril?” Spyro asked.

Cyril shook his head as he put his right wing over the back of his mate’s back and hugged him close to his right side as Ignitus looked at him and smiled lovingly at him, “No, I don’t think I do young dragon. You and Cynder can go home and rest. So, you and Cynder may leave.”

Spyro and Cynder nodded as they jumped into the air and started flapping their wings to gain height away from the ground. Once they were high in the air and the two young dragons then started flying away from the ice and fire Guardians and headed west for home. Once the two young dragons were far away now, Cyril smiled at the sight and turned his head left and saw Ignitus looking and smiling at him. The ice drake grinned and squeezed his tail lovingly around his mate’s red tail causing the fire dragon to chuckle.

“What do you say you and I get some rest as well, hot stuff?” Cyril suggested to his mate.
 
Ignitus smiled tiredly and nodded, “Now that sounds like the best thing you said all day, love.”

With that the two dragons turned around and started walking down the sidewalk together and headed for the one place they knew and loved very much. Their bed.
