"Takato is a fan of retro stuff,specifically the 80s and 90s in terms of TV,movies,culture and specially anime having an impressive collection that is secure in a room he calls "Vault 115",he is also a huge fan of the Macross franchise loving its music,mechanical designs and well written plots that not always centers on war,despite all of this he has a rather secret,having the peculiar "ability" to change between 2 distinct personalities,Roy,very confident and brave but has some temperament issues and Masaru,intelligent and a natural leader but shy and somewhat insecure at times,despite being able to control them they tend to take over Takato when they see the situation as apropiate but most of the time is to help rather than just being malicious"
Yeah a few points before we wrap things up
-the idea behind this character was taken from a an image dubbed Petsmart Cerberus that i originally saw on Instagram and decided to try and commission a cub that was a cerberus

-Takato is was originally planned to be named Terminus (probably as a The Walking Dead reference,but mainly because it sounded more "apporpiate")
-he also was originally planned as a full fledge Cerberus,with Roy and Masaru being 2 other heads,but to avoid the commission to be delayed or even having it to restart ive decided to give it a twist turning the heads into different personalities
-Another idea ive discarded (but will never forget) was that Terminus (Takato) was gonna have size changing powers,with a size limit of just 80ft
-Roy's name and hair is heavily based on the character of Roy Fokker from the original Macross anime and 1984 film Do you Remember love?
-Masaru was gonna be named Isamu,in reference to the protagonist of the 1994 OVA Macross Plus Isamu Alva Dyson and i also almost gave him the personality of another character,Yang Neumann,i think to just have him clash with Roy (but who knows maybe he is more Dyson than Fokker after all)
-the fundoshi he wears was originally part of his Terminus persona,but after the idea got discarded,it became his ""house"" clothing (and also for Luce so he start drawing other stuff that weren't just diapers or drynites)
-he was suppossed be the last survivor of a planet he was gonna rule,but after the attack and orbital bombardment of a hostile alien race seeking to exterminate them,he looked to avenge his people with the help of a trio of pilots from a expeditionary fleet (thats where Macross entered in place as another inspiration)
