Cartoons and art of this sort of style was still very new to me, and a real challenge to try and understand it. I remember buying so many of those \"How to draw cartoons\" books and not understanding a single thing in it, and getting really frustrated. I had probably started drawing Sammy a whole year before uploading my first picture of him here. It's really strange looking back at this picture, because I remember it and all, but theres so much I DON'T remember about it too, like his fur color, the size of his south park looking head, and how he looks 4 years old XD\nI'm nowhere near where I'd like to be ability wise with cartoons, and I don't think I'll ever be, but it's been an adventure to say the very least, and it is nice to see that even though the new picture I drew is also shit, It's not as bad as what it used to be. We focus so much on getting better, and working so hard, that everything starts to look the same after awhile in our heads, we don't notice progression, and it can cause an endless road of frustration trying to improve and seeing no results. So sometimes it's fun to just take a few steps back and sort of see where you started.
