The move in. Kovress pushed the front door open with his foot, since his hands were occupied with a heavy box. After setting the box in a corner of the living room, the golden scaled dragon took his first tour around the house. He hadn't seen any pics of the inside of the house before hand, and didn't know what to expect for the layout. The house has a decent sized living room with a convenient closet next to the door. A large window spanned the front entrance wall for a view to the front yard. Perusing more of the first floor, Kovress found 2 nicely sized bedrooms, the bathroom, and the kitchen with a door to the backyard, as well as one to the basement. Most importantly, to the 3 friends, the kitchen was large and with a plethora of cupboards to store all their pots and pans, dishes, and the abundance of seasoning Racta wanted. The kitchen also housed a gas stove, dishwasher, large fridge, and still more space for a medium sized table. The size of the kitchen and surplus of cuboids was the most important to the 3 friends, because all three of them loved to eat a variety of different foods and flavors. Picky, is not a word in their dictionary. Kovress and Racta both love to cook, while Racta's the only one that's actually good at it. The bathroom is small, but there's a bathtub, of which their kobold friend loves to bathe. The toilet looked unusual to Kovress though, as there are buttons to the right side of the bowl. After pressing a few, to which nothing happened. "I guess this doesn't work? Or maybe it.., Gahaaa!" Kovress shouted and stood up so fast he nearly fell backwards into the tub. One of the buttons had caused water to squirt out at him, almost spraying his face. "So that's what a bidet looks like." Kovress had heard of what a bidet was and what it does, but never had seen a picture of one, or knew it had buttons. Instead of testing out the rest of the buttons, for safety purposes, Kovress kept up the tour. Despite the amount of rooms, the size of the rooms, and the couple of closets, the house was nicely compact. The basement looked obnoxiously large, in comparison to the rest of the house, with a slight damp smell to it. Aside for a basement door leading to the backyard, there was nothing else worth noting down there. The three friends barely had enough stuff to fill up all of the first floor, let alone this basement. Kovress surveyed the attic next, that would be where he slept. The attic turned out to be a little more spacious than either of the bedrooms, albeit shorter in height. It had 2 windows on opposite sides of the house, the ceiling sloped together to form a triangle, and there are 3 load bearing beams that stretched from the ceiling to the floor. Kovress was instantly pumped full of excitement upon noticing the supporting beams, "The first thing I need to buy is a hammock now!" He was also excited about the summer when it would get nice and toasty in the attic. Kovress could already tell it was warmer up there from the rest of the house. He loved the heat as much as he loved to read and eat some spicy peppers. So far, the only thing Kovress didn't care for was the paint job inside the house. A very bland tan on the walls with white paint on the trim and doors. Kovress loved vibrant colors and odd patterns, with a cheerily-bright lilac being his favorite shade of purple. Kovress had made his way back into the living room when Skand strode in with another box of stuff. "We have plenty of time to roam around when we're moving shit into different rooms. We have to get these boxes in here, the moving truck needs to be returned in 4 hours before they throw on another damn charge." The, "extra charge," caused an annoyed flick of Skand's' tail while setting the box down. "Then there's the furniture store with a couch on sale for $150 that Racta wants to pick up today too. I think that store closes at 6pm." Skand had grumpily reminded Kovress, then checked his watch, "Dang.. it's already 1:15pm. Should still have plenty of time though." Skand wasn't angry at Kovress, he just didn't handle large changes or unfamiliar surroundings very well without getting stressed out. If it wasn't for Skand's friends being with him, he may never have moved out of his old, run-down looking, little apartment. Throw a time limit on top of that, and Skand could be the grumpiest but fastest worker in the neighborhood when given something to do. "Where'd she find a couch for that price?" Kovress asked, as he headed back outside. "I forget the name of the store. Racta was searching on her phone for quite a while on the drive here, before something caught her eye." Skand had replied. Kovress heard the thumps of boxes and furniture being moved around while he made his way toward the moving truck. "What needs moved next?" Kovress asked. "Well," Racta grunted in reply, as she shoved one of Kovress's book shelves towards the back door. "We just need to get the bigger and heavier furniture pieces inside and Skand will get the boxes moved." Kovress is naturally strong for a dragon and Racta was stronger than normal for a Hyena, thanks to all the exercises she did. "The furniture would be moved pretty easily, as long as it fit through the front door." Racta had continued. It took all of two and a half hours to have the moving truck emptied and into the house. Most of the heavy furniture was placed in the rooms that they belonged in, except for what belonged upstairs. The only piece of furniture that didn't fit through the front door was the dining room table, but luckily the tables' legs could be easily removed and reattached. It was a good thing Skand had the foresight to take in his box of basic hand tools first. After clapping her hands together Racta spoke up, "OK, everything's inside and with still about an hour to spare. Let me use the bathroom then we can return the truck and go pick up the couch." "Alright." Kovress agreed, then spoke to Skand, "Anything else you need help with at the moment." Still looking stressed despite the fact that the time limit wasn't an issue, Skand scratched his head and looked around. "If you can find my stool, then I should have all I need. I'm going to move the boxes away from that front closet so you two can place the couch there when you get back. Then I will take the last of the clothes and other stuff from the trunk of my car." As Skand spoke, he began to hastily move all the boxes from the area he had just pointed out. Being only 4' 8" tall, Skand would need that stool to store or clean anything from high up in the house. "Stool's in the front closet!" Racta shouted from the bathroom. After retrieving the stool from the closet, Kovress placed it, then sat on it behind Skand. "Come here." Kovress said, as he grabbed and pulled Skand suddenly to his own chest, wrapping him in a hug. "Hey.." Skand began, but was interrupted by Kovress's "Shh..." Kovress lowered his head next to Skand's. After poking Skand's cheek with his snout, Kovress said "You stress yourself out over something new, too easily. Give it a couple of days of living here, you'll get used to things quickly. Here, let me do this." Kovress rubbed Skand's head in circles around his 6 horns. The front 2 horns on his head stuck out over half a foot long and pointed straight back. All the other horns on Skand's' head, and the few trailing down his back, were no more than 1 inch nubs. The areas around Skand's horns were sensitive enough to be ticklish, painful, soothing, or even provocative to the kobold, they always had been. Skand melted into Kovress's chest for the massage. Kovress could feel Skand's tail slowly swaying and bouncing off of his legs during the head rub. "Too bad your horns aren't just as sensitive." Racta said to Kovress with a smirk, once she left the bathroom. "Imagen the big, strong, dragon brought low by a simple head scratch. Come on, the sooner we leave then the sooner I can order some pizza when we come back" As Kovress stopped the massage and stood up, Skand had a shiver that traveled down his spine to the tip of his tail. "We'll be back, my spikey little kobold." Racta said teasingly, as she went in for a kiss that Skand returned. "I should have most of the boxes put in our rooms before you two get back." Skand said, with his grey face turning a shade of red from all of the attention. The kobold turned back to the packed boxes as Racta and Kovress left, feeling much more relaxed. The drive to drop off the truck was short, maybe 20 minutes at best with no traffic. Too bad that around 4-5pm on a work day, the traffic was terrible. Being able to find the stupid storage depot, behind all the taller stores in the area, made it take even longer. At least, with all the heavy traffic going on, both Kovress and Racta were able to take a good look at all the stores in the area. Several long strip-malls, coffee joints, fast food places, a movie theater, furniture stores, etc.. The three friends wouldn't be bored living around here, and they should be able to find all they needed for their house. Dropping off the moving truck was a quick and painless process. Hopping into Kovress's truck, Racta brushed away the long hair she always had covering up half of her face, and said, "Woo boy, that was a close call on the time. Dropping off the truck was easier than trying to rent one though. Alright, the couch is on the way back to the house. I think it's in the second strip mall area. The store's called..." Racta browses around her phone, "It's called, Beaver's Discount Furniture. Then we can order pizza on the way home." Traffic hadn't picked up its pace any faster on the way to the store, so Kovress and Racta had plenty of time to talk or jam out to the radio. After being wholly disappointed at the choices of music on the radio, Kovress asked "You haven't told me about the job you found up here yet. What did ya find?" "Well, I found a job that's close to home and in this area, within all this.." Racta waved her hand at the traffic in annoyance, "..mess. I start there tomorrow." Racta began, and continued with increasing energy. "There's a diner I'm going to be working at called the, Crisp Apple Diner. It's not some greasy little eating joint to work at. It's really nice looking both inside and out, a good family place. The manager took a phone call interview with me a week ago. After calling the bar I used to waitress at to, you know, to ask how I am at work, she decided to give me a try." "That's awesome" Kovress spoke up. "No, no. That's not the best part." Racta began again, "I'm going to be one of the cooks.. well.. a prep cook, but it's a start. You should see their menu. The diner is mostly known for their breakfasts, home-made apple juice/cider, and desserts. Most of the breakfasts either come with fruit on them, like the pancakes, waffles, crepes, and all that kind of stuff. Even if you get something else, like eggs and bacon, it comes with a small bowl of fruit with it. The fruit choices change every day, probably whatever's in season or on sale. All of their desserts have fruit as well. The most popular at the moment, seems to be the cheesecake with kiwi and honeydew on top followed by a caramel drizzle." The topic of desserts was interrupted by a loud stomach rumble from Racta. Kovress snorted and smirked, "Looks like I'm not the only one that's hungry, and you made it worse." "I can call the pizza place after we pick up the couch." Racta replied, then soon spotted the furniture store. "Look, a couple of blocks down. The sign with a beavers tail on it, that's the store." Kovress could see the sign but couldn't read what it said. "You sure that's not a stake place?" Racta gave out a couple barks of a trademark hyena laugh, a laugh rarely heard by anyone but her friends. Arriving at the furniture store, Racta pointed out the couch to Kovress, then went to the buyer's desk for the purchase and pickup. Flipping over the price tag for the couch, Kovress noticed it was marked down to $150 from $200. The couch is a 3-seater that's dull-grey with brown-striped patterning on it. Sitting down on the couch, it felt like it would be scratchy for someone without scales. The couch was comfier than it looked, and that's not really saying much. Kovress shrugged to himself. "Well... you get what you pay for, I guess. Just a place to sit is good enough right now." Racta said as she made her way back to Kovress and continued, "Let's pull the truck over to their loading doors and two of their movers will load it up for us." The couch fit into the back of Kovress's truck and was tied down snuggly for the drive home. As Kovress drove, Racta ordered the pizza. Arriving back at the house, Kovress untied the couch to be brought inside and Racta went to make sure space was made ready. "Hey Skand... dang." Racta began, "He really cleared out the living room. Hey Skand, we've got the couch! We're going to need the door taken off though!" She yelled in this time. "Alright, I'll be down!" Skand yelled right back. Heading back out to the truck, Kovress and Racta hefted the heavy couch up to the front door and waited for Skand and his tools. "The thing's heavier than it looks. Hopefully that means it's made well." Kovress commented. Skand came out with some tools and removed the front door. Even with the door taken off, both Kovress and Racta had trouble bringing the couch inside. The couch had to be turned sideways and the legs kept getting stuck on the door frame. "Man, that thing sure looks heavy." Skand commented in a sarcastic tone, with a smirk on his face. "Don't want to hear your shit!" Racta called out from inside. Finally settling the couch in the corner, Racta said she would go grab the foldable table from the basement. "You've gotten a lot taken care of. This room's almost empty." Kovress commented to Skand. "Mhmm," Skand began, "The beds were easy to slide to our rooms, except yours. I'm going to need help with that. About all of the boxes are taken to their respective rooms. Now all that needs moved is the heavy stuff. Do you mind if we keep one of your bookshelves down here, just to fill up some empty space?" "Sure thing. If that means even less stuff to move at the moment." Kovress agreed. "Help me move it next to the window, then." Skand said. While the dragon and kobold moved the bookshelf, Racta came back with a foldable table and set it up in front of the couch. "I think I'm going to put more comfortable clothes on for the rest of the day." Kovress said. "Good idea, I'm going to do the same." Racta agreed. "Racta, your clothes are next to your mattress. I haven't taken your clothes up yet Kov, they're next to the stairs though." Heading upstairs with his box, Kovress dug through it to find a comfy pair of light-blue pants with white stars on them and a white T-shirt. After taking off all of his work clothes, Kovress held and glanced at his necklace, the only piece of jewelry he owned. Kovress's grandmother had given him this necklace and he never removed it, not even in the shower. The chain is comprised of a thick copper wire to hang around Kovress's neck, intertwined around itself in the same fashion a rope would be wound. The copper chain rapped around the sides of, and guarded, a deep red jewel in the shape of a heart that hung down to Kovress's breast bone. The gem shone brilliantly, even in the poor lighting that Kovress's room had. Kovress had stared into the jewel before, had gotten lost even. So mesmerized by the shifting rays of light within that heart, that hours of time had passed. Letting the jewel dangle, Kovress stood and stretched, which caused his tail and the sail trailing down his head to shiver, and his wings to spread. Kovress's wings, along with every other dragon, would never work in the same fashion as a dragon in a fantasy book. Kovress's wings are so small that there's no possible way he could ever fly, despite being able to weakly flap them. The wings were nothing more than mere decoration, that could be folded so smoothly that you wouldn't notice them under a T-shirt. Kovress surveyed himself in a mirror leaning against a wall. All the flaps of skin in both his sail and wings are light-blue in color. Kovress's nails, his soft underbelly/undertail, and scales right above his eyes are a darker steel-blue. The horns on Kovress's head matched the curled shape of a rams horns, that were of a brighter gold than his scales with flecks of white throughout. As Kovress dressed again, he had to struggle with the T-shirt. No matter how many times Kovress put on or took off a shirt, it always got stuck on one of his horns. The doorbell rang signaling the pizza had arrived. "I got it!" Skand shouted, as both Racta and Kovress hadn't finished changing yet. Kovress made his way down stairs and saw Racta had already grabbed a slice, but Skand had yet too. "Not hungry yet?" Kovress asked Skand. "I am, I just want to finish organizing the last of your books in this bookcase first. You already had them alphabetized in the boxes, so it shouldn't take me long" Skand replied. Kovress sat himself to the left side of Racta on the couch and grabbed a slice of pizza for himself. Kovress was half way through his first slice when Racta nudged him and gestured over to Skand. Skand was bent over sorting the last two shelves of books, with his tail-tip pointing slightly into the air. Both Racta and Kovress were able to appreciate Skand's soft butt and legs in his tight-fitting cargo shorts. Skand doesn't exercise much and prefers to spend hours at his hobby of transforming wood into sculptures at his desk. All that sitting left Skand with a soft looking set of legs and cheeks. As Skand bent back over to place more books, Racta let out a whistle of appreciation. Skand curled his tail higher to show off its softer white underside and swayed his hips for a small show, before squatting down to finish the last row of books. That was surprising to both Kovress and Racta, as Skand is usually much more shy about flaunting his body. "Showing off are we? Looks like someone is becoming more comfortable around us. Although there's no need to be shy, both Kov and I know how soft that scaly body can be." Racta said in a silky tone, teasing Skand enough for a deep red blush to bleed through his grey scales. Skand's reply was to sit on the floor instead and say nothing while concentrating on his work. Racta felt as if she'd teased Skand too much, as it was surprisingly uncomfortable waiting for Skand to finish and come eat. Racta knew she was right as she watched Skand and his tail never move, not even a tiny twitch. When Skand worked on any task that didn't require much thought for it, his tail tip would flick up and down rhythmically. The specifically blank look on Skand's face when he was done sorting, confirmed it for Racta. Racta pulled apart a slice of pizza for Skand and patted the couch, on her right, to come eat. Racta pulled Skand in close to her as he sat and took a bite and said, "I'm sorry Skand, I didn't mean to upset you. I was just trying to make you feel sexy instead of used." Kovress grabbed another slice of pizza, and after a pat on Skand's shoulder as a sign agreement, began to leave and said, "I'm going to go unpack upstairs. Let me know if you guys need anything." No other words were spoken as Skand leaned into Racta while Kovress left. Racta did know what was going through Skand's mind. Skand has been through a scarring relationship, involving 2 others, in the past. If Skand had been teased in such a manner by either Racta or Kovress, alone, he would've felt attractive and even continued the tease as well. With both of them in the room as such, he felt more used and whorish, rather than being intimate with the others persons passions. Skand and Racta sat in silence as he slowly ate and she rubbed his head and held his hand. Skand even went to eat a second slice, despite not being very hungry, just to be with Racta longer. Once Skand finished eating, he kissed Racta on the cheek and rubbed his snout into the bristly fur on her neck and said, "Go put your room together and unpack instead of doing it later tonight. I'm sure you have to get up early being a new prep-cook and all. I'm going to finish setting up my bedroom as well, I'm almost done." As Skand finished speaking, he grazed Racta's neck with his teeth, the way she loved to be teased. Racta knew Skand forgave her now. As Skand started to walk away, Racta tickled the underside of his tail, which caused three rapid tail twitches. Some time had passed when Kovress stored away the last of his books on another bookshelf in his room, then double checked to make sure everything was in order. Bed's all setup for tonight, clothes were put away, the clothes he couldn't hang up are lain across the dresser, and his desk was all setup as well. He'd have to wipe down the walls, but that's for another day, maybe tomorrow. Kovress tended to procrastinate when it came to himself. "Time to clean up the kitchen and sort all the crap that belongs in the cupboards, I guess." After heading down stairs, Kovress knocked on Skand's door and asked, "Do you need any help moving your dresser or desk?" "I'm good, all I need to door is sort out my desk then I'm done. Ty though." Skand called out through the door. "Alright. I'm going to clean up in the kitchen then." Kovress said, followed by Racta flinging her bedroom door open and stating, "I'm going to help you with that too. I hate putting away clothes anyhow." Skand continued with sorting out all of his tools for wood sculpting, when his stomach clenched in pain again. Skand's lactose intolerance was acting up again from the pizza. After a bit of pain and rubbing his stomach, Skand sorted out the small hammers, chisels, knives, chunks of wood, and other tool he used for carving. Throughout the sorting, Skand's stomach gurgled and bubbled, and his need to fart increased with every gurgling. "Oooh man. I shouldn't have eaten that second slice. That's going to come back to haunt me." Skand thought as he concentrated on keeping his gas in check. Skand knew that the longer he could hold the fart in, the louder and longer it had tended to be. For as shy as Skand is to feel sexy, he sure as hell didn't mind being gross in front of his friends. As Skand looked around, making sure his desk was perfectly organized, he was hit with a large wave of pressure in both his stomach and rear. Skand rubbed his belly and fidgeted on his feet, taking breathes and trying not to move, as the wave passed. Skand let out a sigh as the pressure abated and went to set up the tv, DVD player, Kovress's game station, and Racta's speakers in the living room. The table for the television had wheels but it was awkward to move as it's a low height and heavy. Skand would have to push hard to move it across the carpet. The concentration to push the table and not let any gas escape, forced the gray kobold to stop and struggle to hold himself together. Another wave of pressure assaulted Skand's rear and he felt like an inflated balloon. Aside for the sound of Racta humming a song to herself, it had been quiet in the house for a while. As Skand leaned forward and shifted on his feet, he decided to "let her rip" before the pressure became too much and more than just gas would fly out. A thunderous, 7 second long, fart blasted out of Skand's behind sounding like an over-inflated whoopie cushion. Once all of that pressure had been released, Skand felt like he'd been deflated. After the loud fart, Racta burst out with a high-pitched hyena cackle and laughed to the point of barely being able to breathe. Kovress, on the other hand, had been daydreaming and was promptly scared out of it, then began laughing with Racta. Skand was quite proud of how loud that one was and ended up laughing as well. Skand was a little disappointed that the blast was all sound and no substance. Feeling much better, Skand pushed the table into place next to the bookshelf and placed all of the devices on it. Thankfully the television is small, and he wouldn't need to ask for help carrying it. As Skand setup all four of the speakers in the corners of the living room, and ran the wires back to the tv, his stomach continued to gurgle and bubble. The need to fart constantly arose and Skand casually left them go with soft, pfft, sounds. The gas was so much quieter and dry feeling compared to the first one. As Skand continued with tacking the wires over door jams and next to the walls, his gas became steadily louder and rank smelling. With everything in place, the last thing Skand had to do was plug all the wires into the power strip under the table. As Skand crawled under and began working on the wires, he grew steadily irritated, "How the hell did all the wires entangle themselves already? I just put them here.." Skand mumbled. The wires said nothing to answer the question, but it seemed like Skand's stomach sure wanted to. Skand felt a bloated pressure traveling through his gut, then disappear, followed by a deep growling. The fart that was released sounded like someone slowly opening a zipper, followed by a grotesque waft. "Oh my god." Skand commented, then smirked, pleased at himself. Wires plugged in, Skand crawled out and began the search for the television remote through the last four boxes in the Livingroom. A second movement traveled through Skand's stomach, this one with a sharp pain that caused Skand to bend forward and hold his stomach. The pain was short lived, and it left with a bubbling feeling trailed closely by a deep growl. While searching the boxes, the pressure hit Skand's rear again and he released it without a thought. The sound of Skand's next blast was like a smaller, damp, whoopee cushion. Skand's face fell as his stomach continued to gurgle and the feeling of needing to use the bathroom was making itself known, but Skand was so close to being done with this setup that he tried to ignore it. Skand has always had the habit to ignore the feeling of needing the bathroom until whatever he was working on was finished, or he couldn't wait any longer. The need to fart rose again during the search, but Skand was worried that more than gas would escape, so he held it. "Where the hell is it? Come on.. come on..." Skand grumbled, while opening the third, then fourth box. Skand couldn't help to move his legs around as his needs made themselves more apparent during the search. The fact that the boxes Skand was looking through had so much bullshit in them, or that the remote was in the last box, hadn't help him at all. After finding the remote, Skand felt a sharp jab at his behind and decided to risk it. The fart that followed the pained jab was damp and Skand didn't like the fact it sounded bubbly, he decided not to risk that again and clenched tighter. Skand rubbed his poor stomach as the gurgles never left and neither did the feeling to fart. Control in hand, Skand hit the power button to make sure something worked and.... nothing happened. "Oh come on..." Skand complained, as he had to noticeably shift around on his feet. "Just put batteries in this thing. Mabey it's the.. ooooo..," Skand groaned, "the power strips may not be switched on." The bubbling sensation had disappeared and the pressure to fart doubled, as did the feeling it would be wet. Skand kneeled to look under the table and he was right, the power strip switch light was dim. Skand looked to the bathroom as his tail tucked between his legs, "No, I'm almost done, then I can go." Taking a deep breath, Skand clenched hard, climbed back underneath the table, and flicked the power switch. Skand smiled as he heard the fan for Kovress's game station powering up and began to crawl back out. All that extra pressure on his stomach caused the need to fart spike and two decidedly moist, short, belches blasted out, causing Skand's hand to clamp over his own anus in panic and gasp, "Ahh. Ahhh...," trying to hold himself closed. Dangerous moments of shifting and clenching, of which Skand couldn't move without losing the battle, he heard Racta talking to Kovress, "All dairy affects Skand the exact same way, you'd think he'd know better by now. No, you stay in here and don't bother him. You have no idea the mess Skand causes when he doesn't make it after eating pizza." After grunting and shaking, the pressure abated. Skand waisted no more time, got on his feet and sprinted to the bathroom door with his hand still between his cheeks. The door was stuck so Skand shouldered it open and slammed the door back, not even bothering to make sure it was closed. Standing in front of the toilet, knees locked together, and tail lifted ready to blow, nothing was helping Skand's struggling anus stay closed. "So close, so close.." Skand's hands were trembling so much that the simple knot for his shorts seemed to elude him. Skand's eyes widened in panic as he felt his tired anus start to give in. An ugly sounding, blurt, escaped from Skand and he cried to himself, "I'm right here... I can still make it.." The tide about to escape, roaring, into Skand's clothes when his shorts and underwear dropped to the ground, and he slammed his white scaled ass on that toilet. The moment the kobold's behind hit the seat, the toilet bowl resounded with several, splattery-wet, gunshot farts. All of Skand's pent-up shit soon quickly poured out of him like gloppy mud, not much effort was needed to help empty himself. Skand shivered from the feeling of finally relaxing and his body emptying. Skand flushed, then noticed all of the buttons on the toilet. Unlike Kovress or Racta, Skand never heard of a bidet, and began to push buttons to see what happens. Nothing happened until, again, the water stream button was pressed. "AHHH...mmmnnn..." Skand yelped, as he was shocked by the sudden stream of cold water, then moaned softly as the water pleasantly massaged his tired anus. "Holy hell, that feels wonderful." Skand purred to himself. Both Racta and Kovress were almost done with putting away all of the dishes when Racta heard Skand's yelp of surprise. "Sounds like someone else found out what a bidet does." Racta said to tease Kovress. An extra flush later and Skand quickly exits the bathroom shutting the door behind him, proudly saying "I feel 10 pounds lighter. Mabey I should eat pizza more often, granted I'm going to be home all day." Racta, who was closest to the hallway, waved her nose and back away complaining, "Good fuckin lord Skand. What did you do, birth a 10 pound demon? We're going to need a priest." "Or a new house." Kovress chimed in. It soon became late into the night with everyone finishing basic chores and the vast majority of boxes unpacked and stored away. Skand finished programming the television and sound systems, the kitchen was cleaned and all dishes/pot and pans stored away, and even Racta finished putting her clothes away. Of which Racta kept grumbling until Kovress kept her company and helped hang up shirts. Let to her own devices, Racta was happy enough with a pile of clothes in a corner. It was a little past 10pm when the three friends relaxed on the couch to some tv. The past 3 days' worth of stress from getting all the paper work, packing, and time scheduling, caught up to all of them in their relaxation in the form of needed sleep. Skand was especially tired as he'd already fallen asleep and drool was trailing down his chin. Racta noticed the time and startled Kovress, who was starting to nod off, to say, "Ah shit, it's almost 10:30pm. I need to be at work by 6:30am for prep work." Racta tried pushing Skand to wake him up, to no avail, and asked Kovress, "Hey Kov, can you take Skand to his room? I'm going to go nod off." "Yeah, sure." Kovress groggily agreed. Picking up and moving Skand, Kovress laid Skand onto his bed, taking care that none of Skand's horns impaled his pillow, and pulled the covers over his friend. After shutting the door to Skand's room, Kovress knocked on Racta's door to see if she needed anything. "Can you get the coffee pot ready, so I just have to hit the start button in the morning?" Racta asked. "Sure thing," Kovress agreed, and followed up with, "Good night Racta, hope prep-work is as exciting as you hope it to be." "Thank you. Have a good night yourself." Racta said, as she flopped herself into bed, not even bothering to pull any covers over herself. Racta slept in the nude and, despite all of her short fur, woke up later to gripe about being chilled, then would pull the covers over herself. Kovress rinsed out the coffee pot, filled the reservoir with water, and dumped in the only coffee they had. "If the dark roast doesn't wake her up, nothing else will." Kovress muttered. Climbing the stairs to his own room, Kovress stripped everything but his underwear and necklace.
