Aulus arrived at work with a hundred turian typing and doing desk work. He sighed and swallowed and kept walking in to his new boss, to whom was talking on her telecommunications device. Every employee looked like they've done this most of their life, but that was because to Aulus he hadn't really done this all too often. This place was daunting to him, some of the other turians looked at him but it made him uncomfortable. As he approached his boss she snapped her head towards him and pulling out a data form for him to sign. "You're late, you've lost 10% of your credit payout. Your desk is #25,411. Get to it." Aulus nodded with a gut wrenching feeling inside. He walked to an elevator to read the 25th floor as each floor held 1000 workers, there was 2 other turians inside the elevator. One around his age who looked at him in a sneer and the other one was pretty old who tried to pay no attention to him. "Welcome to shit corp, new blood. You stand out like a Krogan in a bikini." The young one messed with Aulus, Aulus smiled back trying to not show that it was bothering him. "Why do you say that?" "Fuck you ARE a guy. Hard to tell with your hips buddy." "Oh? Does that turn you on?" "I'd rather piss up in my face." The turian laughed, "Look buddy all *I'm* saying is beware, someone might mistake you for a pushover wimp." "You have an interesting fetish, you often get peed on?" The older turian chuckled at Aulus's response causing the other turian to strike Aulus across the face, Aulus flinched and stumbled back causing the turian to smile in satisfaction. "AND you can't take a hit. Why are you even here?" "Because he got a job just like you, Serlus. Dipshit." The older one spoke for the first time, he took a swing from a flask he had in his chest pocket before putting it back. He was an obvious alcoholic if Aulus has ever seen. Serlus faced the older turian before facing Aulus once more with a 'eat shit' expression across his face at Aulus. "Let's shake and forget about this?" Aulus felt like refusing with his jaw still sore from the sucker punch, but he wanted to seem strong. So he ignored the pain and shook hands with this Serlus guy. "Atta boy!" The floor was finally reached for Aulus to leave leaving the other two still going up. Aulus rubbed his jaw feeling defeated and miserable as he walked down the corridor. Now he was trying to find his isle which was split per 100, the tapping sounds of electronic pads and holographic keyboards was more noticeable since he was walking past them. He found is isle of 400 and thankfully didn't take long to find his desk of 25,411. He sat down and hooked in his omni-tool to log on, folders filled with files now waiting for him to sort through. The day flew away from him as the the time to stop work and leave for home hit him, 8 hours had passed. He had to check the time twice, he was more tired than he thought he was. He hardly remembers going to the toilet, eating lunch and answering calls at all. He wasted no time to leave. He felt very fortunate that on his way out no one talked to him. As he walked back to the residential quarters of the station all he could think of was to lie down and fall asleep. As he got into the last elevator he suddenly thought about that one nice turian. Laius, he remembered that name and how sad he looked. Although his body felt tired his mind was eager to socialize, after all that turian was the nicest of the neighbours he met. But he didn't know him, maybe he's like the rest? All he could do was hope. As the elevator reached another floor the other turian left it with only one entering. To Aulus's surprise it was Laius, of all people. "Oh hello! Laius isn't it?" Aulus perked up, Laius looked startled at first to only nod back with a slight smile. "Hey, it's uh... Aulus right?" He sounded tired and depressed to Aulus. "Yeah! Sorry about blurting out I'm just glad to see you." Laius looked confused but not shying away. "Why's that?" "Cause you were nice enough to greet me back." Aulus leaned against the elevator wall, "All the other neighbours told me I was weird, a freak or straight up told me to fuck off. All I did was knock on their door to say hi." Laius looked like he wanted to say something but Aulus followed up, "I know we turians just... don't. I was just hoping to find a friend." "It is hard to find friends these days. Especially when you know no one." "Yeah. So I'm glad you were nice enough. How are you btw?" Laius didn't respond immediately, looking like he wanted to retract himself and looking as tired as he was before. "I'm fine, just another day." Aulus nodded back with a smile. "I just finished work, I'm so so glad I'm going home." "Terrible time?" "Yeah. My obligatory job as well." Laius's eyes perked up a little, showing interest. "What did you do to get that?" "Refusing to work, basically. I hate the job choices we have. I don't want to be a guard, a soldier, a store clerk or a desk slave. It's not beneath me but I just hate it so, I wish I could get an unusual job." Aulus sighed, he suddenly felt anxious about what he was saying. To turians their life is their job and pretty much the highest of majority do it. Aulus however hated how limited and conservative the jobs and professions were, always feeling the societal hierarchy was fucked. "I understand, frankly I can relate. Even though in training I was good at piloting I absolutely hated to do mandatory training. I had a rough time too, so my sympathies." Aulus looked at Laius with such reassurance, just the notion that someone else gets his feelings. The elevator had reached their floor. They left it as more piled in to go wherever they needed to, Aulus and Laius walked side by side as they headed towards home. "What's your job, if it's alright to ask?" "I er. Don't have one." "Wow. So what do you do?" Laius hesitated feeling uncomfortable, something Aulus picked up upon. "I don't mean to pry I'm sorry. I work at the Beta Telecom Agency, a desk slave." "Ahh, the BTA. But no I don't have a job and I don't really do anything." "I envy you as I really don't want to work. I've already been punched and already lost 10% of my credits for being a few minutes late. The work is fucking mindless dribble with souldraining boredom. But I have to do it cause it's mandatory AND obligatory." Aulus stretched with a bit of a groan. "That sounds like hell." "It honestly is. I should have just stuck being on guard duty, at least I got to stand around all day without infinitely typing. That said, that was over at the Omega and I couldn't make a friend. Like my job here is freaking garbage but I'm glad I got to meet you." Aulus smiled looking to Laius. They neared Aulus's room, of which was closer walking distance, before Aulus stopping to face Laius. "Hey. Want to come inside for a cup of coffee?" "Sorry I don't like coffee." "That's ok! I got other kinds of drinks if you want them." Laius looked thoughtfully at Aulus before nodding back. "Alright, if it's ok." "It's more than ok!" Aulus opened his door and walked right in with Laius following behind. "You can sit anywhere you'd like, I just need to put my crap away and go to the fridge. What would you like?" "Do you have anything carbonated?" "Sure do! Energy or cola?" "Energy if that's alright." Laius walked and sat down in the living room. It was cleaner than Laius's living room but it was dauntingly quiet. There wasn't much in the living room but Laius figured that was because Aulus was still new to the residence. There was only one lounge and a coffee table in front of it, as well as a TV that was newer and larger than Laius's. Not too long after Aulus came into the room with two drinks. "Here you go, I don't generally have these but I picked it up one day thinking I might need it. Turns out no amount of caffeine will help me when I'm at work." Laius grabbed it with gratitude and drunk a little. "Thank you. Before you said you were punched?" "Oh! Yeah, some dick punched me as I was getting to my floor to do work. I don't know what his deal was and frankly I don't want to know. Like I also mentioned I lost 10% just for being late. I was only a few minutes late! I've never been late in any of the 7 jobs I had prior." "Wow. Really 7?" "Yes 7." Aulus sighed, "I had 2 jobs serving as a soldier, one at Delta Qusisian on a Neptunian station and the other was a base on Mars called Atlnan which sucked. The guard job was on Omega like I mentioned and this is desk slave job number 4, I can't really remember the other company names I've worked under." Aulus took a drink of his beverage and leaned back into the seat, he felt bad for opening up so much. He felt so desperate to connect, to feel loved and be loved. His heartbeat got heavy, especially with Laius's caring expression looking at him. "I'm sorry to hear it's been so difficult for you. I personally didn't have that much trouble but I still hated everything I did." "Yep. Boring, painful and depressing times really." He looked at Laius warmly, it felt so damn good to talk to someone who cared. "I've had plenty of days where you felt that and just, well. Wanting to hurt yourself or just hide away from everyone, I mean for me that was the case. I'm just lucky I had good friends and my wife." Aulus's heart dropped instantly, Laius is married...? "Oh... I didn't know you had a wife." He felt so crushed, the one nice turian with a heart and he was married. Why were all the good ones taken? "I'm a widower." Laius looked away, the mood getting even heavier. Now Aulus felt horrible, he was slowly hitting on this sad turian who probably was grieving for his wife. He felt even more stupid now, he had to apologize. "I'm so sorry, I didn't know. Oh god I'm sorry about all this." "It's alright, you didn't know. I should have told you, I was going to tell you and I'm sorry about that." Aulus touched Laius's shoulder in a hopes to comfort him. Laius didn't look at him immediately, not because he caught onto Aulus softly hitting on him but more because of what happened earlier. He was out of his home because Crius and Fidius had a day off, they came over to his place to get him out of the house. He had hoped to go to a bar with one of them but they both insisted that he go and take a walk around away while they watched over his kids. He didn't know what he would do in the meanwhile, he hated being out of the house all alone cause of his paranoia. When he heard his name in the elevator he thought at first it was the end, but thankfully it was Aulus. His time with Aulus has been most warm, he enjoyed listening to him. He faced Aulus and smiled. "I'm sorry for how I reacted, I thought you were single or not married. I can see why you are often so sad. Can I ask how long ago she died?" Laius's heart got heavy, really heavy. He hoped that it would have gotten easier, but it was still painful. "Almost 2 years now." Laius gulped, Aulus moved closer to Laius and looked down. "I see. I'm so sorry for your loss." "I'm glad someone is." Laius's voice was quiet, but he pushed himself to smile to Aulus like he would for his kids. "Thank you, it means a lot." Laius looked at Aulus with anxiety rushing through him, he wanted to try to be normal but he was afraid it was a mistake. He didn't want to bring this caring turian down with him. But his friends told him to, so. "You know, you didn't even ask if I was interested in guys." Aulus laughed nervously and shied away, "Fuck! You're right, dammit. But you are, right?" "I'm not unknown to same-sex." Aulus's excitement was peaking up, so much that his heart pounded. But this wasn't out of the ordinary for him. Aulus kissed Laius out of the blue, it felt reactionary to him. There was this cute turian who was being considerate, friendly and open with him about being bisexual. This felt like the right moment for him, until it suddenly hit him how fast he was hitting on him. Not only that, it was right after Laius talked about his dead wife. "I'm sorry! I probably, most definitely shouldn't have done that." Aulus retracted and began to feel horrible, which quickly subsided with a sympathetic shoulder rub. "It's alright, I just wasn't expecting it." "Yeah but that was stupid of me, here you were talking about your wife and as soon as I heard you- oh fuck I'm sorry." "Look, I understand. But don't feel bad, you're tired and perhaps very lonely." Laius's heart sank as he said that, knowing that's how he felt for so long after Alnia died. Then he started kissing his kids and was so ecstatic when he done it. The constant reminder of who he was began to weigh an awful lot on himself, but he pushed on. "If anything it surprised me, I didn't realize you were really that into me." "How could I not be when you've been so nice to me?" Aulus faced Laius once more with a sad yet relieved smile, "You treat me like I'm not a number and we hardly know each other." "You have a number?" Laius queried looking a little confused, Aulus paused initially at the question before shaking his head. "Nevermind that, I'm just. I just feel so comfortable around you and you don't treat me like I'm another fucking cog in a system." "I see, I'm sorry to hear that." "See! There you go again being so god damn nice." Aulus sniffed a little and started to laugh, "Well I feel so damn lucky right now, so god damn lucky. Thank you." Aulus moved closer for another kiss, something Laius didn't necessarily want but allowed. The kiss was sweet and heartwarming so it made Laius glad he accepted it. Suddenly Laius felt his phone call in his pocket to which he answered it while showing consideration towards Aulus with an apologetic look. After a little bit his face got worried as he put his phone away back into his pocket. "I'm sorry, I need to go." Aulus's excitement died down like it was being snuffed gently, something Laius quickly noticed. "I'm really sorry, but I will see you again tomorrow?" "It's fine, and sure!" Aulus felt like an overly attached puppy. Laius stood up and handed his half empty energy drink towards Aulus, to only realize how rude that might have been. After a quick apology, and being laughed at, he was directed to the front door. "Hey! Soo... would you like to do anything tomorrow?" Aulus smiled looking into Laius's eyes. "Anything you'd want, honestly." Aulus grinned widely before embracing Laius in affection, something that caught Laius off guard. This guy was serious, lonely looking and probably desperate for affection. Something he didn't want to shame him no matter how off guard and uncomfortable he is feeling. So he patted Aulus on the back with a smile and left with the both of them waving at each other. Pedestrians walking past looked at the both of them with odd expressions. Laius felt bad for having to go, but the message worried him. 'Caetia needs you'. He got to his unit and saw Crius and Fidius sitting in the lounge with Apius playing a video game on the TV, Fidius lit up as a gesture of congratulating Laius, but it felt somewhat condescending. "Hey Lai! Good to see you. Do you feel any better?" "I don't know, where's Cae?" Caetia was the only thing on Laius's mind right now, he felt anxious like something was wrong. "She's in your bed. She er, freaked out not seeing you here and kept crying. So we, or rather 'I', told her to go cool down in your room. She er, was very loud and very upset." Crius smiled tiredly at Laius. Laius only felt a little better knowing nothing major happened, but he was still all over the place in his mind. A younger turian was hitting on him, got really close to him and then he gave the 'A-OK' signal that anything is on the table. Laius's nerves were tense but he pushed through it for now he had to see Caetia to see if she's alright. Caetia's tantrums aren't all that common despite her age as she's more likely to cry and sulk than to get into a temper tantrum. Laius took into consideration of how lucky he had Crius and Fidius as friends, that they are so suspiciously reliable did cross his mind. "Thanks, Crius." Laius turned to Apius who was in the middle of a game, who also looked like he was desperately trying to distance or detach himself from his surroundings. "Are you ok, Api?" "Yes." Apius didn't turn to respond but Laius noticed that he tensed up as soon as he was talked to. Laius nodded back and went straight to his room, he could faintly hear Caetia still crying. He opened the door quietly just in case he would accidentally spook her. Caetia sat on the bed naked with a wet and sticky face from all the crying, some of the mess coming from her nose. She was already looking at the door and she began to cry once more. "Daddy!" She stretched her arms towards her father with her eyes crying and all red. Laius embraced Caetia in what felt like a heartbeat. As he swayed her, stroking the back of her head while kissing her forehead, he whispered over and over that it was going to be ok, that daddy was here. Caetia didn't want to comprehend that Laius wasn't home all day, the notion that he was out for a few hours scared her so much; it reminded how her mother disappeared. Caetia rubbed her tearful and mucusy face into Laius's chest, dampening his top. "I'm here now, Cae. It will be alright, it will be alright." "Don't go!!" "I won't leave you Cae," "Don't go..." "It will be alright, Caetia. I love you and I would never leave you." He stroked her back and patted it gently. "But there will be times I have to leave the house. I know it will be scary for you but I will always come back, I would never forget to come back." "I don't want you to gooo..." Caetia winged on and on, as a 4 year old would. Some time had passed with Caetia calming down, Laius got her to talk about what she did while he was gone and he listened attentively. Caetia began to smile again, filling Laius with relief. The morning alarm went off, with Aulus slapping it to shut it up. As he yawned he sighed feeling a sense of dread and yet some excitement. Laius would be coming over today, they could do just about anything together it seems and that was particularly exciting to Aulus. He needed a good fuck, badly, and as much as he liked Laius he couldn't help but feel a little guilty, with how he'd lost his wife and all. And now he wants to make him happy, perhaps he needs it too? Regardless, all he had to do is get through another slug of a day and see if Laius is infact up for it. He did all he could to prepare himself as he normally would, he ate, he drunk, got dressed and made himself look as uniform as possible. With a final sigh he left his house and headed off to work. He wanted to keep thinking about after work but his mind kept getting sucked into dread of dealing with asshole coworkers and the uncaring environment, but maybe the douche in the elevator wouldn't be there to greet him so that filled him with some hope. He entered his workplace was on time, not that he really cared but it meant he didn't lose any pay. He saw the douchebag Serlus in one of the elevators but thankfully there was another one he could take. Serlus was getting hustled by a few coworkers in the elevator who was up in his face with baring teeth. Aulus didn't hear what it was about but felt good to see that guy getting harassed for yesterday's encounter. He got into the other elevator with a few other turian waiting alongside him. No one spoke, it was a rather peaceful ascent to a boring and soul crushing desk job that everyone looked bored out of their minds. Once he got to his desk of #25,411, what a number. The work he had was more than yesterday, he groaned and got right to it. It was another day and boy did it feel like it lasted forever, despite that Aulus wouldn't be able to remember anything from it. As soon as it was the end of work Aulus got stretched and headed straight to the elevator. As he stood and waited to get down to the ground level he noticed some blood on the hand railing and a bit on the edge of the floor. Turian blood, then he quickly realized this was the elevator that jerk Serlus was in. Well, if he got hurt then it wasn't any of Aulus's business. If anything he's glad. He left the elevator and walked right out of his workplace feeling a great deal of pressure of his mind and back. He yawned tiredly and began to smile, he thought about Laius and how excited he was. Perhaps he didn't mean sex but, doesn't mean he couldn't ask? He got home, opened the door and immediately went to collapse on his lounge. Breathing deeply he smiled for what felt like him was peace and security, honestly he felt like crying. Some time had passed that Aulus heard a knock on his door, alarmed that he had fallen asleep he sorted himself up in a panic, making sure he was neat and presentable before opening the door. And there he was, Laius waved awkwardly with Aulus grinning widely and gave way for Laius to enter. "It's so good to see you, today was a fucking bore. It was better than yesterday though." Aulus said in gladness, Laius walked inside with Aulus closing the door behind him. "I'm glad it was better." Laius turned and faced Aulus with a smile, an awkward moment had passed that the two stood staring at each other before snapping out of it. "Oh, sorry. Um where shall we go?" Aulus started laughing and wrapped an arm Laius and gestured to the living room. "I mean we could watch something. We can chat, we can drink, we can... do anything really." As the two went and sat down on the lounge Aulus leaned against Laius with a sigh. "Honestly it's so good to see you again." "I'm glad I could brighten your evening up. So, er." Laius felt so hesitant, nervous and yet... unsure of what to say or do, he had to think of something quick before it gets too awkward. "How was your day?" Laius asked, Aulus started to chuckle. "I already told you. It was a fucking bore just... so much typing, reading and proofreading. I'd rather not talk about it further." Aulus paused and gazed at Laius with a relaxed smile. "I appreciate you asking though, thanks. Are you always this sweet?" Laius didn't reply at first, he felt like his gut wrenched. What was he to say? Should he go now, should he run and fuck this relationship before it starts anything? What if Aulus finds out? This was all to risky and frankly he shouldn't be doing this. "I guess, but I think I'm just-" Laius was freaking out in his mind already, he was so tense and nervous. "I think I'm just cautious and nervous, good impressions and all." Laius felt his gut drop, his anxiety was starting to spike. "Don't worry about that, you've made a great impression already. Relax please." Aulus moved his head to get a better look at Laius, Laius faced towards Aulus trying to not say or utter anything. "We don't have to do anything you don't want to, you know?" "I know." "Then relax, but if you can't or you have to leave then that's fine. I'm here to listen to you, you know." Aulus stroked Laius's shoulder comfortingly. "I can tell you hold baggage..." Aulus's felt like his heart was breaking, there was something deeply troubling Laius and he is just frozen before him. He wanted to help him so bad. "I'm sorry, I don't mean to bring down the mood, I'm nervous to find someone new." Laius was only half lying, he smiled nervously at Aulus. "Ahh... that makes sense." Aulus said with a strong sense of empathy, suddenly he felt his stomach grumble. "Oh crap." Aulus stood abruptly, "When I got home I didn't eat, I hardly ate at work and now I remembered that I am starving." He stood up and walked to the kitchen and faced back at Laius, "Would you like anything?" "No thanks, I've already eaten. But don't mind me I can stay, chat and watch you eat." Laius replied warmly back, he could already feel himself breathe easier. Aulus smiled back as he started to get food out of his fridge, leftover pizza that he ordered a few days ago. He carried the box of leftover pizza and sat down next to Laius already digging into the pizza. Laius looked at the pizza and immediately felt at home, styled pizza that he and his kids eat frequently. "Ah, yeah sorry I'm a bit of a multiculturalist. I love human styled food and well, culture." Aulus explained with a watching Laius, "Don't mind me I'm just shocked." "I don't blame you, you should know now that I'm an odd turian." "No no, I mean. I'm surprised you go to the same pizza shop." My kids and I love eating human styled pizzas." As Laius explained Aulus's face lit up in astonished joy of pleasure and then shock. "No way!" Aulus exclaimed with some food in his mouth but it wasn't entirely at the mention of the food. It was that Laius said he had kids. "That's so cool I honestly thought you were judging me and thinking 'what the fuck is this freak eating?'. I'm so relieved that, well that you share the same food interest." Aulus paused to swallow some food and to catch his breath, "What kind do you and your kids tend to eat pizza wise?" As Aulus excited spoke Laius's face turned to a relaxed adoration, "My son likes the eat plain old cheese pizza, my daughter can eat just about anything but she does love the pepperoni pizzas." Laius paused as he could immediately see some tension across Aulus, it finally dawned on him that he never said he had kids as well. "I'm sorry, I forgot to tell you I have kids." "No no it's fine. I should have thought and known. It's shocking to be but still that makes sense of how and why you look down and stressed. How old are your kids?" "Apius, my son, is a few months away to becoming 8. Caetia is 4 turning 5 soon as well." "Those sound like lovely names." Aulus said with warmth, "Maybe someday I can meet them?" "Someday for sure." "So, you leaving yesterday was you being called back home?" Aulus asked, trying to piece the pieces. Laius nodded softly at first but then repeated it affirmatively back at Aulus. "Caetia needed me, she likes knowing I'm home so she has one parent. With me leaving the house of the late she's afraid I'm going to leave her too." Laius explained as best he could, he didn't -have- to but he wanted to. It was paying off too as Aulus smiled more comfortably looking back with love on his eyes. "You're a wonderful Dad I bet." Aulus said with a little tease on his words, Laius made sure he looked back with a smile to hide how horrified and sickened he felt inside. He wasn't a good dad, far from it. This was a joke, a very cruel joke at that. He could only blame and hate himself for it. "I would love to hang out with you and your kids someday, that way we can all meet and I can play with them too." Aulus added as he chewed on more pizza, while Laius's heart was freaking and panicking with a sickening amount of grief taking over; yet his expression did not change and was no sign of any distress. "I'm sure my kids would love to meet you too someday." Laius replied as carefully as he could as he breathed slowly and calmly. He had to get some quick space, he needed some time to let out. "I'm sorry I need to go to the toilet, where is it?" As he stood up Aulus stood up as well and directed Laius to the toilet. As Laius apologized about needing to quickly 'go' he felt the tension rising a tad bit more. As he sat down on the toilet he put his hands on each side of his head as he hunched over staring at the floor. He breathed heavily and sniffed in regret filled distress and a growing sense of sickness. He didn't want to go and he wasn't, but he felt like he needed to. He just needed a few minutes to calm down. Aulus had finished his food in a short amount of time as he felt suddenly very sensual about his guest. He went into his room and changed his clothing, to a top that said 'I <3 CANADA', a jacket over that one and wore comfortable long pants. He had been dying to show this trick to a lucky person and Laius was more than worthy of it. He prepped his room by cleaning it up and straightened the sheets to make it look appealing to lie across. As he cleaned up his room and set it for sexy times he hoped to himself that Laius was infact interested, he saw signs but he doesn't recall Laius stating that he does. He laid on the bed waiting for Laius, a little while had passed and he didn't hear anything from Laius or the toilet flushing, but as soon as he started to get up the toilet flushed with a Laius stepping out to wash his hands. "Hey Laius?" Aulus called out, with a slight pause with Laius cleaning his hands Aulus heard a reply. "Yeah?" "Come over here." In no time at all Laius saw a relaxed and chill looking Aulus, his jacket covering most of his shirt and obscuring the name. To Laius all he saw was 'I <3 ANAL', this was obviously intentional. Laius stared with midst amusement and charm across his face. "I recognize that shirt, you wore that when you first introduced yourself." "Aw you remember that? So, like do you like it?" "It's very provoking." Laius replied with a hand covering his mouth to hide his smile. "If I may ask, what even is Canada?" "Canada is a country on Earth. I went there one time as a way to gain sanity, there was a lot more humans there than I anticipated but there was also a lot of other sentient life. Mostly turians to be exact though and Asari though." Aulus laid down flat and made space on his bed, patting and rubbing it to coax Laius to lie down with him. Laius climbed onto the bed and laid next to Aulus who were brimming with sensuality and excitement. "I'm so very glad you are here with me." Aulus said softly with soft eyes, Laius smiled back and rested a hand on Aulus's side. Laius looked into Aulus's eyes and felt a strange sense of comfort, although it isn't what he's use to of the late it felt nice. Nice that someone would want to consensually be interested in him. Aulus moved closer to Laius and smooched one of his mandibles. "I'm glad your happy, but I haven't done anything yet." Laius replied to all the sensual gestures, Aulus's face grinned widely with adoration. "You've done plenty by just being here with me, being yourself." As Aulus finished Laius's heart dropped once more, he wasn't being himself he is stressed and trying so hard to make a good impression. Aulus doesn't know anything about him, that fact also weighed heavily on him. Laius huffed in bemusement as a response back to hide his discomfort and waited a little while yet. "Hm, sooo. You're not one to initiate huh?" Aulus teased, Laius chuckled back nervously and sighed. "Yeah, sorry." "Shh, don't be sorry. If you like I can initiate this, so long as you really do want to do this." It took a bit for Laius to properly respond, his eyes looked around uncertainly but focused on Aulus, that was enough of a sign for him. Aulus kissed with a lick across Laius's lips, wagged his tongue around a mandible in the process. Laius moved himself closer to Aulus as he pressed his body against his while rubbing Aulus's side. Slow as they pressed their lips against another and rubbing around each other they slowly undressed, Aulus's breath hot on Laius's face as they kissed. It was no time at all that they had stripped, Aulus was already hard with excitement but invited Laius to jerk him off. As Laius jerked Aulus off they breathed heavily together staring at each other, Aulus felt so safe and incredibly turned on just at the thought of having an older turian with him. Laius looked at interest of Aulus's member, but he couldn't help but feel slightly disappointed. It wasn't Apius's cock, or another poor turian boy's cock, it just wasn't what he was use to or something he wasn't entirely into. That said he was into it just enough to ignore. Aulus moved Laius's hand away and moved down to give Laius a blowjob, as he sucked and slurped Aulus's breathing intensified. This was something Laius hadn't experienced in a long while, he wasn't always a big fan of it but with Alnia he allowed it. Normally it was him rimming another and in Apius's case he would happily suck him off. Laius allowed Aulus as the feelings weren't the worst but he had to keep thinking about Apius and Caetia to get harder. As time went on Aulus had stopped and looked up at Laius with a cheeky and seductive grin. He then rolled over and positioned his posterior to Laius before lying on his side to look back at him. Laius moved over Aulus and planted himself near said posterior, he rubbed it all around and spread it open a little bit. It wasn't entirely prepared but it wasn't enough to gross Laius out, he wasn't surprised due to Aulus mentioning he fell asleep as he got home. Laius fingered and prodded Aulus that got the turian to moan a little with a giggle of affection. Shortly after Laius sat up and moved himself into fucking position and slowly pushed his cock into Aulus. There was little resistance, plenty of room and was of ease to press into him; all the things that caught Laius off guard. "You can do harder you know?" Aulus teased, a shudder went over Laius as he looked down at Aulus. A moment had passed and he saw Apius, but it was just Aulus instead. Then it dawned on him of what Aulus said. "Sorry, I will." Laius replied to make sure Aulus knew he heard him. He wasn't used to feeling this level of ease, the lack of resistance in Aulus's ass was incredibly odd. He never wanted to go super hard on Apius, he knew Apius's limits and was so used to the rhythm; but Aulus's ass was completely different. As he sped up he still felt afraid, concerned, wary, hesitant, all manner of words that expressed to him what he should not do. Laius pushed through it to appease Aulus however knowing how disappointing sex can be for someone, much like himself right about now. He kept getting faster, harder and all the more wobbly of uncertainty and nervousness still very present on his mind. He had to find a rhythm and soon for he did not want to embarrass himself or disappoint Aulus. Aulus moaned loudly and gripped his bed sheets as he closed his eyes in ecstasy, coinciding with Laius speeding up. "Faster! Harder!" Muttered Aulus as he got louder and louder, he started to grunt in pain and pleasure mixed. Aulus was clearly more into this than Laius who was trying his best to ejaculate. Finally Laius had managed to cum causing Aulus to exclaim loudly. Laius pulled out and moved back a bit and tried to catch his breath, he couldn't help but still feel dissatisfaction. He sorted himself immediately as Aulus looked back with a relaxed and loving expression. "Wow..." Aulus trailed off at first, "If there's one thing I have to say is that you definitely got experience. If it isn't too crass of me to say you being married before really gave you an edge of experience I wasn't entirely expecting." Aulus sniffed with me grin, his ass still feeling raw from the fucking and cum slightly oozing out. "I guess so." Laius said with a single chuckle, he smiled and wiped his cock juice all over his clothing. "I er, normally would offer to rim you but. You weren't entirely clean, which isn't a problem." "Oh crap, yeah sorry. But wait, you'd want to?" "Well yeah, I wouldn't have brought it up if I didn't." As Laius replied Aulus laughed and kicked once at Laius playfully. "Don't you sass me. But hey, if you want to go again another time we could~." Aulus slowly got up without wiping his posterior across his bed in the process and slowly stood up straight. "I'm going to feel this tomorrow!" Aulus giggled in a overwhelmed feeling of love and adoration. Laius stood up but as soon as he did Aulus embraced and rested his head against Laius's chest. "Are you alright?" Laius asked out of courtesy and concern. "I've never felt better!" Aulus said with a smile, he let go of Laius and with an ache walked over to the shower. "So, I really need to get clean. Want to join me or go home messy and sticky?" Offered Aulus, Laius affirmed with a noise and followed him to the shower. The shower was barely big enough to fit both of them comfortably, it was smaller and with one shower head only in comparison to Laius's bathroom; not that he would mention right off the bat. They showered together with Laius assisting Aulus in the cleaning. "That's awfully kind of you." Aulus said with a warm cheer. "I'm sorry, I probably should have asked first." Laius replied, Aulus laughed and rested his forehead against his hand. "You're sweet." Without saying anything more Laius helped Aulus get clean together, both smiling at each other in a sense of comfort and security. A few minutes later they hopped out and started drying themselves to put on their clothes once more. Laius looked in his pants pocket and saw his phone having an unread message. He opened it up and saw the message yet again 'Caetia needs you.' Laius's relaxed face dropped with anxiety spiking up. Aulus noticed he checked his phone and had started to rush getting dressed before him. Laius looked at Aulus then away as he tried to dress himself faster, then back at again. "I'm sorry I have to go." Laius said with worry even on his tone. "Your daughter needs you?" Aulus said with care, Laius nodded back with a sigh. "I'm really sorry." "Don't be! I had an amazing night. But, how about next time we meet I will visit you so your daughter won't get too anxious?" Aulus offered feeling even more love and affection for Laius. Laius took a moment to consider and then nodded back with an affirmed grunt. "That would be alright by me. What time do you reckon you would be over?" "That depends on my work. I'll call you when I have an idea or time?" "I think I'd prefer ahead of time for a date. Sometimes things get messy that I don't want you to see." Laius struggled and only barely withheld a gulp occurring as he said that. "That's fair, I've been to other people's homes and have seen how messy it can be with children. They also said the same thing to me too! So don't worry, you sweet thing." Aulus's smile could melt butter. Laius smiled and felt a sense of ease and relief. He sounded and looked so sincere, but he still felt some level of distrust; he knew how deceiving people can look on the surface. Laius fully dressed himself and Aulus moved up to him and stopped before him within inches looking up at him. They hugged and gave one final kiss before Laius took off to go home. Laius entered his home and sighed to let out all his anxiety out of his system. Caetia immediately ran up to him crying and babbling on about how she missed him, feared he wouldn't come back again and was scared something had happened. Laius did all he could to reassure and comfort his emotional daughter. He cradled her in his arms, kissed her on the forehead and listened to her talk to him. He sighed and listened as he stared off into nothingness of what happened just before. Aulus was undoubtedly nice and affectionate, knew nothing about Laius and saw no red flags. Laius felt like a murderer in waiting, or a serial offender lying through his teeth talking to someone innocent. He did NOT like it. He kept thinking about the sex, it felt nice on a platonical level but it just didn't feel 'right' to him. Not 'right' on a moral sense but for love, real love. He however hoped that he would, and wouldn't, get use to Aulus due to a part of him uncertain about change. It worried him greatly. Fidius and Crius were over at the time and had a casual chat with Laius, they knew he experienced sex just a bit ago based on the ruffled clothing, a certain 'smell' and how Laius was acting differently. Normally Fidius would make light of the situation but he gave Laius space out of courtesy. Before Fidius and Crius could leave Laius spoke up to them, Apius and a now calm Caetia. "I've been seeing someone recently, that's why I've been out." Laius said at first, Apius looked up with worry and yet a look of hope. "His name is Aulus, he's err quite nice. I've invited him to come over one day but we'll see what day." "Is he like you?" Apius said, his face showing that he is now bracing himself for more things to go wrong. "No, no not that I know of." "I hope so." Apius said sounding more flat. "Is he nice?" Caetia asked loudly, "He's nice, very sweet. Someone I should learn from honestly." "How old is he?" Crius asked as he checked his phone for updates but still keeping his eyes on Laius. "I can't recall, I do know he's much younger than I am but he's an adult." "Hah that's an upgrade!" Fidius jested, Crius smacked him across the head causing Fidius to growl and sneer back. "Does he know you have kids? That you were married?" Crius had to be sure, "He does." "Ok that's good. Less secrets to tell I." As Crius said that Laius's face fixated on panic and anger, "I know you won't tell him I'm just saying, Lai. Sorry for worrying you." Laius relaxed a little bit but the worry still draped over him. "Well I got to get going sorry I need to wake up early to do a crappy shift and frankly I can't make any mistakes. Also, I can't cover your for a while now. Sorry." Crius said with a smile. "Same honestly, except I need to assist in some missions. Something about drugs, I don't really know and frankly I can't say more." Fidius added. "All good, thank you you two so much for looking after Apius and Caetia. We'll see you another time." Laius said with Caetia waving back at them, Crius and Fidius left waving back and closed the door behind them. For the rest of the night they ate, chatted and watched a movie together. Laius could not shake those off feelings, he just hoped he wasn't getting himself into trouble; something Apius was also hoping for. ======= Laius laid in bed feeling empty, his worry growing more and more about Aulus. He begged to himself that he hoped Aulus would never find out, but that made him feel sick. It was a sick thing to hope for, to keep hiding his fucked up habit and needs. He could just tell Aulus that he would rather be friends or rather to fuck off, but Laius has never been good at being rude to people who are kind to him. Especially intentionally. He just kept telling himself it was going to be alright, that Aulus could be the one to pull him out of this cesspit of repetitive child abuse. Even though the irony still hit him that he held his darling daughter close to him in bed while fingering her asshole. He sighed softly and yet deeply, he felt utterly helpless and fucking useless.
