Elijah and Tobias are 6 years old twins and very obsessively attached to each other. Their mum and dad noticed when they took one from the other that the two of them would throw fits of anger, screaming and crying until they were reunited. The two boys were examined by a child psychology expert and found that they had an acute high functioning aspergers syndrome. Upon accidental or intentional splitting of the two causes them to to breakdown and become inconsolable.
Both of the boys expressed "I want my brother!" and refuse to listen or cooperate.
When together and asked by the expert of "Why did you not listen to me?" or "Why did you kick, bite and hit me when I took one of you away?" the boys answered,
"I can't be without my other half." The expert understood enough and explained to the boy's parents that the two are so incredibly bonded that it will be very hard for the two boys to grow up. Suggesting a special needs school for the sole reason that they will be taken into consideration to always be seated next to each other. If they were to be at their desk then their desks will be next to each other so they can hold hands. As the expert said with a bit out of breath,
"It's like they need a constant connection," followed with, "They love to learn, brainstorm, problem solve and read together so they aren't hard to teach. When talking to them Elijah was so expressive and happy to talk to me, while Tobias held his hand and remained quiet. You just can't have them be separated or you will not be able to teach them at all. Unless of course the teacher needs a reminder why they're there and not at a public school."
Elijah (pink haired) is the more optimistic, expressive and the general vocal point of the two boy's relationship and connection. Showing that he loves to talk about their obsession of certain toys, games and especially his love for his brother. What is to be understood is that Elijah is easily made upset and while he loves talking he has moments of great asocial behaviour after the two are reunited.
Tobias (purple haired) is not necessarily pessimistic but more so pessimistically optimistic, often feeling a sense of anxiety of being split from his brother and interactions with people he doesn't know. That said he is easily the more emotionally stable of the brothers and is more likely than Elijah to get violent. Otherwise Tobias keeps to himself and chats to Elijah a lot, being the more working brain of the two to help the both of them learn.
The parents -redacted- and -redacted- love their two boys, their home-life has got structure for the boys as well as incentives for the boys (aka video games and toys). However the mother expresses grief saying,
"I love our Elijah and Tobias, I really do. But at times they just see through me and only pay attention to each other. I've had to come to terms with that they love each other far more than they love their own mother." but added, "When I call for one of them I'm always guaranteed to get the other! It has it's ups and downs but I love our boys so much even if they don't express to me." The father added,
"I've had siblings and absolutely hated their guts, I've never seen brothers actually love each other. It's... magical really. Not that it's impossible but I've never seen it. Tobias's face lights up every time he looks at Elijah and often his face just looks serious and analytical. The fact they learn so well together is relieving, after the expert at first told us they will struggle."
"I have caught them in a rather... surprising act with each other. I know boys will be boys but it seems like we got ourselves 2 boys that won't have girlfriends or boyfriends in the future. Not to say it isn't possible, I kind of hope they meet someone else at least but I'm optimistic. At least they can't have babies!" The mother laughed.
"My father disproved of any homosexual acts throughout my life, I've never done any of it out of fear. More than likely we'll have to keep the boys away from my side of the family. No doubt they will upset the boys. Strange to say I'm glad to know or assume now, or rather this early. So long as they're happy."
Elijah and Tobias where ever they went held hands, preferably with their non dominant hand. Tobias being left handed of the two. The two slept in the same bed, showed together and showed affection a lot during the day with hugging and occasional cheek kissing. Neither of them understand why people giggle or laugh at the display -malicious or not-. When they're not learning, sleeping, eating and playing games the two often talk out loud in make believe. Both showing great imagination and play off each other's addition to the story they're having. They avoid most kids due to them wanting to be friends with one of them and instead the both of them. The two only have one other friend who has health issues, they became friends with them after they said they liked them and didn't want to split the two out of curiosity.
