Cub Eternal V 1.19.38
After many troubles and obstacles to deal with, I finally manage to finish a new and very special update not only for the new content but also for an advanced mechanic applied to the game. This time is focused on an expansion of the Wetcaves and the New Boss of the area plus new scenes in Southville.
UPDATES
Patron's Request:
After the poll from Patreon now increased the chances of the random events in exploring areas, this includes means find scenes easier and also encounter more monsters.
Zone Expansion:
Wetcaves its a underground zone that resides deep below the Darkwoods that usually was only accesible by falling on a puddle trap or by trip in Orca. Now it counts with a direct entrance located at Southville's south beach that directs to the underground.
Wetcaves counts with two new subareas:
- Blue Cave: It's a labyrinth with glowing mushroom. Works as obstacle on the way to reach the new boss area. Has traps and the Blue Slimes here are more aggresive in this area.
- Crystal Cave: As the name says, its a cave where spawns glowing crystals which can be mined in specific parts of this area to obtain the new special item of the game "The Glow Shard".
This zone is controled by the new boss where he is the only menace and lurks around the cave looking for new preys to play with. The danger of this zone is that over time increases your status "Lewd Scent" which the increases the chances monsters find the players, including the new boss, which means that players has a limited time to roam in the Crystal Cave before be found.
At the center exist a glowing pool with a suspicious arousing sustance where Radium likes to swim for time to time. Be close to this will increase faster the Lewd Scent (for those who wanna find the boss faster)
New Tentacle Boss:
Radium, HP between 220 and 240 (for now) is the new boss of the wetcaves. Is a tunneler, a tentacle creature that lurks in caves and able to move fast underground. Is strong, resistant, a good sense of smell and has a strong natural healing after a battle.
Instead of appear by luck like other monsters, Radium roams around the Crystal Cave in circles, looking for new friends to play with. The players has a small chance of heard him come near but will not know from where and if the player's Lewd Scent is high, Radium has a chance of find the player if is close enough.
When encounter Radium, you have 2 options:
- Fight: If you choose fight you will have to weaken him enough for you to make him temporally retreat. Radium currently is undefeatable.
- Run: If you choose to run, Radium IS GOING TO CHASE YOU and will keep doing it until you escape both the Crystal Cave and Blue Cave or decide to fight him (Also this blocks temporaly your access to inventory).
If you lose the battle against Radium, the first time It is guaranteed that he will let you go after had his fun with you... but the next time has a 50% chance to trigger his Game Over scene. (So Save before face him)
New enemies:
- Large Leech: Located in the new tunnel on the way to the wetcaves. Can also be encountered by Fishing on the east dock.
New Items:
- Fishrod (Buy with Merchant "Neo")
- Fish (Obtained by fishing)
- Cooked Fish (When cook fish at campfires)
- Glow Shard (Used to reveal paths in the Darkwoods)
Items Update:
- SnailShell now can be also obtained by Fishing
- Oooey's Special Items now give positive buffs
New Scenes:
- Radium's Tentace Rape (Lose battle against Radium in the Crystal Cave)
- Radium's Game Over Scene (Lose battle against Radium more than once)
- Vine Trap catching player (Sudden trap in Blue Cave)
- Vine Trap catching slime (Lucky scene in Blue Cave)
- Sucked by Armen (Patrol Scout Camp)
- Xeno x Player (Dock in the Lake's east side)
- Player x Xeno (Dock in the Lake's east side)
- Brother and Sister (Special scene found by luck visiting Catpaw's home in Southville)
- Large Leech Scene (Found in the tunnels between Wetcaves and Southville or by fishing on the dock)
New Characters:
- Tunneler boss "Radium"
- Xeno Catpaw
- Xella Catpaw
Character updates:
- Merchant Neo now appear in more places around Southville
- Armen has more interaction and a new scene
