They were endowed many powers to enable them to fulfill a variety of tasks. One of the most interesting happened to crop up when Mereliah began to notice a great distress among the people she looked after. They had grown fond of each other and wished to marry, mate and procreate, as was their right and purpose. However, the variety of lovely species that Mereliah reveled in creating and enjoying was providing a firm barrier from such unions being fruitful. She needed a solution without overhauling everything she had built.\n\nLlydia and every other dragon angel was given a new role and boon to assist in the matters of procreation among vastly different species. Once agreed upon to enter a union to resolve, the male would go into the dragon offered and pump his seed into it. The dragon would then transform it for universal compatibility using the magic inside its body. Then, being able to apply any sex to itself at will, the dragon would go into the female and pump the new seed into her. It was 100% guaranteed pregnancy when done this way. Two species would be joined as one.
