Pencil on paper was all I did, no light sources, no colour, half the time it was mostly anime portraits too. Then I played around with oil painting, watercolours, charcoals and a ton of other mediums in college (which I consider a fairly worthless experience) then three years ago I started here. The sketch portion was a difficult and often time consuming phase for me. I've been putting extra time into working with basic shapes when figure drawing and not only has my time improved but I'm happier with them too. Along to help me improve I watch anatomy videos and practice still life figure drawing videos. The longer I work with art the more important I realize it is to be proficient at every phase of the image. I'm still working for making sketches more impactful with bolder lines and some value shading. \"Study-study-study-study-\" \"Life is a study\".",
