"description": "I am finally uploading my alien species. About bloody time, I tell ya. I have like a million and nobody has seen them yet. So here's the first one: the batifores.\n\n---\n\nThese species were wrongly classified since the first time Earthling explorers saw them. Male and female batifores are actually completely different races, but their capacity for mating misguided the scientists.\n\nMale batifores are a very intelligent and sociable species, although their obsession with protocol tends to annoy most visitors. They are able to fly thanks to their overdeveloped upper arms, and can use their tail both for maneuvering and grabbing things. They don't have a defined gender; for reproduction, they lay eggs via an extendible tentacle which comes out of their abdomen. They don't need any fecundation, so they basically clone themselves eternally.\n\nFemale batifores are designed for climbing, thanks to their strong claws, tail and legs. They are much more primal than their male counterparts, and use to simply rape other species, using a similar extensible suction tentacle. They are considered some sort of 'living nests': they use their bodies to hold male batifores' eggs until they hatch, which was the main reason for Earthlings' confusion.\n\nOne of the most curious things explorers saw was female batifores jumping off trees and hitting the ground as hard as they could. It appears that they can only reproduce by 'digesting' the males' eggs and modifying them to form members of their own kind, but their shells are so hard they can't easily dissolve them. Thus why they try to break them physically, even if they're inside their own bodies.",
