"I miss you so much, Alnia. It isn't fair what happened to you. Why couldn't we meet just one final time? I need you so much." Laius thought loudly emotionally, pausing after every pause to sniff. Laius laid dormant in his room, chest cold, aching, and his head 
ringing in pain. Only occasionally looking up to the ceiling he would only slightly turn his body over to face the photo of his wife. He hasn't eaten today and doesn't feel the hunger at all, only the gut wrenching feeling of sadness and grief was present. It's 
been like this for the whole year, he keeps rubbing his eyes and covers them with his hands to block out the light. This is also to fight and block the memories and thoughts at bay in a desperate attempt at some proper silence. A knock on his door alerted him to 
sit up in his bed, his son standing in front of him.
"Dad, it's 7." His concerned son looking at him with his gorgeous eyes, it always brings a tear to Laius.  
"I see. Thank you son." He staggers out of bed slowly, placing his feet to the cold floor and sat on the side of the bed. "I'll order some cheap fast food in a bit, Apius. I just need some time." His words were tired, dry, a little raspy. Apius walked on over and sat next to his Dad, hugging him. Laius just stared forward, trying to wake up. Feeling his son's warmth gave him some life inside. Laius sighed and wrapped his left arm around his son. Apius feeling like he's out of ideas to get his Dad moving and trying to help his Dad always felt like hell. He didn't know what to do and has often cried when his Dad doesn't respond. This always scared Apius, seeing his Dad one day completely motionless. Dead.
"What are you feeling for dinner?" Said Laius tiredly.
"Caetia and I were thinking about human style fish and chips." Apius looks up at his Dad. Laius gazed back forcing a warm smile at his son.
"Oh yeah. I remember wanting to try that. Can you get the number for me? I'll order up a family meal." Apius grabbed something out of his pocket and passed it to his Dad. 
"I already got it. That way we can choose together!" Apius smiling excitedly. Laius embraced his Son's head in response, breathing deeply. Laius at times forgets how young his son is, because how often Apius looks after him.

The two ordered food together with some trouble. Caetia would yell across the house what she wanted, Apius would change his mind a lot and Laius having trouble to choose anything. But when the food came knocking on their front door it didn't matter what he ordered, Laius was just relieved the food even came and that his children can eat. His kids were always curious about human style food, from snacks to large meals of food. For such small Turians they loved to eat, Laius for being a fully grown Turian only ate all he could muster. He really didn't feel that hungry but ate because his kids were. Every moment he was with his kids made him smile, no matter how much his heart and body ached he always felt alive with the two of his kids. Caetia was always energetic, enthusiastic and playing games. Most of all she looked up to her big brother and wants to be him. Everything he did she wanted to do as well, everything he owned she wanted to own. Apius enjoyed sharing with his little sister, he was patient and caring. The two of them would rarely fight, and would only end with loud words. No shrieking, hitting, crying occurred between the two. Their bond always amazed Laius and his wife Alnia, it was something so odd when every other family ever had sibling rivalries or vindictive kids. The door buzzed as visitors had arrived getting Laius to open it to be greeted by three turians. One brown, one gray and one blue.
"Fidius, Laverna and Crius!" Laius exclaimed. Fidius was a brown turian in a military outfit. Laverna was a brown turian and she had a science officer outfit. Crius the blue turian wore a yellow jacket with engineering equipment stored in his many pockets. "It's great to see you three." The three waved with smiles, each greeting after another while entering Laius's home. "What are you guys up to these days?" Laius asked while gesturing them to the dining table. 
"We thought to check on you and the kids. We finally got time to see you three and we brought something." Crius took playing cards out of one of his many pockets. "Just like the old times." Crius smiled to Laius in a welcoming manner.
"Hey you two," Fidius waved to Caetia and Apius. "You kids looking after your Dad?"
"Yeah! We just had dinner!" Caetia grinned widely jumping up and down on her chair. "Want to play video games?"
"Sorry kiddo we are going to play adult cards. You know what that means." Fidius grinned up at Laius. Laius now knew what kind of cards these were.
"That's ok!" Caetia enthusiastically said hopping off her chair. "Api' and I are going to play a two player then, right?" Apius nodded, finishing his drink and the two scurried off to another room. The four adult turians sat down around the table with Fidius chuckling shaking his head in amazement.
"My god that girl is excitable. Such a sweet girl." Laverna said as she watched the young girl run off. She looked back to the guys and rested her head on her hand against the table.
"Yeah I have to say Laius. You really do have great kids." Crius chimed in. Laius tiredly smiled and nodded. Crius took the cards out of the pack and started shuffling. On the back of each card had a naked, splaying turian on it. Some had two or three on them, varying of both male and female. 
"So why the sex cards?" Laius looked down at one of the cards, a male turian parting his anus while licking his fingers. It was well known to him that three of them were open with sexual activities, objects and ideas. He didn't know exactly what but he was told of their king club.
"Well of course we gotta bring these babies out. Nothing better than gambling freely with sex cards." Crius laughed. "Besides this set is new. Maybe you'll find something you'd like!"

As the four played on with the three chatting about their days laughing and yelling with each new topic. Laius couldn't help but feel distant, tired, bored. He also couldn't help but feel like the three were staring at him a bit too much. He always appreciated them, particularly when they were the only ones who actually cared and came to him when his wife died. But right now he didn't feel anything, and felt he felt inside that they were hiding something from him.
"So there I was checking all the security feeds and data banks and I learned something interesting." Crius looked over to Laius with a smile, it filled Laius with dread but he didn't know why. "I gotta say Laius, your search history is interesting."
"What?!" Laius's heart skipped a beat and he began to panic. All I could hear in his head was frantic yelling of disbelief and crying in fear.
"Hey Laius!" Crius put his hand on Laius's shoulder which made Laius jump and push him away. He stood in front of them, breaking down in fear and tears. "Laius it's all good! We won't tell anyone."
"I don't care! Why- How? Why would you search up on me!?" Laius was glad his kids were in the other room with the TV on loud, but he still knew they could potentially hear him.
"We were concerned!" Laverna added swiftly to the conversation, standing up and approaching Laius. She grabbed his arm gently and guided him back to his seat with him crying into his hands. "We were very concerned about you, you and Alnia were a big part of our school lives. We never stopped thinking about you after she died. So when we noticed you never left home or barely moved we were surprised when you suddenly got hooked to your Personal Computer  Pad. We-"
"I can't handle this! Not life. I don't want to die or go to prison!" Laius interrupted still in shock.
"If we wanted to do that you'd be put in there already. Geeze Laius relax. We're *interested* in this. Chill" Fidius perked up with a grin. Laius's fear turned to confusion but he had calmed down a bit since hearing what Fidius said.
"I don't understand."
"We have our own nasty kinks Laius, what you are looking up doesn't really phase us." Fidius added.
"Whatever you are into it ISN'T the same!" Laius couldn't feel anything in his hands as he completely forgot he held some of Crius's cards.
"Of course not, what you were looking up is pretty something else. But we don't see you as a freak."
"Laius relax!" Crius reached out to Laius and grabbed his hand. "Please let go of my cards." Laius let go of them immediately, covered his eyes with his hands and just sat at the table in silence. Crius picked up his scrunched up cards and sighed.
"Anyway Laius. I am for one am curious. Why have you been? I've always known you to be rather vanilla or boring when it came to kinks." Laius looked up and took a deep breath. His chest so heavy with grief and embarrassment.
"I've just been so lonely you guys. I don't feel anything unless I'm with my kids. One night they slept with me to keep me company and-" Laius hesitated, took another breath and continued. "And I just had this feeling. A need. I needed my kids more than just emotional support, more than a father necessity to look after his kids. I don't know when it really started but it just happened one night. I didn't do anything because I love them so much. But then I just got so curious and I haven't felt any pleasure in so long that I just looked into it all. I- I- I just snuck past the security overlord sector to avoid overall monitoring of what I was looking at and once I started looking at them I just couldn't stop. My god the poor kids." Laverna grinned as Laius poured his heart out, slightly rubbing her pelvis area. Fidius stared intensely with Crius calmly smiling alongside as Laius spoke.

Laius explained more in detail of his adventures on the net, occasionally crying and choking on his words. When he was done talking the three friends all put one hand in the center of the table.
"Hey, let it be known to you that we aren't good people. I for one enjoy getting too rough with some randos, and as well with Laverna and Crius. I also acquire equipment that goes missing at my workplace." Fidius perked up the mood with a grin.
"And let me tell you he really doesn't hold back. I once bled from him ramming me and when he noticed the blood he got rougher. That fucking hurt like nobody's business." Crius then glared at Fidius to which brought the two of them to laughter. "Oh yeah, I'm interested in a lot of things. Hard to really specify when my mood switches around. Let's just say I like just love kinks as a whole. Got these two into bondage for instance."
"I love to spend time with the specimens that my teams get a hold on. They so exotic that I love to stick just about anything into them. I also really, really love anal. Giving and taking. Last I remember you were similar?" Laverna referring to Laius.

Laius didn't know how to feel. Relieved but still on edge from before. He took one deep breath and joined with his hand to the center. "We are glad you are with us. May we all explore and share our sexuality." Laverna gave a calculated stare to the other three, nodding for each of them to join.
"What does that mean for me though?" Laius couldn't help but feel uncertain, worried about what was happening. 
"That's simple Laius. We all get to play with our interests and frankly keeps us all sane during the mundane work filled months. I can speak for us that we believe you should live out your dreams." Fidius grabbed and shook Laius's hand firmly. Laius didn't respond but merely stared back unsure how to answer back. "Dammit Laius we mean that you should love your children like you've seen. Like far-out you need to live. If having sex with your kids make you happy then that's good!"
"of course you should be sensitive to their needs. They're not meat, unlike what Fidius phrased it like." Crius jumped in with snide towards Fidius.
"Fuck you."
"Later brownie."
"But like seriously. We think if you have sex with your kids it will do you good. Maybe they'll like it?"
"Highly unlikely you boofhead. Real talk here Laius, but I can evaluate that jumping in your kid's bed and fucking them is a terrible idea from the get go. I certainly know you aren't the type to just do that either." Laverna coldly glared at Fidius and looked back to Laius. "It would be very beneficial to you yes but you should make smart and safe steps."
"Like what, Laverna?" Laius timidly replied.
"Well one good step is to get them to experience their body and yours in a safe enviroment without any actions towards your goal. Have nude hours, nude days. Play video games nude together, watch movies nude together. Shower together, sleep together. You know, common sense."
"Well fuck you too, Laverna." Mocked Fidius. "And yeah I know, later on."
"Good boy." Laius thought about what Laverna said, he honestly would enjoy being naked with his naked kids without actually doing anything. But he was afraid to become erect around them.
"What if I got hard around them?"
"Then say that's a normal biological function for you to have as an adult. Perfectly normal and nothing to worry about." Laius nodded and sheepishly smiled.
"I think.. I'll do that then. Someday, maybe I can do something special. But I'm not even sure if I want to. I don't want to hurt them."
"Just try to not lose control when it does happen. I'd imagine that they would be crying if you did." Crius started to sort his cards back into his deck.
"Like you can talk, buddy!" Fidius smacked Crius on his back, causing the cards he was sorting to be knocked to the floor.

"We're going to bed, Dad." Apius walked into the room and noticed all the cards on the floor. He could see turians in strange poses without their clothes, without thinking he picked up a few cards. Laius looked up to the digital clock, it was indeed their bed time. That meant it was time for Laius's friends to leave as well. He then realised Apius held some of Crius's dirty cards and in a parental panic he acted.
"Apius! Pass me those cards. Uncle Crius needs to pack them up and get going soon." Apius handed them over to Crius and stood beside his Dad. The three turians got up with Crius packing his cards away swiftly into his pocket. The three left waving and shouting goodbye to Apius, Laius and Caetia closing the door behind them. Each of them sighed and chatted along about their meeting with Laius. Laius sat in his chair at the table with Apius tugging on his arm.
"Come on, Dad. Caetia needs her bedtime story." Laius smiled sweetly, feeling some warmth in his chest. He turned to Apius and nodded.
"I gotta do that. Wouldn't want to miss out on doing something for her. Anything you want before bed?"
"A kiss and a hug please." Laius embraced his son, breathing deeply of his son's scent. Apius hugged his Dad tightly, enjoying the warmth his Dad gave.
