I hope so, that's why they're called “role-playing” games! I've been dying to draw this guy for a long time. This is Anzu the Raven Lord from Warcraft, with whom my tauren druid (whose arm that is to the right) has a pretty interesting relationship...! It's a storyline I've been putting together ever since I acquired him in-game years ago.\n\nIn the Warcraft universe, Anzu is an ambitious beast who dwells in the druidic sanctuary, the Emerald Dream. As druids undergo their tutelage to earn their swift flight form, they discover a splinter cult of the Skettis Arakkoa worshiping a “raven god” has banded together once again and seeks to bring him and his flock to glory in the Emerald Dream and beyond. Whispers among Grishnath speak of his coming, claiming “the faithful shall be elevated to take flight with the raven, the rest be forgotten to walk upon the ground, clipped wings and shame.\" With the help of the Cenarion Expedition, druids gather the essences of the eagle, the hawk, and the falcon spirits (insert “essence” joke of your choice here), and create an essence-infused moonstone, allowing them to summon Anzu into Azeroth, subdue him, and banish the raven god back to the Dream.\n\nHis lore in the game ends there. But since the battle against him can result in you acquiring him as a mount, it gave me the idea that perhaps Ysera, the dragon aspect who watches over the Emerald Dream, punishes Anzu for his mutiny by sentencing him to be a servant for the one who defeated him. She leaves Azzruk (pictured here in his cat form) with the essence-infused moonstone, allowing him to call upon Anzu whenever he pleases. Azzruk quickly notices Anzu's capabilities as a mount, about as quickly as Anzu expresses his displeasure at being one. But with the power of the moonstone, Anzu is forced to bend to the tauren druid's will.\n\nThe situation is awkward to begin with. But when Azzruk asks Anzu why his preachings involved taking “flight with the raven” when he himself cannot fly, Anzu throws a tantrum that is less fitting of a tyrant bent on world conquest and more befitting for a narcissist with delusions of grandeur, complete with riled squawking and and foot-stomping. In fact, he'd even describe Anzu's megalomania as childish. So once the ice is broken, their conversations are often argumentative in nature, but with Azzruk wielding the power of dominance over Anzu, the raven beast quickly resorts to complaining or petty insults when he doesn't get his way. However, complaining and petty insults can sometimes be the best to hope for, as Azzruk learned one day in Dalaran.\n\nWhile Azzruk was browsing jeweler's apparatuses in the trade district, Anzu's big mouth got them both into trouble when Azzruk commanded his abrasive bird to be quiet. When opening his beak resulted only in silence, Anzu threw a rather nasty fit during which he wrecked almost the entire alchemist's shop next door in anger. The results of so many potions mixing together were nothing short of disastrous to the entire herbological and alchemical section of the trade quarter, and gold-draining for the poor druid. \n\nThey both learned a valuable lesson that day. Azzruk learned he needed to keep Anzu under close watch every moment he was summoned from the Dream, and Anzu learned that if he is to break free of his servitude and regain his “rightful place as the ruler of worlds,” he would need to snatch the moonstone for himself. But how he would manage that was not looking to be easy. Seeing as how he didn't even know where Azzruk keeps the moonstone, Anzu figured his approach may have to be subtle. Despite his finesse at speaking when he's not spoken to, scheming and manipulation is actually among his strengths. He wasn't worshiped by a flock of ravens and a sect of Arakkoa for nothing! Despite his lore being miniscule in amount, it provides the foundation for an attitude that's commanding, cunning, and just the right amount of crazy, not to mention he's a strikingly handsome creature with the perfect blend of regalness and feral allure. Of course, being the anatomy-butchering pervert that I am, I also think he has the perfect backside for a pair of bulging beast balls to dangle from so they can bounce against his plump, fleshy sheath with every stride he makes through the lands of Azeroth.\n\nAnd on top of it all, Anzu seems like the kind of creature that would enjoy every second of it. Each time he turns to see someone behind him staring under his elegantly-long tail plume, the ends of his beak curl with a smirk that says, \"I know what's going through your head.\" Will he find you worthy of finding out? The way he elevates his tail to show off his tender pink pucker and sways his hips so his pendulous package of virility swings against his muscle-ridged legs says he can answer all your questions. All he asks in return is for you to bow at his scaly feet, because after all... that's \"Lord Anzu\" to you.\n\nKinda gives new meaning to doing a dungeon every day hoping to get a mount. =3",
