The fluid took the shape of a girl when "awoken" by Floretta's ordinary disregard for instruction involving the word "discreet." Floretta subsequently transported her here in the aforementioned tube, since other means seemed improbable. Capable of emotion and communication, has a habit of sucking on her thumb. She seems to be altruistic to what extents a slime monster can be, apart from her unwillingness to let us remove the teddy bear embedded in her torso. She favors sweets but doesn’t seem to actually digest food of any kind, though she will absorb water or fruit juice to an extent, probably to make up for evaporated fluid. She’s capable of feeling, but evidently not pain. The fluid that makes up her body always comes back together if separated. It was initially presumed that she was a golem, but, given the otherwise static nature of her form and how frequently she seems to forget that she isn’t solid, the reality may be quite dark.\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t | \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

It hasn't been determined whether she is capable of speech, as she is incredibly timid. I’m mostly sure that she’s capable of emotion, although she has yet to do anything on her own other than frown helplessly at us. She immediately fulfills any request without delay, always favoring the orders of whomever she perceives to be the largest person in the room, even if her expression suggests unease or unwillingness to do so (not that it ever doesn’t). This unquestioning obedience perked my curiosity: I told her to smile, eliciting a very half-hearted grin that dissipated into the usual frown after a few seconds--an unsatisfactory result. She allowed us to dull her claws with a file without any apparent pain, but I still wonder if some kind of influence spell is at work to make her do the bidding of others. On that note, I'll ask Satoko to do some divination when she returns home. Addendum: There's no magic involved, unless you count hugs (Leama says you should and won't listen to any logic against it). Though still timid, she has a much happier demeanor when hugs are applied regularly. She also seems to like sitting in people's laps--care should be taken to keep this experience enjoyable for her (this is really just a personal note).\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t | \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
