Chapter 1
It was a peaceful day in Armonia City. The skies were clear and the sun was beaming. DiM was just coming back from work when she ran into Jasmine.
"O-Oh, sorry Jasmine!" DiM apologized.
"Oh no, you're fine DiM!" Jasmine said. "I'm actually glad I ran into you!"
"You are?" DiM asked.
"Yes!" Jasmine replied. "I have got to tell you about this awesome VR game I've been playing lately! It's amazing! It's called Intimate Desire Online!"
"R-Really? What is it about?" DiM sounded curious.
"It's an epic game where you literally are living the life in the game! You can fight, go on missions, enter in tournaments, have a house, eat food, hang out with friends! It's amazing! Your state of mind goes in the game for a real life experience!" Jasmine said. "You should check it out! It's a nice place to go relieve some stress from work and life!"
"That does seem fun~! I think I would like to try it out~!" DiM said.
"Great! There's a deluxe pack where you can get the VR Headset and IDO game together! Let's go to the game store." Jasmine said. The two girls went to go get DiM's new VR Headset and game. Jasmine said that she will be waiting for her in-game later. DiM went home and was greeted by Al and Cameron.
"Hey DiM! Welcome home!" Al said. "How was work?"
"Hello, Al. It was ok." DiM said.
"Welp, I'm off to play IDO!" Cam said as he started to go upstairs.
"Oh! Maybe I'll see you there! I got the game today." DiM said. Cam slowly turned to DiM with a blush over his cheeks.
"O-Oh? You got the game?" Cam asked. "Oh my... Well u-um, see you there!" He went on to his room and Al looked at DiM with a small blush on his face.
"I'm sure you're gonna have a great time on there! I'm not much of a gaming person." Al said.
"Ok, I'll tell you about it once I logout!" DiM said. She went into her room and plugged the wireless VR set to her computer and popped the game disk in. "So I have to get comfortable and relax so the VR set can read vital signs and get me ready to login... That's strange... But I guess that's reasonable." DiM puts the VR headset on her head and relaxed on her bed. She closed her eyes slowly and breathed calmly. She suddenly saw a colorful vortex that was sucking her in. When she opened her eyes, she was in a black and green digital room.
"Whoa... this is... wow..." DiM said. She looked at herself and saw that she was wearing a basic tanktop and brown leggings.
"Welcome to Intimate Desire Online, newcomer. We would like to firstly thank you for buying the deluxe pack." The computer said. "My name is Ai and I will guide you through the registration. Now, I have already scanned your vitals and learned that you are a 22-year-old ground squirrel, female, chubby body-type."
"That's k-kinda weird t-that you did that, b-b-but ok!" DiM said.
"What will be your username so players can identify you?" Ai asked.
"DiscordMelody." DiM said.
"Very good. That username is available." Ai replied. "Now, we come to the fun part." Several panels appeared in front of DiM. "You are available to choose a class. There are several that you can choose from. Archers: Bow and Arrows as their weapons, Grapplers: Whips and Chains as their weapons, Fist Types: Uses their hands as weapons, Feet Types: Uses their feet as weapons, Swordsman: knives, daggers, shortswords, long swords and great swords as weapons, Gunman: Uses guns as weapons with the exception of the heavy guns because they are unable to carry them, and finally Heavymen: uses heavy guns, hammers, spears as weapons. Please note about their weaknesses and abilities they possess. Choose wisely of what class suits you."
"Hmm..." DiM studied the classes available to her. "I think I will choose Archer with Speed Boost."
"Excellent choice, DiscordMelody." Ai said. "Please select that class." DiM's gently pressed the Archer panel and a quiver full of arrows strapped on her back and the bow in her hand.
"Wow! This is so cool!" DiM said.
"That is your starter bow and arrows. Once you attend the Starter Trails, you will get a stronger bow and arrow and money." Ai said. "Since you registered today, you automatically get 1000G." Ai deposits 1000G to DiM's Wallet.
"Thank you Ai!" DiM said.
"You're very welcome. To access your menu, please tap on your virtual watch. On your menu, you can access many important things. Your inventory, your wallet, your calendar, your stats, help and the logout button."
"Understood." DiM replied.
"Your Starter Trails begins tomorrow when you lo-gin. So for today, please enjoy your first experience on Desire Online. If you need help at all, please go to your watch and click on the help panel." Ai said. "Have fun in the city of Desire!" The room turned white and it was so blinding that DiM had to cover her eyes.
"Ah!" DiM yelped. The light finally went away and she uncovered her eyes to see a lovely world full with bustling people and lively shops. DiM walked around as she scanned the area. There we a lot of people talking and some looking at her with smiles.
"DiM! Ah! DiM over here!" a voice called out. DiM looked and saw Jasmine waving over at her. She was wearing a black and red v-neck top with tight red pants and black high heel boots with silver buckles on them and black and red fingerless gloves holding a silver whip. DiM approached her aweing her outfit.
"W-Wow! You look amazing, Jazzy!" DiM said. "Gosh she's always so comfortable showing skin... Maybe one day I-I can be confident as Jasmine..."
"Awww thank you, sweetie!" Jasmine said. "Once you do your Starter Trails, you'll get a rockin' outfit too! But for now, let me treat you to a drink!" Jasmine led DiM to the Bar. Jasmine slowly approached the colorful bartender, making some drinks.
"Heeey, Sweetbag!" Jasmine said to him. The bartender turns around and smiles widely as he slid the beer down to the customer.
"Eyyy, Cocoapuff!" the bartender says. "Good to see you, love!"
"Good to be here!" Jasmine said. "Ohh intros! DiM this is Cotton. Cotton, this is DiM. She's new to the game." Cotton smiles sweetly at DiM as she shyly hides behind Jasmine.
"Aww, she's a cutie. The name's Cotton, dear. I'm run the bar here~!" Cotton said, cleaning a glass.
"Whenever you want a drink or need some advice, this is the guy you wanna speak to." Jasmine said.
"Since you are new here, drinks are free for today~" Cotton said. "If you don't like alcohol, we have juice and soda."
"W-Well, u-umm you have anything fruity? Like Watermelon Margarita?" DiM asked.
"Oooh so there is an alcoholic in you then?" Cotton said.
"She's a light weight, so go easy on her." Jasmine said.
"Gotcha. One Watermelon Margarita coming up!" Cotton said. He entertained DiM as he created her drink in front of her.
"Ohhhh~" DiM said in awe. Cotton placed a small napkin in front of her, places a martini glass on it and then pours her drink in the glass. DiM thanks Cotton kindly then takes a sip out of her drink. "Oh, my god...! This is the best Watermelon Margarita I ever had..."
"Yeah, Cotton's a pro!" Jasmine said as DiM sipped on her drink. "There's so much you can do here, DiM! You can do missions, buy a small apartment, go to the hot springs and all sorts of stuff! Man I can't wait to show you around this place! A lot of our friends are here too!"
"R-Really? I really want to see what everyone's avatars look like!" DiM said excitedly.
"Sure, but first, we gotta make sure you at least practice with your weapon before going to the Starter Trail." Jasmine laughed as DiM finished her drink.
"Oh right!" DiM said. "T-Thank you for the lovely drink, C-Cotton!"
"Anytime deary! Good luck with your training!" Cotton said, waving.
"Thank you!" DiM shouted as she left the bar with Jasmine. Cotton's expression shifted a little.
"She's so shy and innocent... What's a girl like that doing in a game like this...?" Cotton thought. Jasmine and DiM went into the training area to practice her archery.
"Alrighty, let's see if you can hit these targets!" Jasmine said as the targets appear on the field. DiM aimed with her bow and arrow, released and hit the bullseye for all targets. "Whoa! DiM, you hit all the targets perfectly!"
"Wow! T-That was kinda fun!" DiM said.
"Well, let's make this a little harder!" Jasmine said as she resets the course and the targets were moving this time. DiM raises her bow and arrow, aims and hits every single target with ease. "WHAT THE HECK? DiM, where did you learn how to aim like that?!"
"Oh I play some archery games with Cam. So I kinda know how to shoot well." DiM said.
"Well why didn't you tell me that?" Jasmine said.
"Tehe! You never asked!" DiM giggled. "Plus I wanted to see if I was still any good."
"Well, you did an amazing job!" Jasmine giggled. "We should contact our friends and hang out at the bar!"
"Yay! I'm up for that!" DiM said. DiM happily follows Jasmine back to the bar where she contacted their friends to come over so they all can hang out. DiM had a wonderful time mingling with her friends and exploring the shops before she had to logout for the night. She had a feeling she was going to really like this game. Over the distance, a person cloak in black watched over Desire. A sharp-toothy grin formed between his lips.
"So many people playing my wonderful creation." The person said.
"Yes it's true Admin." A voice whispered.
"So many people..." The Admin murmured as his eye glow green. "But who... would make the perfect host...?"
"The host... Who is the host...?" The voice whispered again.
"Ah... we shall see who is really "pure" in this world." The Admin chuckled.
"Yes... in a matter of time... it will be revealed." The voice chuckled with him.
