I experimented with drawing cherry blossom trees, using 5 seperate layers for the leaves. The umbrellas were a pain. I had to do the center cone first then draw the spokes spreading out. Then I had to use blur tool to bend the spokes slightly up so it doesn't seem so flat. As for the shade/light, I used the Soft Light (SVG) layer in Krita, I think it looks brighter.\n\nBut yeah this was really fun. The characters were supposed to be showing their bikinis in this, but I wasn't sure how to make it work with the kimonos. I tried making translucent kimonos, but that just looked weird.
