His response was "Draw a Yōkai!" At which point I scratched my head in confusion and googled it. A Yōkai is a being that can practically be of any shape or form, generally a spirit but sometimes not, generally mischivious but sometimes not.
In essence, he told me draw anything I felt like. Aaaaannd I did.
So meet Siwo Koshi, a Tsukumogami type of Yōkai, or possessed object.
Years ago, an old brewmaster found that his two sons had yet again opened a keg of his personal brew, ruining years of aging to perfection. Fed up with their meddling, he buried a jar of his mastercraft sake, where neither of his offspring could hope to find.
The brewmaster died however, taking the secret to his grave and the jar of sake laid buried at a rotted tree. As a hundred years passed, the sake jar began to wonder, "Wherever did my owner go?" For many more years Siwo stayed by the tree, simply looking on into the distance. Every so often a traveler would pass by, noticing a beautiful vixen with a flowing chest sitting by an ugly, gnarled magnolia.
Entranced by her beauty, she happily greeted them as they approached, calling them master and offering 'herself' to them.
Handing them a glass they would quench their thirsts, and what was vexed by vixen quickly became vexed by liquor. They would drink, and drink and drink until slurred and blurry eyed. For Siwo was afraid, that her master would leave again and she'd be all alone. Their bellies grew huge, sloshing and weighing them down. Most never noticed, or perhaps didn't care. Drinking the sake and speaking with this beautiful woman. None ever made it through the night however, always passing out before the sunrise. Sowi knew that her master was no lightweight, and that if the visitor could not handle a single jar (to her mind), they were obviously not her master. She would roll the rounded bodies down the hill letting them sleep at its foot, where they would awaken, refreshed and with a slight bloat in their new guts.
Siwo learned many things from her talks with the passerbys. How long she had been waiting, how big the world was beyond what she could see, and how many people there were in the world. If she was to ever find her master, she would have to leave her hill and search for them!
Her first steps were cautious, but soon under the guidance of a full moon she traveled farther and farther. To each guest she met, she tested. Offering her drink to them, and if they could make it to the end of the night, then they were with out a doubt her master. No one ever succeeded however, falling asleep on the gravid spheres that were their guts.
Then one day, she came across a strange raccoon, training by a flowing river...
