Little Shropshire never liked the city with its noise and dirty air, and he would often run away to the nearby forest. Sometimes he would disappear there for weeks, even months. The forest was dark, but he could see perfectly in the darkness and observe the strange creatures, sometimes even playing tricks on passing travelers. Everyone who was a guest in the forest became a guest of the boy as well. He loved to tell them various tales from books, pose riddles, and have fun. His unusual coloring and bright amber eyes seemed to perfectly fit the setting, as if he was meant to live there. He loves to read books while sitting on a sturdy branch under the tree canopies, occasionally getting distracted by the enchanting scenery before his eyes.
Because of his love for climbing trees and constantly exploring his surroundings, he often gets scratches and scrapes, which he carefully covers with bandages that he always carries with him.
