Thus 5A was considered to find a way to wrangle Zeitgeistalt and promote cooperation.\n\nI have captured a Hero Salazzle, caught taking house calls of all things and more than eager to walk up to my front door. Subject name: Selena Pelekai, AKA Dr. Benevolence. Quaint. Initially the interest came from noting her use of chemical sprays for medical purposes, giving ample opportunity to seize a chemical engineer with a potent substance that could naturally be released and plentifully harvested. What I ended up with instead housed potential far beyond previous expectations.\n\nSalazzles are known for their olfactory-based method of influence and control over both the lesser evolved males of their species and others around them, but Dr. Pelekai is an exception. A birth defect renders her pheromone glands incapable of producing the key ingredient that triggers submissiveness in those that inhale them. In lacking this, however, she has discovered the unique chemical composition allows it to be mixed with various formulas for amplified effects. \n\nFor the duration of the experiment, I’ve persuaded her to produce copious amounts of her pheromones to collect and chemically process. Under influence in the past she has developed concoctions with incredible hypnotic potency, to the point of achieving dominance over other Salazzles. I took what knowledge she had and quickly reached a critical breakthrough.\n\nZeitgeistalt exists predominantly in the frontal lobes of the brain, higher brain functions might be difficult to influence and control due to it being a networked entity. However. It does not have much control over the lower brain functions. Zeitgeistalt cannot stop a subject's heart or force it to change pupil dilation. So it's a reasonable assumption that the Hypothalamus can still be influenced through these olfactory manipulations.\n\nThe challenge is that from Lots A through F, the pheromone influenced the network as desired, where one node subjected to the pheromone affected nodes in the control group. But it was the wrong target: yes there was an increased libido, but it was still fixated on Dr. Pelekai, and not myself. Not to mention a brief accident with Lot D (DNA markers of Dr. Pelekai scrubbed so it served as an undiluted aphrodisiac) that left my own inhibitions compromised for an afternoon.
