Hello, diary.
Today's certainly been interesting, very interesting indeed. As you saw from last time, I did manage to five in the wreck I saw yesterday and finally got the perfect time and weather to explore within its depths and see what's been lurking inside for all this time. It's certainly been quite exciting to find a seemingly untouched shipwreck preserved under the surface of the Ancloptican ocean, it looked like it hadn't been disturbed in years!
I always took it upon myself for my Marine Biology class at Seaddle University to study a shipwreck and report its findings, even bring back a sample or two. I had heard that a wreck was located around the sea near the Crystal Empire and took my ship to find it. It took a few days, but here it is, the wreck of the CRF (Celestial Royal Frigate) Titania. The ship had been quite the talking point for many a marine biologist from years now, having been one of the major supply ships in the Griffin Sea Wars, but to find it right here supposedly anyone else and in great ship has left me breathless, even before I got in the water!
I spent the last day studying its shape and current integrity, and found it perfect to dive in, the wooden hull looking in fine shape, a large hole in the stern, presumably where it was struck and sank into the depths. With all the supplies supposedly still on it, I'm bound to find something, other divers and lovers be damned! I took my gear and dove into the depths, the ship only being a good eighty feet below the surface, should be enough to swim in, gather some info on the ship's interior and swim out before I start stripping the craft for valuables.
Finding a means of entry, I turned my lights on and started swimming around, taking a mental note of my exit if I ever get lost. I found myself in a series of corridors, a few rooms lined across the side like sleeping cabins, presumably for guests, along with a kitchen and a few storerooms. Below deck were some strewn about hammocks, probably where the crew slept. There were some cannons in the room adjacent, presumably for combat. While the Titania was built for deliveries, there were defences to keep it safe from pirates, but they found a way to sink it, I guess.
After scoping out most of the ship, I heard some shuffling noises, as if there was something big moving around. What sounded like one shuffle turned into two, possibly three! I presumed it was some fish moving around, but was paranoid to think it would be another diver or even worse, sharks. I didn't bring my knife with me, a common mistake often fatal, and readied to make a move if I saw anything. When I did see something, what I saw was not a fellow scuba diver or predator ready to chow on pony meat...
It was a family of three. A naked family of three, may I add. With no provisions at all.
They swam past me and didn't really notice my presence until they were near me. There were three, two female alicorns, one adult and one child, and a male unicorn. The female, presumably the mother smiled at me and waved politely as her shapely legs kicked slowly, her breasts swinging in the water. The child beamed a smile as bubbles flowed from her lips, the father holding her side and smiling back, his massive erection hanging between his thighs. I couldn't believe my eyes, I was dressed head to toe in gear specifically designed for this job, and here were three ponies wearing bloody nothing and only holding their breaths! Even the child who looked no more than eight was comfortably swimming with them, I couldn't even swim properly at eight!
Thinking rationally and trying to conceal the shame between my legs tugging at my suit, I thought they must have a breathing spell, quite common amongst unicorn divers to impress their peers. That's what I would have thought if the filly coughed a lungful of air past puffed cheeks, looking at her parents before the father breathed into her mouth. There was no way these were amateurs, even the child knew how to buddybreathe effectively, a technique that took me until I was eighteen to get right!
I was blown away by their skill, but more to the fact after noticing their cutie marks and the tiara on the mother's head that these were the Crystal Empire royal family, right in front of my face buck naked and diving like they've been doing it all their lives! After waving goodbye, I swam after them and followed them to the surface, taking a breath and asking many questions. Apparently they've been using this wreck to dive just to sightsee, the father, called Shining Armor, was using his royal guard training to take his family to see the wreck. Either my tank was filled with ether, or I'm losing my goddamn mind!
Anyway, I managed to draw a plan of the wreck after another dive, the family joining me and the daughter managing to find secret rooms by wiggling into the tight spots. I offered them to help me out, and their yacht was nearby. After tonight's sleep, they'll accompany me and help me find some hidden treasures. Anyway, must get some sleep, this'll be a great story to the guys at the pub back at the dock!
