"...shit. Stay close!!"
Bowser and Bowser Jr were trekking through a debris stricken dirt tunnel that was once a set of ruins, located deep within the Delphino Islands as Power Stars had now traversed to the far reaches of the islands and one was deep under the island, and the tunnels were surprisingly above water for the most part. That was until, the tide rolled in.
The water splashed at their ankles and suddenly was climbing up them at an alarming rate, so Bowser kept his son close but were soon lifted off the ground by the tide. Bowser kept his son close as the water was nearing the ceiling as he yelled, "Take a deep breath and hold onto it, son!" Jr was quite scared of the predicament, but took his father's advice, took the deepest breath he could and submerged with him. As soon as the current calmed, the two began to swim on side be side, Jr leading ahead.
Bowser watched his son swim ahead, with a strong breast stroke ahead, pumping his legs as he followed behind with a powerful stroke. He watched his son like a hawk, making sure he was going to be okay, and saw no signs of struggle just yet so kept on swimming. The two had vastly underestimated the length of this tunnel as they kept pushing onwards, the tunnel basking in a low, blue glow as Jr showed his first signs of struggle, "Mmngbl... Hrrglhk..."
Bowser swam up to him and pointed at his back, wanting to see if his son wanted to piggyback and his father swam for him. Jr shook his head and kept swimming, but Bowser stayed by hid side just incase he changed his mind.
Soon their swim reached its second minute as there was no sign of the star anywhere and both father and son were starting to struggle. Bowser could feel the convulsions in his chest as he puffed his cheeks, swimming onwards with powerful strokes and kicks, but Jr was having the worst of it, his member erect as he gurgled and bubbled away as his dad could only watch on in horror as his son was drowning, "Hrrglblbl, nnngblaaaghblbl!!"
Soon, Jr couldn't take anymore and with a firm kick of his legs, swam to the ceiling and pushed against it, scratching and clawing at it to try and escape, his air billowing out in long, pained coughs, "Hhrrkkgbl!! Nnggblblaaaaaaghhblblhk!!" Bowser couldn't bear to see his son drown, so without breaking stride, scooped his son in a hug and began swimming with his son pressed against his chest, sharing some air with his son as he continued his swim on very low air. The star had to be further down, but with the air between then running thin, they wouldn't know if they could even make it there.
Bowser clutched his drowning son tight and kicked onwards, determined to see this through even if it drowned the both of them. With powerful kicks and a raging erection, Bowser swam as hard as he could to the depths of the tunnels, holding his son close as a reminder of why he's putting up with this swim, the convulsions hitting hard as his bare feet clenched and kicked wildly with each burst of lost air, the pressure tightly hugging his muscular, bulky form as he swallowed want air was trying to escape and kept on swimming. He wasn't going to give up, not now. But he would have to breathe soon... everyone has to eventually.
