After a moment of exchanging looks, Amy stood up and let the water drip off her back into the tub. Sonic lowered his ears and scooted back as she stepped out. Her clothes were soaked strait through now, clinging to her fur and skin. It made her so mad right now, but she resisted the urge to scream. She just glared down at the blue mess before her with a mix of sadness and contempt. Sonic looked down and sniffed. "You... gonna send me back to pet shop... right?" Amy closed her eyes and inhaled sharply. "No." she stated flatly and began removing her rings and gloves, "You are going to stay here, with us, learn to live like people do, and be a clean and healthy hedgehog like me." Sonic looked up in puzzlement as she dropped her gloves and wristbands to one side, then reached back as she lifted a leg up to pull off one of her socks to drop with them, then the other. She wiped the bangs out of her face and pulled something off the top of her head that Sonic hadn't noticed before, dropping it with everything else. Then she reached back behind her head and swept her hands upward, lifting her spines up like his own as she did. She sighed as she then reached for something on her back then stopped and looked down. Sonic was staring at her curiously, and she was contemplating taking her dress off in front of him? For a moment she entertained the thought of what exactly she was about to do and what it might lead to. Her face turned red and she lowered her hands... she'd just have to bear with wearing a wet dress for now. "Why you wear clothes?" ----- There was a knock at the door. "How's it going in there?" Eric's voice came from the other side. "Fine, just fine, heheheh..." Amy responded with a nervous chuckle, wiping a bit of the blue gunk off of her. Sonic folded his ears back. "I sorry, I not mean to make goo go like that." "No, it's okay," she said with a weak grin as she wiped her hand on the nearby rag, "I need to get out of this dress anyway." Outside Eric was staring at the door, his brain processing what he was hearing. "Uh..." Amy patted his head again and held her hand out. "Here, let me have it." Sonic looked back and held the bottle out to her. She took it and turned away again to squeeze some into her open palm, but for a moment nothing came out. Sonic watched as she began shaking the bottle a bit. "Did too much come out?" "No, I'm sure I can coax enough out with a bit of work." She kept jerking the bottle back and forth toward her hand until a small glob finally came out. It didn't seem like a lot to her at first, but with a good lather she could get it to go a long way. She set the bottle aside and rubbed the gel between her hands then stood up on her knees behind Sonic. She rubbed it into his spines and fur as well as she could, but Sonic kept trying to move his head away. "This feel strange." He grumbled. Amy grunted and pulled him back toward her so she could get a lather worked up easier. "I know, just give me a minute to get it all in." Sonic growled and tried to pull away again, splashing some water out of the tub as he did. "Don't like this." "Just hold still! Once this part is over then we'll be finished." On the other side of the door Eric had been just standing there and listening to their exchanges. Without context it sounded... not right in his mind. He lifted a hand to smack himself before opening the door to peek his head in. Amy stopped for a moment to glare up at him. "Oh, Shampoo!" Eric blurted out with a laugh, now realizing the innocence of the situation. Amy raised a brow at him questioningly. "Um, you okay?" He continued to laugh in embarasment as he pulled his head out of the doorway and slammed it shut behind him. "Sorry, carry on!" Sonic snorted and Amy shrugged.
